Hello. I have a Redmi Note 11 Pro+ that got stuck in a boot loop. I've been pressing the power button for a few hours without any success. The only change now is that it no longer restarts in a loop; it just stays on the MI logo. The phone entered this vicious cycle after it ran out of battery and when I charged it, it started experiencing the boot loop issue.
I should mention that I can access fastboot mode, and Mi Assistant might be able to help me somehow.
phone is new without unlocked bootloader and other stuff.
when i connect phone to pc on mi assistant i can see in undefined devices "pissarro"
Do you have any advice on how to revive it?
Is it possible to recover at least the videos and photos from the phone without turning it on?
Try to see if you have the 'safe mode' option on the recovery and try.
Otherwise, erase your data with the recovery.
If the same try this tool:
(Tool) ROM2box All in one FRP, Flashing & unlocking tool
ROM2box is a Powerful tool and GUI bring all the tools on a single app. it support qcom mediatek and spreadtum phones. Supported Functions- Function Name Status bypass Auth Yes bypass FRP MTK yes bypass FRP qcom yes bypass FRP samsung...

Good news.
The reasons for this problem remain relatively obscure.
An update, an app, the beginning of a H.w problem can cause this problem and in general 80% of cases are not resolved so easily.
For photo/video backup use a cloud or back up regularly to a PC.

I have a xiaomi redmi note 7 pro from china and I was planning on rooting it and changing the rom. Anyways I unlocked boot loader and installed twrp but couldn't install the rom using twrp recovery mode. Then I followed a video which rebooted the phone into recovery mode again after clearing some things. However, before rebooting it says no OS but the video did it anyways. In the video the phone rebooted back into recovery mode fine, but my phone does not boot. It constantly boots up to the redmi logo, flashes and boots again into redmi logo. This continues forever. I can, however, at this point enter fast boot. I thought the problem must be I have no rom so I just need to flash a rom. Using mi flash tool didn't work there was always some error and I turned the phone off. After turning the phone off, I cannot turn it back on again!!! Nothing, not holding power, not holding power + volume, just pure blank can't boot at all. I really don't know wtf I can do know it just doesn't turn on at all no matter what. Please help guys.

1. Never boot into the system when there is a 'no OS' warning.
2. Use this TWRP next time (https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-7-pro/development/unofficial-twrp-3-3-1-proper-t3933531)
Does the phone charge or get detected by the computer when connected via USB?
If MiFlash doesn't seem to work try using ADB to Fastboot the ROM
If all hope is lost, the service centres can fix it.

when connected it is detected as qualcom 9008. I searched I think the phone is hardbricked, so can't enter fastboot. I think it can turn on and off. After holding power for 15 seconds, the usb is no longer detected. I could do the same to turn it back on. Do you know a service centre in Toronto?

Yes it's hardbricked for sure! But are you sure MiFlash doesn't detect it?
If so any good service centre around you should be able to fix it, it's something to do with the software so they won't need Mi authorised parts...

Mi flash detects it as COM10 or COM20 depending on which USB. But when I flash I get error like no hello packet. Also I am not sure if I am suppose to put prog emmc sdm660 in the images folder or not.

Ok so Hello Packet errors are caused due to corrupted files or also if your flashing is interrupted in the middle
Try:
1. Making sure your PC isn't 32 bit
2. Draining out the phone battery and try again
3. Disabling driver signature enforcement(https://www.androidfoot.com/2016/08/how-to-disable-driver-signature.html)
4. An older version of MiFlash
5. If all of the above don't work ,try using another PC
6. Also make sure the USB ports are in working condition ( I think yours is working tho)

Try this in ADB
(fastboot getvar all)
Without the brackets, now check for the unlocked line in the output and see if it shows yes or no
1. 64 eh, ok then no probs there
2. Oh ok take your time draining it
3. Try fastbooting the ROM via ADB see if that's works too

I had the same issue, but my phone went to fastboot from there I flashed it, the process was simple :
1. Download the fastboot rom and extract it (I guess two times, the first extraction extracts a file, open that with some extraction tool and uzip again, there you will see the fw with certain folders and images etc ).
2. Download the adb/fastboot zip file I"ll attach that here, extract it to the same folder where your fw files are. (fw = firmware).
3. You will find 3 bat files, flash all, flash all and lock, flash except storage, choose flash all (execute it).
4. Once done, reboot to recovery (stock), do a data wipe again.
This worked for me, hope it does for you too.

