On one of my phones, I don't see the 'Hide keyboard' button. Does anyone know how to enable this?

You see it only if you are using gestures. You don't see it if you use navigation buttons.

I found out the problem. There is the 'Hide bottom bar' option which was enabled. When I disable the option, the hide keyboard option shows up.
With the 'Hide bottom bar' disabled, there is empty space at the bottom which otherwise would be occupied by the navigation bar (if using navigation buttons).
I'm using iQOO Neo 6.

Watch this video, as I believe it will fix the problem.
The process is the same for the Note 3 and the S4, by the way.

I don't think this is a default notification.
You can find all default notifications here http://eguides.sprint.com/support/e.../samsung_galaxy_s8_s8_plus_ug/status_bar.html
I think that the 'N' comes from a third-party app. Have you installed any apps lately?

I think he's talking about the icon hovering over his home button.
You shouldn't ask the same question in multiple places on the same forum.
It looks like the circle and X you drag chat heads to to remove them off the screen when you're using Facebook Messenger.

Im using Nova launcher, i was talking about the "x" that pop up on my home button.
Ps: i'm using AT&T not sprint
Since the last update, I've been unable to use the keyboard on my watch. When pressing the keyboard icon I'm only given the option to write on the screen. Was it taken away in the update or am I missing something?
Go to keyboard settings and disable "handwritting"

You must have the 2 kind of keyboard installed in "Settings", "Personalize", "Input" and you can switch between installed keyboard by pressing the "world" icon when the keyboard popup. (or uninstall the Handwritting input mode)

It is currently using gestures. Normally, you just go to Settings->System->Gestures->System navigation, and then you can choose to use buttons for navigation, instead of gestures.

In LineageOS next to gestures setting there is gear icon, which allows to tune gestures. Inside there is an option to hide navigation hint.
Similar to what popej and DarthJabba9 said, on PixelExperience there's a specific way under Settings ->System-> Gestures-> System navigation -> Gesture Navigation -> Gesture Settings -> Gesture Indicator.
Toggling that should disable the gesture pill you see at the bottom.
