I searched for a tripod adapter (P7 to standard tripod 1/4") and isolated most of them to three. Please see the image below. I'm leaning toward the Manbili due to its high ratings in the reviews and its dimensions:

Are there other adapters I should consider? All comments positive or negative are welcome, especially about the Manbily.
I bought a Magsafe case, and a Magsafe tripod mount, and never looked back. Magsafe accessories on Pixel are fantastic
Keep in mind that those clamp style holders probably won't be able to hold the phone in the middle. I have one from a previous phone and with the P7P it is kind of off balance since it needs to hold it from one side. The power and volume buttons are in the middle of the phone and the camera bump in on the side. So if you go with one like this make sure that the stand is strong enough to hold it like that.
I have 3 clamp style ones, a relatively expensive Manfrotto one, a good solid machined aluminium one and a cheap 8 quid Amazon thing and i use the amazon one more than anything which is a bit bonkers putting an expensive device in a £8 plastic clamp.
I don't have problems with stability but i use a low Manfotto tripod where the legs open very wide and very low https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0152WXZX4/
What is the maker & model of your "cheap 8 quid Amazon thing" (curious minds want to know...)

Do any of you have problems with the clamp pressing the buttons on the side of the P7P?
My thanks to all who replied! I popped for Ulanzi's top model.

So I said i would review this case once I got it so here it goes.
So i just received my Casecrown case for my TP. On first impression it seems nice made sturdy. The "top" is nice and soft where as the "bottom" is sturdy and firm.
The zipper does not go all the way around

I guess that's a good thing so the TP does not fall out?
The inside is nice and soft and I cant see anything scratching the TP.
The first thing I did not like was that the inside pocket does not have a zipper or something to close it. I can see something slipping out and scratching the TP if there was to much moment.
The next thing is the TP does not fit "like a glove". There is some extra room and i have tried it out.. the TP slides a little. Not as much as I thought it would from looking at it but it does slid.
Now for one of the mail reason I bought it, the built in tilt. It actually works good not great.. but good! It holds the TP at a good angle for typing. I opened up memos and tried it our for about 5 paragraphs and the material holds the TP in place and the angle is nice. Now i would like it a little high to be perfect but its really not that bad.
The picture does not really do it justice... but trust me.. you can type on it with no real problem. and it wayyyyy better then laying it flat.
So all in all this is a OK case. I rate
quality = 5 of 10
look = 6 of 10
fell = 6 of 10
protection = 4 of 10
I really only like it because of the slant built in. But I think once I get some like this http://www.stealtharmor.com/store/touchpad-black-leather.html on my TP this case will be perfect for just carrying it around.

Sorry i should have paid more attention. Thanks for moving it.
Hi All.
I just wanted to share my own personal review of this case i picked up from ebay. I am in no way affiliated with the company that designs or produces these at all.
The case i got was this one here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/400463636770?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

It comes with a dual layer, the first layer is a thick plastic/rubber blend which fits perfectly snug around the outside of the phone. The second layer is then a very rugged strong hard plastic, which holds very firm over the plastic/rubber casing.
There are firm ridged edges which fit PERFECTLY into your hand and allow for AMAZING grip. I can honestly say, out of all the phones and all of the cases i have had in my time, this one feels fantastic to hold.
To top it all off, the case comes with an incredible kick-stand, to allow the phone to sit up-right. This is perfect for my work situation, where the phone can sit infront of me while using my work PC (as i am currently doing right now) and i can see the phones display facing me. This helps dramatically with seeing who is calling face on, rather than from a laying down angle which can obscure vision at most times.
I give this case a solid 9.5 out of 10. I cannot find fault with it, apart from the fact that to get the phone OUT of the case, it is slightly difficult, due to its very snug fitting (which is the way its designed to protect from damage)
I do believe it also comes in a variety of colours on ebay. However i am a very big fan of black and thats what i went with. For its price, it is almost a steal. (RED WHITE BLUE PURPLE GREEN - the WHOLE RANGE includes SQUARE and LINES versions of each colour... AMAZING, i can only vouch for the Square ones myself
I hope this helps with anyone who has/wants to buy an S4 but are worried about any kind of damage to the phone. This case will certainly hold strong in many different conditions.
Cheers
I've been looking for a phone stand for quite some time now. Would really appreciate suggestions or recommendations of stands people have used.
Things I am looking for:
Can hold N4 in portrait and landscape
Minimal coverage of the entire front
Good cable management or built in microUSB charger
Sturdy construction
A lightweight designed stand is what I'm looking for. Let me know if you find anything... I'm new to Nexus and have to replace my iPhone gear.
Are you guys open to diy or strictly something professionally designed?

