I am trying to unlock oem with fastboot on my lg q6, but the fastboot program seems not to read my device:

I checked on the web that it is a driver issue, but I can't find USB drivers for Debian, which I am currently using. Is there any way to do it on a linux machine? Please help...

After Installing windows 10 by changing registry. My PC unable to detect my htc m8 vz.
I did try rebooting. Deleting device from Devices & Printer (Control Pannel). Nothing works.

BUMP.
I am trying to unlock my Bootloader so I can flash CWM. I have all the drivers and platform-tools installed, but everytime I try to use fastboot, it gets stuck on the dreaded (WAITING FOR DEVICES) and the phone itself isn't connected even though USB works and ADB works. I am running Windows 10. Any help?

It's a Windows OS issue, IMO.
Connect your phone using "Filetransfer-mode". Maybe you get access throught the Windows explorer.
