Hello from France.
When I bought this Mi Note 10 Pro from my girlfriend, the battery lasted for more than 2 days (I don't remember which version of Android and MIUI were installed at that time).
Over time, the battery life decreased, which is normal, until recently when it was less than a day.
So I changed the battery, first with a cheap Chinese one: battery life was less than a day, then with an original one: battery life is almost a day. The problem is that "AccuBattery" gave me an estimated capacity of just over 3000 mAh for both batteries (properly calibrated).
Thinking that the battery was defective, the shop (the most reliable one in France for spare parts) sent me a second original battery... but AccuBattery also estimates it at just over 3000mAh!!!
So who's the culprit???
Are all the batteries defective? (unlikely!)
Does AccuBattery provide false estimates?
Does Android 11 + MIUI 13 prevent AccuBattery from making accurate estimates?
Are the batteries okay and is it Android + MIUI that's draining the power?"
If it's the latter explanation, do you think it's more Android 11 or MIUI 13, (or both ) that's draining the battery? And in that case, which MIUI.eu ROM can I install to hope to regain good battery life? Is it possible to reinstall Android 9 or 10?
I should mention that I have already removed all bloatware and unnecessary services with ADB after returning to factory settings, and the battery still loses about 20% per night...
Anyway, thank you guys for this great forum that I just discovered. "

If you're like me and use your ChaCha all the time and can't help but notice it's incredibly poor lifetime. I have found a solution for you that does not require you to have a separate PowerBank.
Get this battery from Ebay:

And Use My CamDroid 1.5 (Lightweight ROM). Updates available regularly to flash.
Enjoy, I have already tested the 2430MAH Battery from Japan with my ROM and it works like a dream.

Sorry,i have to say that it doesn't work at all for me.
I did 3 complete cycle the moment i got the battery and then charged for over 10 hours but it still last the same as the original or even less....
I don't believe it is real number.
I have the HTC chacha extended battery (BA S570 2430MAH):
Located at the address:

It lasts me for more than 3 days in standby mode, and if i use it, it lasts for more than 2 days. pretty much better than the stock original battery. it is 2430MAH and also, doesnt heatup, no other issues. I am still very happy with it.

MPJ contacted me to try out this battery for my Verizon LG G5 (VS987) and it's been great so far. Frankly my past experiences with non OEM batteries for my LG G3 and Motorola Droid had been less than great, as the batteries never live up to their ratings and usually last half as long as they should. Based on these experiences I wasn't looking for this battery from MPJ to be much better. However, I was shockingly surprised at how well this battery preformed. It held up just as well as the original OEM battery that came with my phone and actually outperformed it slightly, although my OEM battery is 5+ months old at this point.
My results with this battery were as follows testing it through the stock charger that came with my G5:
Day 1
22H 57M - Total Battery Life
4H 33M Screen on Time
Day 2
28H 6M - Total Battery Life
3H 37M Screen on Time
Day 3
19H 1M - Total Battery Life
4H 10M Screen on Time
0H 47M Phone Call
Day 4
28H 50M - Total Battery Life
3H 17M Screen on Time
NFC does work with this spare battery as the chip is at the top of the phone.
They also offer a external charger; however I can't speak to the how fast or hot the battery charges in their external battery charger as one did not come with the battery.
I also included some photos of the battery, comparison to an OEM battery and the screenshots that show how well the battery performed in real life usage.
I've never done a review for something like this before, but the battery does hold its own for a good price. I highly recommend it.
The battery purchased from them last year for my old LG G3 was amazing and holding a charge for long, but they said they couldn’t ship batteries to my country as I was trying to order my second a few months later. I couldn't be happier to know they are available again in my country, and picked up 2 replacements for my new LG G5 in case the same thing happens ;P

So you joined only to say that? Not suspicious at all....

The original battery + external charger kit costs only 30$.. why even bother with alternatives.

The one downside is that this battery doesn't do NFC, so if you rely on that heavily you probably couldn't replace yours with this one, but it does make a good spare.

I don't know how you got the idea, but the NFC is not built-in the battery like the earlier samsung phones, it's somewhere near the rear camera on the left hand side.

I'll have to check and try it this evening. I was just going with what the listing for the battery said. I didn't try it, because of the listing and all my previous phones had the nfc in the battery, so I just assumed the G5 was this way. I have no idea where the nfc chip is. I'll post back this evening.
Edit: It does look like the nfc is at the top of the phone. Its the yellow square.