He/She said the phone doesn't boot into Fastboot either so that's very unlikely to work :-\
I need help. My Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 (MRD-LX2) EMUI 9.1.0 C636E7R1P7 won't boot and tells me "Serious problems occured when the device boot, you are recommended to do factory data reset". How do I get past this without doing a factory data reset? All of my precious data is in here
I've tried doing "Download latest update and recovery" and booting it to fastboot rescue mode and recovery it with HiSuite but no luck.
Any solutions to this before I go to an Authorized Huawei Service Center?

Can't believe your issue comes out of the blue. You must have applied something before.
BTW:
If you can access the phone by means of ADB you can do a Factory Reset at your own without wiping phone's user-data

Hi all.
I read that my oneplus 9 was able to test the beta of android 12 and found that I could do so in developer options and choose the dsu loader. Did that and now my device won't work at all. I can't get into recovery and factory reset it or anything it just restarts itself and i get an error message saying the device is corrupted and won't boot. Is it any way to fix this or have my own foolishness killed this phone? Please help

Not all hope is gone. If there is an msm tool for your variant your in luck. I have the global unlocked op9 and there isn't one yet. Although you can use a fastboot rom from xda. And there is always last resort of calling OnePlus customer service and getting a remote session . Explain to them you tried the beta release and now phone is unuseable . Hope you get it fixed as I bricked my op8 a month or so ago and it's a bad feeling. I also read the developer previews were not for north American devices. Maybe you saw that as well.

If you can boot to fastboot mode. Then fastboot format userdata I think
Didn't work. Think my bootloader is locked as well since I haven't unlocked it at all. Just read online that you could test the android beta by using that dsu thing and now my phone is gone. It was completely stock hadn't touched a thing except that I got into developer options. I didn't think i could brick a phone without mixing with ROMs and stuff.
Can you get it to bootloader?
Power off completely, then 3-button hold (vol up + vol down + power) till bootloader screen.
If you can, and you can get fastboot to recognize the device, you might have a shot at fastboot oem unlock, and then possibly a fastboot rom.
If not, then you might ask Oneplus support for an MSM tool

No luck with OEM unlock. Contacted oneplus here in sweden and will send the phone to them on Monday hoping they can fix it. Never thought i could mess upp a phone so much by just tinkering with settings within the phone but you live and learn all the time i guess. Bit sad since I got the phone two days ago
My phone was hard bricked after my battery ran out. It only shows a red light when charging.
Luckily the 9008 mode works and through the testpoints i'm able to connecti via edl.
Unfortunately MIFLASH doesn't work since you need an authorized account. However, i'm trying to use QFIL to flash on a fastboot rom. It doesn't seem to work.
Would anyone be able to help me with:
1. a guide on how to flash through QFIL (and which rom i need to use)
2. a No Auth Firehose file for this phone so i can use MIFLASH without authorization.
Thanks!
ok. Some progress now. I'm able to access fastboot. However, the phone is not detected on the computer. Red light while charging is also not present anymore, although i doubt that this is the flexcable issue.
Does anyone know how i can reflash with a locked bootloader in Fastboot?

With Mi Assistant but if the phone is not detected it is mission impossible.
some more progress.
Phone is turning on now, but is stuck at the miui logo. I have no idea why this phone is coming back to live so randomly. Still not able to see the phone in windows. (nothing in device manager)
I also don't understand what is going wrong. I didn't reflash anything. I only replaced the flex cable and then my phone only lid up with the red charging light (staying red).
Now the red light is not on anymore. But i'm sure there is connection since i was able to get into 9008 mode with the computer connecting to the phone in EDL.

If the problem occurred after replacing a component (battery, cable, etc.), surely something is incorrectly mounted or defective.
I have a spare charging pcb. can try that. But i'm not sure that's going to help since i can see the phone in 9008 mode. Just cannot flash the phone due to the mi account restrictions.
tried the new pcb. Same problems. I'm wondering. How do i activate wlan when in recovery mode. It shows that you can download a software package over wlan in recovery mode but everytime i click wlan it activates and immediately deactivates again.

