Hey there! This thread is just to introduce yourself. You may want to check out the Realme 5 Pro section and ask your question there, though I'm not sure what is meant by 'auto charging icon'. Make sure to be specific on technical details when posting your question.

Ok.. What I mean was if you unplugged the charger the charging icon was still there.. But if I turn off the phone then connect it to the pc then I turn on the phone the charging icon problem was fix but if I restart it the problem goes back.....thanks..
I've moved this post from Introduce yourself! What's your XDA story? to its own thread in Realme 5 Pro Questions & Answers.

Hello XDA,
I could not find a similar problem so I created a new thread.
Last night I was finally able to update my Galaxy Note GT-N7000 VIA Kies from 2.3.6 to 4.0.0 on my Macbook Pro. Exciting!
Then it happened, Kies suggested that I update the firmware on my device. I did, the download froze, Kies froze, the joy was gone.
I tried countless times to reconnect my device and start over but the Note would not connect VIA Kies. It just said connecting over and over. After spending much time I gave up and went to bed having put my phone on charge.
3 hours after I woke up my phone was fully charged. (STILL) Then it was not, now my phone is constantly going from charge (when its not even plugged in) to not charged. Dead, then fully powered. It continues to spam me the whole time with my batteries current state.
Its an international model in the US so theres no support.
How can I fix it? Hard Reset? Throw to the wall? Paperweight? Or XDA Magic?
If you ask this in the device specific forum, you will get a more accurate and helpful answer...

How can I do that?
Most importantly, I am posting somewhere public in regards to questions that other people have posted problems with devices and received positive or informative feedback.
Is this not the proper place? Sorry I am new.
I never said this isn't the proper place...you will receive help here, but most of them will be generic in nature...
If you ask the same question, in the q&a section of galaxy note subforum, you will receive a more positive response (provided you did your searching beforehand, else most of them will just troll you)...
I do not know the exact details with regards to galaxy note...
But you can try flashing a new stock rom, or a custom rom...
(This ^ is generic help)

Here is the galaxy note q&a subforum...
Though I still insist you search around in the q&a as well as the general section, before making a new thread...

first off, this is the general section, questions go into q&a. secondly, if you asked that question in the development forums, they would run you out. literally. finally, no. you would have to change them back.

Hey, Thanks for the reply and being harsh. I expected a little soft reply if not anything. Thats what I wanted to know, how do you change it back to Flat look ui. I am sorry if I conveyed anything wrong.
I already googled for solutions, read some forums on how to fix the problem, watched videos on youtube done all of it so i thought that the problem was the battery so i went ahead and bought a new battery, got it today and put it in on my tablet and on my surprise still it wont turn on or charge.
anyone know what might be the problem?

Thank you,, and i did registered.. Hope someone might know the problems coz im tired of trying all the "fix" that i read.
First of all, i'm following the site couple months now,but just registered today so im glad to become part of the community
ok,soo i have this problem that i dont have a power button( defective so i opened the device and cut it off) and i made the mistake to remove my battery but now even if i plug the charger to do the restart trick (quickly remove and replace battery on phone) as i did couple times before to power on, now nothing happens!
Im not sure if it is the battery that died, the usb port, the screen , or if it has something to do with the button i removed
PS: I ve done this couple times before but after some tries it would recognize the battery and show the icon for "charging mode" , but this time after many tries nothing happens :'(
PLS HELP!!<3

It's hard to guess what exact problem you have with which device/ROM/version but based on your previous post in this XDA Assist area I'm guessing you are referring to an LG G2 and, as previously suggested, you should ask your question with all relevant details in the LG G2 Q&A forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/help. That said, unless you have a screenshot or a specific description of what happens under which exact circumstances I'm not sure anybody will be able to advise you.
Once again, good luck!
