Huawei Mate 9 Chinese version

Hi fellow,
I just got a Huawei Mate9 Chinese version from Shenzhen, Model MHA that when received I had upgraded to latest version as below shown.
Device Name: Huawei Mate 9
Model Number: MHA-AL00
EMUI version: 5.0,
Build number: MHA-AL00C00B244
Android version: 7.0
I am not able to use google application neither Microsoft stuff. I have tried to download the GMS pack I found advised on youtube but I was not able to find on Huawei Apps support for download.
Any advice?

Whoa! When did B244 come along? I have Chinese variant but am on B225. No indication of update yet....
GMS was installed on B225. Maybe already on yours...

1. Yes, the latest version of system software for Mate 9 Chinese version should be B225.
2. Now the GMS is in B225.
3. I found a thread about GMS and an apk for GMS Core which was shared on Google Drive. For your reference.

Typo error, it is B225
I got the play store from the internet, double click to run it pop-ups and closes immediately, as if Mate 9 is ruining a deamon agent to block google and Microsoft apps. same behavior for outlook

Uninstall your Google Play Store. Open HiApp search for Google Play Store and update.

Hi fellow,
that was perfectly done, it works great. I have downloaded GMS and it was great. one thing I am still facing with GMAIL app installed from google play, I am getting the message "Gmail is having trouble with Google Play services, please try again". emails has been downloaded but after every few clicks I keep getting the same message.

I tried to find google play service on google-play. I am iPhone user until last month my iPhone7 was stolen then I swapped to android using Mate 9 . I struggle learning Android environment now. Please indicate what app/pack should I check/install to get the Google Play service on my phone

As you can download apps from Google Play Store now, visit the URL as below to download the latest 'Google Play services'. The app is from Google Inc.

Simply download gmail app if it is not pre installed, then login with your credentials. Open play games app which would be pre installed or you can download it via play store and login with the same credentials.
Open any game and it is connected to the play games.

Does anyone know a procedure for installing the Play Store? If someone also knows how to literally change the rom, I'm willing to change it.

I had the same issue and I got it fixed by having the chinese honor 20i converted to Honor 10i global version by https://ministryofsolutions.com/ After that, Play Store comes pre-installed and other Google apps work. To convert the phone you must downgrade EMUI 10 to EMUI 9.1 using a computer with HiSuite.

To fix the Google Play Store not working problem and all bloatware chinese apps removal from Huawei Honor 20i, you must have the phone converted to Honor 10i global version. Note: Honor 20i and Honor 10i are the same phone. To have the phone converted you must first downgrade EMUI 10 to EMUI 9.1 using HiSuite installed on a computer. Then https://ministryofsolutions.com/ can convert the chinese Honor 20i to Honor 10i global version that has Google Play Store pre-installed and no chinese bloatware apps.

Lo guys.i found a link from huawei chinese forum for latest harmony for Mate 30 pro 5g..took me 3 days to dl due to low speed from server.Question how should install it?P.S .if anyone wants it inform me so ill upload it to mega or Gdrive..

Lucky you, is there a p40 pro leak also? and can you post a link to the forum?

Havent found for p40 pro..even the link for mate has disappeared from cn forum.it is uploaded on "115.com" cloud.difficult to have access on it.i did it via cn sim card i got.but my Q is how to install it??

you just install beta app and try install it from there https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/fut/

The best that can happen for the Mate 30 Pro during this 2021 is that there is a new DEAL between Google and Huawei, and so the Mate 30 Pro will be certified by Google again.
This Harmony OS is an EMUI11 OS and the serious problem is that the ecosystem of apps that depend on Google services is so huge that Huawei will NEVER be able to reach it.
In fact, Huawei has already considering the sale of the division of its 'P' and 'Mate' phones, as it did with Honor to try to save the US ban.
That is why it is best for the new Biden Administration to reach an deal with China.
Other operating systems have already tried and they have all FAILED.
Even I need to download apps for my work that I can't use if I don't have Google services installed ... and downloading them from Petal Search is absolutely worthless because they don't work without the libraries and Google Services components.

Need to use myHuawei app which is the equivalent of support on international devices, the beta app allows you to join beta programs from what I understand, the sign ups for the beta was on the forum I thought... If you have a cn device you can still get it upgraded to hos 2.0 check yt

hello, team please please I need to know how to install google service to my Huawei Y7a device. because it can't downgrade to EMUI 10.1 to 10. so I can't use the google finger app and Gapp.

Thinh here- I have the same problem- is that this Huawei Model, y7a (PPA-LX3), comes with EMUI 10.1.1.203 by default, so Googlefier does not work, as its made for 10.1.0.150 and below, and I cannot downgrade mi mother's phone cause there is not an older firmware. There's not "rolling back". And gspace does not work either. Is there any noob friendly way to get Gapps into this phone?

yes there is no firmware to rollback to. but i've been using the device for several weeks and what i identified is that you don't really need google if you need something like a playstore you can install apkpure app which have every app play store have gpace is not recommended and sometimes it gets pretty laggy on devices also if you need you tube you can set up youtube from quick app center it is like a browser version of youtube but it don't suck

Yeah, in the end I tought she's better off without google, at least privacy-wise, so I just debloated her phone and installed cool alternatives to gapps.

You can use the "special store Gspace" for add GMS and navigate to the store like an Old Huawei phone, and download all you need.

Hi. Is there any chance to get alternative ROM for Huawei Matepad DBY-W09?
Maybe Lineage OS?

I wouldn't expect a custom rom for huawei devices since I read the bootloader is locked. Btw, why isn't there a specific forum for matepad 11? Would be great so people can share tips and tutorials
