So I got my phone today and I upgraded it to lollipop. I went to at&t store to get a nano sim card and everything went smooth. except for I can't get LTE on my phone and when I go to the Preferred network type. I don't see an LTE option. Sometimes I see H+ but other time I see 4G. Is that LTE for AT&T ?

When you got your sim from AT&T did you use your existing number or get a new number on your account? Did they use the IMEI number on the box? Thanks.
hi guys,
i'm Bilal from Morocco, about a year ago, i bought a nexus 5 i was thinking that's the D821 model of my nexus 5, because when i put my SIM card on my phone it's working.
recently i bought a 4G SIM card and i put it on my phone and it's works very well but when i want to use it to connect the 4G i can't, because my carrier has 3 and 20 bands and my nexus 5 D820 not supports those bands !
please help me to enable LTE band 3 or 20 on my D820 model.

So I was seduced by this phone, I was hesitating between this one and the Xiaomi Redmi plus. The Redmi was a bit too big to fit well in my belt holster. The thing is, I didn't know that much about network requirements. I thought that if I have LTE, I'm all good, but I need 2G or 3G for calls !!!
I'm in Canada. Zero support for 3G, I then tested a few carriers and Rogers/Fido support the same 2G as my phone, so now I can make calls but I don't have LTE tower from Rogers here that is compatible with my phone (Band 7 only), so I'm stuck in 2G for data. I have full LTE speed with Bell, but no phone calls. I'd rather stay with Bell, but I need to activate VoLTE, the option is not there. I'd like to confirm that I can flash my phone with the patch (ref here https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/themes-apps/enable-volte-flashable-nougat-phone-t3693152). Or should I wait for Oreo which should get to the phone in May ?

No. I have a Pixel 4 XL and it still shows lte. Maybe because of your service provider?
Thanks @Tulsadiver!
I don't know, but today is second day with that

With providers coming out with 5G they might want a way for you to distinguish between 4G and 5G.
Hi All, I'm using Moto G 5G phone since its launch. But that time 5G was not available in India. Now it has been launched and working in other phones. But don't know why its not working in my phone. In the settings itself it doesn't show the option to select 5G network. Also the phone is out of warranty so can't claim that this phone is not 5G supported. Btw can anyone pls tell me that 5G is working on their Moto G 5G. What shall I do. I don'y see any new update as well. I'm on Android 11. I tried using my sim in other mobile and 5G is working on my sim. So no issues with sim also.
Any suggestions how to get 5G in my phone? Any what to check if there are any hardware issues in the 5G module or if its not there or faulty?

If you have Jio as your carrier, you will likely not ever get 5G to work.
