It isn't Android 12.
It's Android 10 with a file that fakes 1 line to say Android 12.
There isn't even Android 11 on that Platform.

What kind of unit? Show us the specifics. Only a CPU doesn't say anything what kind of brand/reseller it is and what kind of firmware it runs on.
If it is exactly the same as from the OP, then you are also in the wrong subforum.

You dont mention what you have considered, tried already or if you even have an MTC(D/E) unit. If the unit is an MTCx and nothing considered or tried, suggest Android 8 Upgrade method (read thread) or consider flashing Android 8 partition by partition by OTG (also see thread in my sig).
These helpful guys might have some suggestions: @Lince @Kelevra1902 @kupa @segu45

Sorry for my english!
It's my simple question. I am not a developer but I love my Onplus One. It running on android 10 without any problems very smooth and fluidly.
Because of that I am waiting for next update of android version to see my OPO in a new look!!!

LinageOs 17.1 latest and some tweaks
its mid 2020 andriod R based all roms super buggy
Andriod 9 still best
You have said that 9.0 is best but I said Android Q 10 is best and smooth. Try best and compatible Q10 ROM like Linageos 17.1 or SuperiorOs ROM latest. Install them with clean environment.
I am fan of Q10s swipe back gesture. Which is not available in 9. I don't like third party apps for swipe gesture action.
For smoother experience ..add this lines to build prop
persist.sys.dalvik.hyperthreading=true
# System Properties
cpu.fps=auto
gpu.fps=auto
# CPU & GPU Properties
ro.sys.cpu.defaultfreq=auto
ro.sys.gpu.defaultfreq=auto
And set build prop permissions to 644 like rw-r-r

There is a facebook group that discuss about your kind of processor. Now there is a Android 10 (fake, real 8.1.0) update that solves many problems present on old 8.1.0 (GPS not connection, BT, google sign in issue, and many others)

Lineage OS 18.x

Hope this is a good place to ask. I had to get the old Oneplus 7 pro back and Renovate ICE is pretty much dead. I'm not sure if I want to go all the way to Android 12, since I think Oneplus only had it up to 11. On the downloads for Lineage OS though, they only go back to version(s) 19.x which is Android 12.
Help a brother out anybody?
Thanks.

Lineage OS 20, based on Android 13, was only released last month. Give it some time.

An older version of what?
I'm looking for version 18.x of Lineage OS which is based upon Andriod 11. It is a custom ROM for the Oneplus 7 pro.

Yes, it looks like they now only support 19.1 and 20 on that device. All 18.1 links are dead.

Part of the reason people install custom ROMs is to extend the support for their device.

True, but without an actual working stock ROM with the actual Android version you want to build for the device, you can no longer extract the /vendor files which leads to some things not working properly. So it's, "Hey look, I've got a version of Android on this phone you won't" with the qualifier "And everything works." Meaning it is a port. I've been using customer ROMS on all my Android phones for about 12 years or so now started with the Droid A855. Hell I used to flash different firmware on the old flip phones before.
And the whole reason for this thread is what you said. There appears to be no links for version earlier than 19.x, so I asked hopping that maybe someone had one laying around they could share or knew of a mirror or other link. I used to save and host lots and lots of ROMs on my personal server and used to link those repositories in my sig here and many other places.
So thank you for your replies.
