Question Experimental rollback method on RUI 4.0 to RUI 3.0 - Realme GT Neo 3

!!!!!!!! NOT TESTED!!!!!!!!
!!!RISK OF BREAKING THE PHONE!!!
I came up with an experimental method to rollback to global RUI 3.0 from 4.0 because there is no global package to rollback.
You can try flashing the modified Indian package to rollback to RUI 3.0 and then flashing the global RUI 3.0.
Indian rollback package:
https://download.c.realme.com/flash/Rollbackpack/realme_GT_Neo3/RMX3561_11_A_OTA_0150_all_96e7d9_IN.zip
To rollback, you should use the program for updates, the apk file of which I attached to the post.
So:
1) The updater will not just accept the usual rollback package, you need to change it.
Open archive via winrar without unpacking
2) Open payload_properties.txt file in winrar
3) Replace the line oplus_update_engine_verify_disable=0 with oplus_update_engine_verify_disable=1
4) Close notepad and save changes
5) Winrar will say that the file has been changed and you need to agree to a replacement
6) Close the archive and save the changes
7) Try to install the received archive through the updater
And this series of actions should lead to the installation of the Indian version of RUI 3.0, I think.
On this version it will be possible to open the bootloader and install global RUI 3.0

[GUIDE] How to flash OTA packages through TWRP for Letv le1 pro X800

For Letv le1 pro if you have TWRP installed you won't be able to update via OTA automatically. It will fail and it is a real pain to always download the full rom package and flash. Moreover an OTA update notification will pop up continuously which is really annoying.
Here I will tell how to update via TWRP by doing a small modification to the OTA package.
Things Needed:
Winrar
Notepad ++
Steps
1. At first download the OTA package but don't reboot to install it
2. Copy the update zip from the ota update folder of you phone to your pc
3. Open the update.zip file but don't extract it. Just open it via winrar
4. In winrar window navigate to META-INF>com>google>android>updater-script
5. Double click on updater script and open it with Notepad ++
6. In Notepad++ window delete everything from row 8 up to the above line of "# radio update task" like the image sample below
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-mgR2LkvkEtQjVSU0tsNWdXRjQ/view?usp=sharing
7. Save it and close winrar
8. Copy this zip file to your phone and you will able to flash it via TWRP.

Update .152 question

Hello,
I get a notification that I can update my P20 Pro from .131 version to .152 version.
The update has around 700MB, the problem is that when my update gets downloaded and when I reboot the device it reboots the device in to a TWRP where I get an error 9 with an information that the update has failed to install.
What can I do?
Should I remove TWRP, would that help?
I really want that update since I have very bad SOT (4 hours of SOT max )
Thank you all in advance
Hi,
We can't do it if you have TWRP. You must use HuRUpdater.
I did it on my P20.
You can use Huawei Firmware Finder APK on play store to download the packages.
(I will do it with 8.1.0.164 )
How to use:
Warning: Make sure you know what you are doing and do not flash firmware from other devices.
Download firmware files (for official firmware use Huawei Firmware Finder).
Put files you want to flash in a seperate folder on sdcard.
Supported zip files to flash are (name must match):
update.zip (use FullOTA file)
update_all_hw.zip
update_data_public.zip
Optional: Put recovery.img in same folder if you want to keep custom recovery.

After I download update.zip (not tested yet), I see two many files in zip file. Can i only put update.app in dload folder or all files??? (see attached 2nd image)
Any one??? who help me.

Updating your P20 Pro (This can be used to restore a bricked P20 Pro)

My daily driver is AOSCP (CypherOS project) P20 pro ROM, but sometimes I flip back to stock every time there is a new Huawei P20 Pro update. Recently they released (9.0.0.213) so I removed the custom ROM and installed stock (9.0.0.213) without issues, just to see how it feels, whats new and such then jump back to custom. These steps helped me when I bricked my phone.
(Bootloader must be unlocked)
- Use at your own risk.
To jump to stock.
1) Go HERE and type in your phone model and click FIND MODEL button. Then click Filelist, copy and paste the first two links to your browser, this will download the main packages.
2) Extract the update.app file from the Update.zip file you just downloaded.
3) Use EMUI extractor application to extract the image files from the Update.app file.
4) Download Re-Flash, place all the images in the Re-Flash folder and flash as many images as you can. (This step simply puts your phone in enough working order for the update to complete)
Open the "cmd-here" file and start flashing:
Example:
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdis.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash recovery_vbmeta.img recovery_vbmeta.img
fastboot flash kernel kernel.img
(Keep going - some will flash others won't)
5) type: Fastboot reboot, quickly unplug your phone and hold the volume up button, this will boot into EMUI recovery, now format data, format cache.
6) Now the two main packages you downloaded in step one, place those zip files in the folder called ZIPS-HERE, located in the Re-flash folder. Rename update_full_CLT-L29_hw_eu to update_all_hw
7) In the cmd-here window, type flash.bat
follow the steps.
Note:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
if the update fails you'll need a userdata.img, this image file isn't in most update.zip files. You can find it here.
Redo the steps again except this would be the last thing to do in step 4.
- fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
Okay, so I have CLT-L09C782, I updated it to 9.0.0.168 using the FunkyHuawei service. I opened Firmware Finder a while ago and I have seen some new versions of firmware there. Can I manually update from there?

Click to collapse
I tried Firmware finder in the past, hadn't had any real luck with it whereas other have. So I really can't comment on it.