Have you changed the battery?
Was the phone detected before?
What is the rom installed?
And now the phone is bootlooping. There is more and more life coming in this phone. But i really cannot understand why this phone is not properly working. There is nothing i'm changing here so the fact it's all of a sudden bootlooping doesn't make much sense to me.

1. Have not changed the battery. Battery seems to be fine.
2. Yes Phone was detected before. I used the last bit of power to get most of my pictures off the phone. Also, now it's still detected under 9008 mode.
3. Rom installed was the stock rom (poco f2 pro global) that came with the phone.
battery is at 98%. Phone just turned on for the first time. It's asking me to login to my mi account to unlock my phone. However, it cannot verify the password because there is no network connection. Wifi is not working, and there is no way of setting the sim settings until my phone is unlocked.
So, now i need to understand why the wifi is not working.
This is seriously the strangest thing i've encountered with phones. just doesn't make sense at all
ok. Just got my phone unlocked. However, phone keeps powering off during first setup. Phone is still highly unstable and the wifi doesn't seem to work well. The phone is at the moment useless. It's too unstable to use as a daily driver. Hopefully this will get better. Does anyone know why the wifi doesn't seem to work. seems to be a problem in all modes (rescue, and normal phone
edit: phone just turned off again while setting the pincode.
edit2: just updated with a new version of miui, wifi is still a problem, and phone turned off during updating all the system apps. Really not sure why this phone is so unstable now.
Ok, still an unstable phone. Seems like WIFI Bluetooth and usb connection don't work.
Does anyone know if it might be a loose cable that i need to reseat? Does it sound like a certain chip that needs to be replaced?

From the symptoms described above, it seems that your F2 pro has soldering problems with the SoC (system on chip) which is basically reballing the cpu
Dear All,
Good evening, I am writing to seek help on a critical situation I am in.
I own a Poco F2 Pro Global Version , as it came from the factory, the updates have been happening. It has stock ROM with latest updates.
Yesterday evening while the phone was getting a call, it rebooted once and a second time. Thereafter it is stuck in a boot loop.
It comes to Poco logo then Miui Logo and reboots or stays on Miui Logo.
It is worth noting that the seliei pop up camera is half stuck out .
It is extremely critical for me to get access to the phone data and specially some authentication apps. Without these I may be at a grave risk .
Bootloader is locked.
I have tried the below steps.
1. Reboot several times.
2. Boot into Fastboot and try to restore the OS via a flash file, but the same fails as bootloader is locked.
3. I have Miui Recovery 5 installed.
4. Tried to open the back, leave the battery disconnected for a few hours and try the above again.
5. I have even disconnected the selfie pop up camera thinking it may have been a hardware issue.
6. I have rebooted innumerable times.
7. When I attempt boot in safe mode, the boot up animation and sound comes and then just simply freezes on Miui logo.
It is my humble request, is there anyone who had a similar experience or has had success to revive their device with data and apps intact, please please reply to my post. This is really critical for me otherwise I would not have bothered anyone here.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
If it's still under warranty, send it.
Otherwise not much to try since the bootloader is locked.
The only thing done in your case is to erase the data from the recovery, without being sure that it will work.
I understand that your data is important.
Sounds more like a HW problem than a SW problem.

Hi Noss8, Unfortunately the hardware and software warranties are over.
I have seen some videos on youtube where the bootloader unlocks without erasing the data., but I think that is exclusive to MTK processors.
I am at a total loss of choices how to handle this as the data is extremely critical, I know I learned a lesson to make backups more frequently.

Yep, only for Mediatek Socs.
Sending to a repair center or replacement motherboard or flash in EDL mode = data loss.
Or find a nice qualified repairman who will try to recover your data, which is not obvious.
Not using Mi cloud on the phone?
EDIT:
I forgot to specify that if you have a security on the lock screen (surely the case) your data is encrypted, which makes their recovery impossible.
Exept maybe by the CIA, KGB, MOSSAD, DGSE, etc..

Indeed in this case.
It is for this reason that I transfer my photos as quickly as possible to my PC and to a cloud from the PC (already had a hard drive which failed, served as a lesson).
