Hi there,
recently I purchased the obove mentioned Smartphone.
Its my first Samsung and I was quite scared by the encroaching behavior of OneUI, paired with Google this a no Go.
I heard, that Samsung has locked my Phone very well, so please kann you give a Guide how to get LineageOS on this Phone.
Btw. i live in Germany and i wonder how I came to an US Version of the S10e .....
Thx a lot in advance
If it's the Snapdragon SOC the bootloader is likely locked.
The Samsung UI is extremely customizable. Galaxy store, choose a theme (the native high contrast one works well), then free icon pack, then choose whatever wallpaper you want.
Turn on dark mode.
Get the Good Lock family of apps especially One Handed Operation Plus and these:

All Samsung's should be optimized. I use most of the Samsung apps instead of Google except for gmail and gmaps. Google play Services is normally temporarily disabled unless I need it as is Playstore. It increases speed and reduces battery usage.
Disable global power management and deal with power hogs on a case by case basis. Use app settings first and either Package Disabler or adb edits to take out the trash. Don't go too nuts, dependencies! Most of the small Samsung system apps should be left alone as many provide functionality and appearance enhancements for the UI, they use very little resources.
Disable Bixby and disable the cloud crap if you don't use it. Battery hogs. Get a V30 rated SD card like a Sandisk Extreme and use it as the data drive, all critical data goes here, then back that up.
A stock N10+ (Pie) tricked out as described.
Thank you for the Answer.
But thats not what I had in Mind. I want to get rid of all the Samsungness' Samsung is calling more home than Google. For privacy reasons, I wont use Phone that way.
Btw.
Its a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with 8 Cores

Use a firewall to lock it down. Bixby is the worst in that respect, read its EULA for fun, it's nasty.
If it's using the Snapdragon chipset loading a custom rom probably isn't doable. If it's the Exynos chipset you can.
I used Android Debloater and AdAway. Now i'm feeling much better with the phone
Thx

Hi everyone!
Today I've created a mockup of my own idea: A Quick Settings interface for Wear!
As lots of other users out there, I hate to scroll 5-6 times to finally turn on airplane mode when I want to use my smartwatch as a watch only. This would be a much better and of course, faster option to turn settings on- and off quickly with only one slide...
Maybe we could add Location and theather mode to the bottom line, but as I see, three icons would do the job.

I hope if we create a bit of a hype Google will consider creating something like this in the M edition of Android Wear...
Anyway... Do you like the idea?
Looks cool. Doesnt 5.1.1 already have something similar?
No, it does not. This is especially annoying because you cannot use WiFi directly without putting the device in airplane mode first.
This is awesome and would be incredibly useful for me.

Thanks! Feel free to repost on other forums! I hope if we reach out enough users Google would implement it in the next update

Why would you want to do this? Airplane mode disables interaction in the google apps. If you want to force wifi, better to turn bluetooth off on your phone.
The reason is if you want to use an app online. For instance, if you need a web browser or es file explorer on your watch. Bluetooth has no bearing. The system does not allow user apps to go online. There are two solutions (not one like I said before).
1, enable airplane mode, and then enable and connect to WiFi.
2, Put the app you want to have WiFi access in the system folder (I think both priv-app and app work).
Of course both have drawbacks, but that is the way it is right?

Apparently, like a lot of other solutions that have been found in android wear, there's an unofficial way to do things.
See web browser for a.w.
Looks awesome, maybe I'm slowly considering to get one of these petting watches
Yes please.
I like it ? should really be in it
yes please! I don't understand why google insists on coming up with a more "watch specific" interface for Wear, when scaling down vanilla android would have been a more familiar experience: pull down for toggles, swipe left/right to access your screens where you can deploy icons for quick launch apps, or one screen dedicated to notifications ala samsungs' touchwiz widgets page? I would pay for a mini version of Nova launcher on my watch.
Searching around for a guide or better yet app to remove all the phone files from my p900. I would think it might benefit from that stuff not loading and running when its useless. Any ideas or comments would be appreciated.
Forgot to mention running stock lollypop 5.0.2 by Civato full Samsung rom.
There are many app removers on Google Play
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=app remover&c=apps&hl=en
Yes there are app removers. Have not found anything that will remove/kill phone services. Freezing them in titanium doesn't seem to stop them either. I was hoping someone knew what files and apks to safely remove.

I wonder why you believe there are phone services running in a Wifi model SM-P900. Even in a LTE tablet , all phone apps are disable.
This is an example from my LTE tablet from TMobile, Phone app is disable to prevent users use a LTE tablet as a phone.
Look at your Application Manager--> All, you will see Phone app is disable.

Even if you want to use LTE tablet as a phone, a modem must be installed and voice call must be enable in the firmware

If you look at running apps and services with an app like say fmr memory I think its called. You will see phone related apps running. I use it to find, tweak and turn off things I don't use or need with Titanium.

