VoLTE suddenly got enabled yesterday on my phone, and now all incoming calls whether contacts or not are showing up as "unknown", I contacted my service provider but seems like they can't do anything and it's an issue with the phone itself, i put my SIM in another VoLTE enabled phone and everything was normal

Clear data in Sim toolkit, reset network settings.
Possible malware, any downloads, installed apps, updates or upgrades recently?
Run Malwarebytes, it might tag it if present.

Put your SIM in old Sony Ericcson and save your number to "My numbers" menu in contacts.
I'm always getting carrier settings update and it's very annoying.

Is this with the Smart Actions in ICS? You could try (if this is coming from this particular app) to clear the app data in settings>manage applications>(find Smart Actions)>select "clear data">reboot...

So I have enabled data roaming and have an active data connection however is there a way that I can enable the data icon back? I know the EE firmware shows roaming data type but I am now on unbranded UK customised firmware.

I Buy a reconditioned S8+ from oversea.
But it does not work by SIM card in Taiwan.:crying:
I think it seems to be limit by Telecom operator.

if you can place phone calls with it, it means that is not locked, so the next thing you should follow are the APN settings.

And if they are not the correct one, you can contact your network provider to provide them for you. Let me know if you fix them.
I cannot activate my SIM, and I have seen many videos on the subject and nothing works for me, I need help, if I do not activate my SIM the "Find My Device" service does not work I can't send SMS messages either.
