Question I'm new to custom ROM's and I have a question. - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

Greetings everybody,
I've been using my X3 Pro (Global) for 2 months and I'm seriously considering to install a custom ROM. I'm concerned the custom ROM will seriously hinder my benchmarks. I only play COD Mobile and I don't want to experience a drop in performance. I got 1009 on single core and 2901 on multi in Geekbench, and I just saw a video where an X3 device running a custom ROM scored 2300 in multi. That's a 600 score difference!
link to the video:
Thank you in advance.
Update:
after the MIUI 14.0.3 update, the benchmarks changed to 980, 2740, respectively.

it's nice to know that you want use custom rom. As miui is not properly optimized for good gaming experience you can use custom rom to make your gaming experience better.
I suggest you to try evolution rom. As it provides large customization options and can give you a great experience while gaming.

Install custom Kernel like NoGravity and you can tweak your custom ROM to get maximized Benchmark scores.
Not like that will result in better FPS in games because your phone will throttle...

i have tried trip os rom,i found tat one his rom the 3d score is so high which is 16xx compare to sense rom or official miui rom which only 12xx,can anybody explain something about this things?
Benchmarks don't matter. I suggest you don't live by them.
Benchmark does not work on double core phones

stock OS vs Custom OS

Okay so basically what I have found out is it seems that on all custom roms the Android system is using like 1gb of ram just by itsself after about maybe 2 to 3 hours on every rom. And stock only uses like 770 or lower in that time. So based off your guys personal opinions which has better performance. That's all that matters to me.
Performance is great on both but, since stock is well optimized, it gives it the lead
Stock ROM got more inbuilt features then custom ROMs. If you want more UI customization, then custom ROMs are best. Also as much as I realised it's faster too. Moreover custom ROMs camera is nothing compared to stock EMUI.
For now, stock remains the better option if you care about camera and battery

Discussion about performance in the G4 Plus

Hello, today I wanted to share with you the method I used to squeeze some performance and battery life out of the G4 Plus. It was pretty easy actually.
I had an Idea. Since the Resurrected Kernel included in RR N is the most fluid and optimized Kernel I could find for the G4 Plus, and Lineage OS 14.1 is the most lightweight ROM for the device, why not combine those too and get the perfect setup?
So I made a clean install of Lineage OS 14.1 with Mini opengapps, restored the boot.img from my previous RR N backup and selected the smartassv2 kernel governor in Kernel Adiutor that I also used in RR N. The ROM was extremely fast and smooth, so I decided to benchmark it. 50197 in AnTuTu! I still feel like the device can do more, so I think we should all expose our ideas on this thread an make the best setup for the G4 Plus in terms of fluidity, performance and battery life.
@corlatemanuel there are several threads about best rom, which kernel/rom combination and performance comparisons with benchmarks already:

So please share your feedback there, especially in the last thread to compare with all the other setups :good:

PUBG performance : Stock ROM v/s Custom ROMs

Hey,
I'm using stock Realme 5 pro 6/64 GB variant. PUBG performance with the Stock Rom is pretty good but I wanted to ask if it gets better in Custom Roms?
If you look at benchmarks my 4/64 version RMQ reaches 180-190k antutu score on stock and 200-220k on PE+/LOS. On paper custom rom is better. But in fact, no idea. I'm not a mobile gamer. Sorry. These are all the examples I could come up with.
Coming From Realme 3 to Realme 5 Pro.
I have never used any high end device so for me PUBG performance can't get any better. I use PUB GFX Tool for smooth + Extreme FPS. Works great for me on stock rom.

POCO X3 NFC CUSTOM ROM

Hi guys. Im looking for the best CUSTOM ROM for my poco px3. Im still confuse which of them im going to pick. The reason why is i used my phone as for gaming, hard gaming, streaming mostly for mobile legends. Any suggestion for a rom that im going to choose. I WANT SMOOTHEST and COOL system pref. thanks in advance.
PS: can i change the kernel? which kernel should i choose. no worries for battery
I'm looking for a ROM and Kernel that can push the maximum framerates in games.
I don't care about battery life and overheating (I'll use cooling fan) or anything else.
Which ROM is the best for this?
And should I use any apps/mods that boost the games (Magnetar, FDE.AI, etc.)?