You should post a snapshot of processed of those you think phone related apps; otherwise it's very hard to answer a general question
regarding phone activities in a Wifi Note Pro.
My LTE doesn't have any activities of phone services when checking all running apps.
Deleted com.phone.android and it no longer runs. Many task apps show more detail on what is actually running on your system.
A small group of S7 Edge users are reporting poor battery life after updating to 7.0. I took a disable list for a T-Mobile S7 Edge, and applied it, where applicable, to my G-935F. I do not guarantee better battery life. Use at your own risk. Especially on non "F" devices. This is basically barebone. Contributions to this list are encouraged.

Also, I used EZ Disabler. Just import the provided xml file.

There happens to be an option to re-enable apps. I simply disabled everything that I safely could, because there was no question concerning which packages could be enabled. This way, you can go through and turn on the apps you want to use, and leave the rest off. This reduces the risk of people bootlooping their devices.
Of course if you don't like my list, you can always go through one by one and pray you don't break anything.

Woooow, how is it? is it nice?
wow!

I want to change my old S7 and this Gundam looks perfect!
Phone Looks amazing its solid fast good display all app i installed worked camera is solid battery live is really good right now one day charge full 7 am regular usage during the day and had about 50% by 10 pm. Using it for about 4 days right now one main default issue i have i cant change the messenger keeps switching to the default when i receive a group message they come in an individual person going to give it another 4 weeks when there is more Reno Ace update and mods before i start tinkering with it. Shockingly fast charge is 100% true 30min or less the phone charging doesn't feel hot playing games is solid emulated some ngc, wii, psp games smooth.
Share stock gundam wallpapers and themes :highfive:
Great phone to have, with annoying BLOATWARES!
Got mine last Dec.11, imported it from China to UAE thru Amazon. Since this phone came from China, some apps are in Chinese so I ask the seller to sideload it with Google Services. Just like any other phone, it has some bloatwares installed. I managed to remove Breeno, default SMS app, default browser thru adb command line. I'm afraid to remove the theme app as I might lose the default Gundam theme. Till this date though, I still couldn't uninstall App Market. It gives me "Failure [DELETE_FAILED_INTERNAL_ERROR] " message. This annoys me whenever I click an app link, the default Oppo App Martket pops-up instead of Google Playstore.
I like the back cover. It's like a laminated metal if you will. That's why I suggest to put a clear case rather than that of its free red case (although that case cool is too!).
Since I believe only 30,000 will be released, I want to know my serial release no. I can't figure out my release no. on the S/N printed on the box.
Better off to keep it as a collector's item than use it as your main phone
Many people complaint about hot and lagging in APP/game in MIUI even if the spec for their device is good in paper.
The reason here very likely is MIUI roms restricting almost all APP/game in standard usage. (eg. directly clicking the game icon from the launcher)
If you want to have a better experience, but still want to stay with MIUI, here's a simple illustrated guide to Try.
(Not guaranteed definite improvement, some APP/game are poorly designed and not optimized)
Root is not needed. Guide for newbies. Feature offered by MIUI.
If you are in MIUI roms, start your APP/game using the built-in "Game Turbo". (Don't know which MIUI version it starts having this)
It will let the APP/game run smoother and (s)lower heat generation. (not "no heat", just "(s)lower", a bit )
2 places to find "Game Turbo" setting
1A) In settings, find and click "Special features"
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Next, click "Game Turbo"
1B) Press the "Security" app [It may ask to agree or not data collecting, I always denied, but you can still proceed]
Next scroll down and find "Game Turbo"
2) In the "Game Turbo" app
3) Press "+" to add APP/game
4) Add any APP/game you want it to run better. (I debloated intensively, and did not install much apps, so not much in the list, but you can see Magisk is inside)
End note
So if you think any APP/game is not running smooth enough in MIUI, first try adding it in the game turbo. (even Youtube can be placed inside)
Here's someone with his Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G comparing between standard and game-turbo using Geekbench. (Source)
Standard test (not in Game mode)
Game turbo test (Adding Geekbench app inside)
Obvious improvement outcome.
Wrote this in POCO X3 pro, but it's not limited to this device, as long as the MIUI has this option.
Otherwise you can use Custom Roms and kernels.
Last note
Always keep in mind that everything comes at a price, you increase performance, you may loose more battery charge.
And I don't recommend using while charging. The device will be very hot and bad to your battery in long term. Heat will damage many part of the phone, and can even burn you. (Literally)
If you are wealthy enough to change your phone so frequently that you don't even want to concern the long term damage to phones, then forget about it and go for the TOP. (And coffee for me )
You can copy/paste with XDA thread as source.
Nice one, tho you can just cut it all of and say: put your desired apps into game turbo
