Hi,
Is there a setting that I missed about setting photos/video filename? All my photo filenames are using UTC time instead of local timezone in which case is +7.
Thx

Hello,
Is your time / zone set to automatic in Settings > system > Date & time ?
Do you use an app to spoof your location perhaps?
Good luck,
Sébastien.
Hi Sébastien,
Under time setting, there are 3 toggle-able settings.
Set time automatically
Set time zone automatically
Use location to set time zone
Previously, I had these set at ON, in other words automatic.
After I off them, restarted the phone. the result is still the same, UTC time.

Does it show your time zone correctly under System Settings?

Hi TheMystic,
When everything set to On, my Pixel shows correct time.
The weird thing is, the time recorded in the EXIF is correct while the time used by the filename is wrong. You could see the difference between EXIF time and PXL filename is 7 hours (attached picture).
What about your Pixel?

I don't have a Pixel.
Can you install another camera app and see if you have the same problem? Try this.
Also delete the data of your stock camera app from system settings and see if that helps.
Filename generated by the Secure Camera app is using the local timezone.
Not google camera app though.

I didn't understand.
Is the exif data as well as filenames fine on files captured by the Secure Camera? Then we can conclude the problem is with the stock camera app.
Try deleting app data of stock camera app and see if that helps.

The stock weather widget never auto-refreshes even though I have that option checked.
Figure there's nothing I can do about it but use another widget, just wanted to note it here so others know they are not alone with this issue.
what checkbox? touch the widget to bring up the app. then do menu>settings. now choose auto refresh. mine is set to one hour and is working fine.

OK, so it's a radio button instead of a checkbox
I have it set to auto-refresh every hour and it doesn't work for me.
Good to know it works for someone though..
do you have auto sync and background data turned on?

Yes, it's on.
So I noticed today it is refreshing against the current location however the location is not changing as I move around. Is that what you are saying?
My stock (accuweather) app is also auto-refreshing. I've never had a problem with it.
But my stock news (ap mobile) only just tonight started to auto-refresh. Right after I changed it from 5-second auto-scroll to 10-second auto-scroll. And while now it auto-refreshes, it no longer auto-scrolls.
Both apps have always been set to auto refresh.
I have the same issue on my original GSII. I've removed a lot of stock apps (safe ones, of course). But perhaps one contributes to/interacts with the refresh in some way? Any ideas?
Hello all oneplus owners
well I have a problem where the time shown in some places like system update or whatsapp or my bank app is not correct, although the time shown in notification bar and widgets is correct as you can see on the screen added. I'm on the 38R build, fully stock, all date and time settings set to auto- network provided (and are correct in the settings)
Hope to get a solution
I've had lots of issues with network-provided time in the past. Or let me rephrase; the carrier seems unable to set the timezone correctly across the base stations. Maybe that's what you're seeing too, although it doesn't account to why the timezone obviously is correct in your system clock. Please try manual time instead of network-provided to check if it does cause the issue, make sure you reboot after applying the setting just to be on the safe side.

Hi
The way I've resolved my issue, was that I disabled my weather in my app which caused it to have a knock on effect to the time zone issue.
So I renabled it and it worked...
Check your disabled apps, you might have disabled it accidentally

Is your Location set to High Accuracy?
Having exactly the same problem since yesterday. I turned off travel mode which seemed to fix the issue on my home screen but it still seems to affect the lock screen, however it's not all the time.

yes brother
we have same problem
also blink feed not working
i don't know maybe because that issue
I don't use blink feed so can't comment there. No HTC apps have updated recently though as far as I'm aware, so it can't be an update problem.
I have a very annoying issue with my Oppo Find X2 Pro and that is the location doesn't change. The weather app stays on the area that I am originally located and the camera watermark doesn't show location.
I have auto location turned on in settings and the setting for improved location and they don't do anything.
Any help appreciated please

I had a weird issue for awhile there where every time I restarted the phone, it would report that the location setting was turned off and I had to turn it back on. Strangely this issue seems to have fixed itself with no change on my behalf!
The only thing I can suggest for your issue is to download the 'GPS Status' app which will download updated GPS data. Not sure if this will help as just a one off or on-going but worth a try.

Thankyou, I will try that
Hi, I have the latest stock firmware installed (12.5.2....) and use the stock camera app (because I like the colours, so I'd rather stick to it, thank you). The only issue I have with it is that every time I close and then re-open it, the HDR setting goes back to "off", even if i have set it to "auto" or "on". The 'AI" remains as I have set it.
Any ideas? Is it supposed to be like that or is this a bug?
Thank you
Seems like a bug with your device because mine stays on. Clear data of camera app and set it up again. Also make sure "Remember Last Mode Used" is set to on.
It happens to me as well, I have to set it to auto almost every time.

Do you have the "Save previous mode" set to 'ON"? This is the only way for mine to keep the HDR setting as I left it.