Edit 2: NFC does work with this spare battery as the chip is at the top of the phone.
Looking for a good battery suggestion,

I've fully charged overnight and am testing usage now.
UPDATE
After my earlier (today) post I updated to the latest LOS 14.1 on my Tmo S4 with that battery fully charged and started goofing around. I'm attaching a screenshot from 5 minutes ago which represents a little over 6 hours of on time. I installed and used some apps. I locked the screen to 30 minutes before shutdown. It had adaptive brightness set and was indoors the entire time.
I streamed from Spotify for about an hour. I left it on and streamed episodes of The 100 on Netflix while I took my lunch break and did some work... maybe two hours total.
Who knows how it will work out in the long run - that's the real test.
How is performance of new battery ?

Well 100% full disclosure, this S4 isn't my driver. It's kind of a test phone. I have been playing with it but essentially I've set it back to stock 4.4.4 and now have installed Lineage 14.1. No real long term use. The battery is taking a charge and seems to be holding it but other than that quickish stress test I'm not really "using" the phone.
I think with these third party ones you really just need to read the reviews and look for common failings in the negative ones. I bought the one listed above to replace the one I had for a solid three years before that eventually expanded outside of it's casing from years of recharging. I can tell you it works, it takes a licking and beyond that only time will tell.
Good luck!
I bought a Polarcell battery from a German seller on Ebay (wannsee-electronic) for over 2 months and it is working flawlessly. I have an S4 i9500 with LineageOS 14 and the battery life is better than the original battery in the ROM Touchwiz.
I am using this battery (build 2017) since since nearly a year and I am very happy with it. Battery still works flawlessly.

Here are some screenshots. Phone is now in usage for over two days. SOT is now nearly 3 housrs and 8 % left.At night I use flight mode. My phone is completely google free - so no gapps. I am using currently lineage 14.1 official. I believe with the new lineage 16.0 ROM from jdc-team battery performances will be even better.

Can you send me the link of your battery again? The link is broken.
Anyone know where to get batteries now? Seems like the unofficial ones are really bad on eBay because they're old, sadly the used ones are the best but they're pretty bad too.
edit : entirely wrong thread
This is my first post so sorry for the mistakes.
In August I changed my battery for a new one, and the experience of SOT wasn't good as i expected. Today, during the quarantine, i seach the mah available of my battery and i founded that it's 2134 mah, 23% less than the original capacity. That brings me an 3hs SOT experience in my pixel, the small version.
Two cuestions, it's normal that my battery lost 23% of its capacity in 6 months? and, 3hsSOT its a normal behaviour with 2134mah?
Again, sorry for the mistakes. Keep at home.
After seeing your post, i have generated my PIXEL (small one) bug report and checked the same battery coloumb charge.....MIne was at 2257mah which is 83% of full capacity....I also get around 3 hrs SOT when i use it from full charge to around 15-18%......If i stretch it to almost NIL, I am getting around 3.5 Hrs SOT.....I am on stock android 10 ROM.
SO for your questions 1) My phone is around 3 years old, and it lost this much battery capacity in this period. So its not normal in your case, may be yours is an old replacement battery or undercapacity off market one.
2) The SOT which you get for your battery capacity is exactly normal....

There are still some genuine replacement batteries out there, I took the leap around October '19 and it's definitely a good one.
On stock ROM the difference was perceived but not night and day, on Lineage 17 with an underclocked ElementalX though the battery life is AMAZING for a sailfish.
Check this out. One day with a lot of standby and one with intensive use.
Hello everyone
For good 6 months or so, I have noticed very poor Battery Health
I decided why not use AccuBattery and check it for myself
I was surprised to see 44% battery health (picture attached)
I understand i'm not charging it by the 20-80 rule (or 15-85 rule) due to the nature of my duties in the field
Plus I have charged it many times from an 18W Xiaomi Redmi Power Bank, as well
Keep in mind: I used to give the same rough treatment to my trusty Oneplus 6 and last time I remember, after using it for well over 18 months. The battery health was 85+%
1. What could be the issue?
2. Do I go for a battery replacement now?
3. My charge timings actually do reflect a *bad* battery health
Mine isn't much better. I started looking at battery replacement options too. To be fair though it's so low that I did wonder if Accubattery is reading one of the split cells as the full battery.
I'm pretty sure it's only reading one cell, so you'd need to double that value I assume. So 88%. Battery Guru might give better results.
Yep, battery apps don't properly diagnose 2-cell batteries like one installed in 8T (2 cells for 2250mah)
