I have allowed oem unlock in developer settings , and got my unlock key from Motorola. My device is recognized on adb and fastboot, however when I go to run fastboot oem unlock it just hangs and then fails because my phone doesn't respond and keeps auto rebooting every few seconds back into bootloader. What do I do?
Have you tried the Motorola repair tool ?
/
No... What does that do? I am able to boot into the phone by hard resetting it but I cannot get my bootloader to respond to fastboot commands

Hi,
My phone went into a boot loop.
I can access the fastboot menu but the device is locked, I obviously now cannot enter developer options to unlock it
When means I can't unlock the bootloader, and without unlocking the bootloader I can't reflash the device. Bit of a loop of death
Any suggestions or is it a door wedge?

I relock the phone using fastboot command
fastboot oem asus-lock
it did relock my phone

when I power my phone on the fastboot UI appears. even if I select recovery nothing changes. opens fastboot only

There are new guides on how to get volte if you want to try again.
[Guide] Easy method to Enable Volte (with root) on Tmobile and maybe other networks on Android 11 and maybe 10
So first you have to root. I used twrp and magisk. There are guides on how to do that you can find by searching around. Then once you do that, follow these directions, What I did was manually entered all of these setprop commands below, on the...

I believe that relock is impossible and but to make the device recovery to installed status of stock rom keeping with unlock bootloader.
Please see my post. May make it help or not.
When I try to burn rom with TWRP, img burns but it doesn't start and zip gives an error and cannot burn.
When I first burned custom ROM (unofficial AEX), it did not start, so when I deleted the data from TWRP, it seems that I deleted things that should not be erased, so even if I burn it from the zip file, with the error message in the image below I...

Hi All,
I apologize if this is the wrong forum, or if this question has been asked elsewhere. I think my phablet no longer has a dedicated forum. I have a Phab Plus, PB1-770M that I'm trying to unlock the bootloader on. but I can't seem to get into bootloader mode. I can connect to the device with ADB, and I can run adb reboot recovery without issues, but when I try to adb reboot bootloader, it reboots and just hangs at the lenovo splash screen.
Is there anything I need to do first to get into bootloader? Is there any other way to unlock the bootloader?
I'm trying to put a more recent version of LineageOS on it, and I need to get the bootloader unlocked.
Thanks for any help,
Ivan

The bootloader mode doesn't actually have an interface, it's just a boot logo.
Use a computer and run "fastboot oem unlock", then flash a recovery to flash my ROMs.
Hey there,
I have a Pixel 3a, which refuses to start. After powering on, it directly hangs on the first google logo forever.
The device has stock rom and a locked bootloader.
I can still enter fastboot, but when I try to enter recovery mode from there I'm stuck at the google logo again.
Is there anything left I can do to revive the device?
- I cannot unlock the bootloader, because I need to the check this oem unlock setting which in turn is not possible whithout a working device. Or is there a different way?
- I cannot switch the A/B slot because the device is locked.
- I cannot flash something because the device is locked.
I'm grateful for any advice.

Hi there.
A couple of questions first:
Does it respond to any adb or fastboot commands?
Does it enter into Recovery or Rescue mode from Fastboot?
If yes, then your best bet is either https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/ or https://flash.android.com/
Both tools should work even with a locked bootloader, you just need Chrome and the USB driver.
Be warned tho, both tools will erase and factory reset your phone.