I was looking for the same thing for my newly bought Nexus 4.
I've searched ebay and didn't find anything that looks decent to be honest.
The most beatiful / pratical thing I've found is this LG Wireless charger: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LG-WCD-80...51188?pt=Battery_Chargers&hash=item3a7fa87b34

}
But the price is simply obnoxious.
Then there is this ones:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sync-Dock...ories_MobilePhoneChargers&hash=item3cd011bd82
Which seem very.. meh. Plastic thing.
Now that first one is sexy! I'd personally be a bit wary of the price and location of the item but if someone gets one and works legit I'd love to know.
Your 2nd link is a charger stand I used with my old LG 2x, they are very good, I had 2 of them (one for work one for home). :good:
I've got two of the second one. Bought off Amazon. Work fine but ensure that they supply the non-case insert adapter as the first one I purchased didn
't come with one. Phone still charges but is slightly loose in the cradle.

I would say pro design, I'm hoping to have something slick in appearance.
___________
The two images posted look pretty good. Too bad the top one is so expensive and out of the price range I was thinking about spending on a stand. Thanks for the suggestions though.
Just bought this ebay case from ebay seller yellowknife_cable. Not a very friendly seller BTW and I think they are doing a switch and bait. They are using another product's images but the item they actually sell are just bad, if not one of the worse copies I've seen.

If you look at the camera cut out, it is way off centered and is touching the top lens of the camera. This prevents that portion of the case to touch the back of the phone and is slight lifted off. I'm not sure who designed this but it's clear it was not test fitted and probably was based off some incorrect schematic of the note 4. The other issue is the bottom part of the phone doesn't fit well and exposes part of the phone's bezel. I've tried putting it on from the bottom first but this doesn't help. Also this case is not ultra thin as they advertise. This case is not expensive but you can find a lot more better fitting case than this so don't waste your time. And don't waste time with this seller. They want you to drive to USPS, pay for your own shipping first, then they refund and reimburse you for return shipping after they determine it's defective. For $6 dollars, who would want to go to the trouble. It's just a waste of time overall.
I sent them this image and they still think it's not defective. Really? Again, dont waste your time with this seller.

Here are some images of what they posted on their listing. Clearly false advertising.
Sorry to say but even in the pictures from the "ad" the case looks like crap. When it comes to my phone I'd prefer to just buy some quality case instead of some random crap. Can find quality Spigen cases for 20 bucks.
I wouldn't use a £4 case on a £500 phone. I suppose with cases you really get what you pay for.
Right! For 15€ you could buy the original Samsung protective case. Looks great fits perfect and the protection is good i think. I've the blue and the silver one
you can get the OEM samsung one for 10 bucks on amazon i dont understand why people buy garbage off ebay from asia .. the OEM is made specifically for the phone all the holes line up and the buttons are perfect
Looking for a VR headset that works well with the 6P. Does any one have any recommendations?
While there are certainly better ones out there, I have the View-Master and it works great with the 6P. A solid quality headset for the money.
Bought a few of the viewmasters to give out as Xmas gifts. Found them too small... no room if you wear glasses or have a wide face. Also was not a fan of the phone grip mechanism which seems to put a lot of pressure on the phone.
After getting a couple ofbthe Google Star wars cardboards, the viewmasters were returned. No issues with the standard cardboard, and I can wear my specs.
saw this deal and remembered seeing this thread.

This is one of the ones I have and my only real complaint is that on mine, the clasp to shut it likes to undo itself. Isn't such a big deal since you are literally holding it with your hands anyway.
FTR, you are -NOT- buying this to use the official mattel "viewmaster experience packs", they are a stupid rip-off, you are buying it just because its freaking awesome and works with any other cardboard app.
Thanks for the replies. I should've mentioned that I'm buying from Canada. Looking for something that won't require me to hold. It seems that I would need to spend around $40 on amazon to get something decent otherwise I'll get a Google Cardboard.

There's my review of the Shinecon VR. Ordered from China so shipping was free (at least for my address in US). Noteworthy to mention that you can't use it with a case on the 6P, but I don't regret buying it at all. Great headset. Any questions, post in the review thread and I'll get to it!
I'm really curious about VR. I have the Supcase Unicorn Beetle so it is a little bigger of a case. Are there any, or which VR sets work with the case still on the phone?
