Hi All,
I am looking for some guidance to root my Samsung Tab Plus GT-P-6200L
Android ver. 4.0.4, Basebrand Ver. P6200LUBLP.
Please let me know how can I root the same.
Tried searching in the forum but not able to find anything on the same.

Guys , I just bought a new HCL me u2 tab ......
Its a pretty good Indian tab with descent specs at just jittle above Rs 5000
But nothing is complete without rooting for Hardcore user like me ..
I tried all the available steps to root till now ! ! ! .... and nothing worked so far !!!!
I request those genius developers out there to help me with this.
once again I've tried all common methods out there so don't bother with it !
I haven't tried manual rooting though because i don't know how to do it !
please help guys

Dear Sir,
I used that program. But after that i have error
" Unfortunately. LAUNCHER HAS STOPPED"
not working my tab now.
Can you give link of original rom or Update for Me U2

are you using an external launcher ? ?
If so, deleting it will solve the problem.
On using the unlockroot, you have to use the pro version ! !
currently there are no roms available for u2
i'm also waiting for a custom recovery and rom

Hi friend.
i have downloaded the ROM for ME U2 from hcl website.
But while updating it is showing assert failed ! less_than_int(1354949322. getprop("ro.build.date.utc"))
error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted
Any solution ?

Since my device not support Huawei E392 modem, I try to copy this function to my device from any device what i can find.

This files is a init scripts, which determine device's boot.
They contain parameters of radio (3G modem) subsystem, which needed to me.

Hi, xda forum!
I recently fullbricked my Star S5 while flashing the wrong ROM...
Now I get the error:
BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032)
[EMI] Enable DRAM Failed!
So I did some research around in the xda-forum and found this solution:

There is no way to unbrick fullbricked devices with downloaded "original" ROMs.
The Factory-ROM has to be extracted right from an original device, the Star S5 MTK6589 in my case. (No custom roms or firmwares!)
So I'm asking you for help.
Would someone please upload/extract his or her ROM for me, so I can unbrick my device? (via Flashtool)

Flash the rom from STAR S5 - Update 05/15 : http :// www . needrom . com /mobile /star-s5-2/
with a flashtool version from at least v3.13 like this one : www . mediafire . com /?h65b1avcfimoxcb
(please remove the blankspace from the url, i can't put an external url, new on this forum )
It should work without any problem, i also had the problem and now my phone is working again.
