One UI 5.0 Samsung Galaxy A12 (SM-A127F) - General Questions and Answers

The latest, official, firmware of the device is Android 13 One UI Core 5.0. I want to install One UI 5.0 so I can use modyfications such as GoodLock. I found a custom rom and I was wondering if it'd work for my phone.

Can a new Samsung phone have stock android (Or a custom rom)?

I have an a01 core and the performance is a bit slow. Stock android is faster than android with One UI, so I wonder if there's a way to install a rom or stock android in. No matter if I need root. Sorry for not knowing about this topic

Question Project Treble for Galaxy M12

I want to know about backward compatibility support for Project Treble i.e. upto which android version gsi my device (Galaxy M12) supports it. According to google (link below) it's 3 years. But I don't know much about it.

M12 supports treble so one can flash gsi rom

Any chance for a treble port or android 12L?

These were amazing tablets. Any chance for a treble port or an android 12 custom rom? Clamor used to had an oreo custom build, isn't enough to make the tablet compatible with treble generic system images?

GSI rom oreo

Hi all.can i flash GSI rom of lineage os oreo on my a51?
A GSI is not a ROM and does not include a kernel; it's meant to be used with the original kernel. The Galaxy A51 launched with Android 11, so you should only be using Android 11 GSIs or above. This means LineageOS 18.1+.
I'm pretty sure Android 8 doesn't support GSIs - only 9.0 and above.
@AndyYan has been building LineageOS GSIs for quite some time; here is the 18.1 thread
If you need instructions for installing a GSI, you can try this guide; you would simply substitute the LineageOS GSI for the AOSP one.

As long as you're using arm64, it shouldn't matter

I'm not familiar with the A51 so I can't make any recommendations.
