Hi I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me troubleshoot my device before I take it to a shop. I was browsing on it today and it froze and black screened (80%+) battery. When trying to plug into the computer and power into fastboot (Power + Vol Down) I get an audible that the computer is registering the device for a moment before it instantly disconnects. I tried booting via ADB but it's unable to connect to the phone as it's instantly dc'ing. Regular fastboot and power cycling did nothing, this has been a past issue but has been resolved by simply plugging in and waiting ~10 minutes which does not seem to be working this time

I've got it to recognize in my device manager yet ADB is not detecting it at all. (Worried the device is not in M2P mode), any suggestions are welcome
Update: Holding the power button for the (100th time at least). Let my phone boot up

Hi,
I tried every way and guides shown here. Even disabling driver integrity checks et cetera.
Currently, there's a default stock ROM on my Xperia Z2.
I install the adb-setup-1.4.2.exe installer which installs adb / fastboot + the drivers for my X64 Win10.
Alright.
Reboot.
Then I plug in the USB cord into my turned off phone and hold Volume Up.
My phone vibrates.
I release the button.
Then in tthe Device Manager, this shows up:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

Anybody had the same problem?
One time, through some curious wonder, it worked. S1boot showed up and even the correct driver was instaled (back then via the adb-setup by a XDA user).
Well, what am I doing wrong?
I would be glad for any help. I've tried any troubleshooting guide there is by now and I am at the end of my knowledge.
Thanks for any help,
Michael
My daughter handed me her phone, as she was trying to lock the screen, but the button at the top of the screen wasn't responding. So I held it down for a few seconds to restart the device, which worked, however the following screen appeared:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The only button which responds is the volume up button (which moves the selection down). Volume down and power button don't do anything.
Is the phone bricked?
Thanks.
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
No, the device is not completely bricked, its only soft bricked. That looks like the Bootloader screen to me, You should be able to flash it with its stock firmware to recover the device but I need you to post the model number of the device and the mobile network it is on. Then I can try to help you find the files you'll need and the instructions you'll need to recover the device.
Hello!
so I was experimenting with my phone NOKIA 5.1 ( TA-1075 - BUILD NUMBER 00WW_3_190 ) and the software NOKIA OST LA 6.2.8, I didn't flash any rom but when the phone was in fastboot mode and connected to the pc and software I clicked Edit Phone Information:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After I clicked Edit Phone Information I got no significant results from the software and now the phone is turned off and unresponsive, it just vibrates once every 20 seconds for some time then stops.
The phone can't:
- be turned on
- be turned on in boot menu, factory reset and fastboot
- be connected to pc (it connects and disconnects immediately at every vibration)
I kindly ask you, do know of any solution for this problem?
Thank you very much
Hi, several months ago I believe I tried to root my OnePlus 6 and it resulted in some kind of brick.
When i power on the device it shows the OxygenOS loading animation for several minutes and restarts multiple times. Then it boots into some empty android menu (usually a black screen with the power options when i hold the power button)

What kind of brick is this, is there a guide to fix ? Thanks
Got it working back on stock now.
eventually got into fastboot, unfortunately my pc didnt pick up the device. USB issues are a pain. roommates PC booted TWRP on the phone after a few attempts and we got it installed. Sideloaded stock image (overwriting custom recovery) and it booted setup just fine. testing it out now.
While charging on a usb via cig lighter car charger my phone suddenly rebooted and got stuck in a bootloop to lg logo. It won't power off and automatically restarts about every 10 seconds as long as the battery has charge.

I can get to download mode but again it will only stay on for about 10 seconds before rebooting, so I'm not sure I can get anything flashed before the reboot in that mode.
I'm able to get to a factor reset menu, and it doesn't automatically restart while I am at the menu. However after I select factory reset it seems to restart before actually completing the operation.
The only other screen I've been able to get to that it didn't restart during was the device info screen.
I quite like this phone and invested in the dualscreen case so would love to get it functional again lol. With LGUP I've been getting nowhere because there is no USB COM when the device is plugged in (with factory cable).
Any help would be very much appreciated!
