Hi, since Xiaomi decided to depreciate rom support for our mi4c, everyday i try to find a replacement firmware. But here is what i found: official lineage removed mi4c since april, last rom is 0209 because they no longer support 14.1 version. AICP lastest version is 2702, no longer update. There're many unofficial roms on 4pda, but all of them now have their support ended because the devs move to new devices. There's only Mokee that support nightly 9.0 and release 8.1 version everyday and monthly. I try to find something like "mi4c treble" but no hope, the repository is created but empty, not like mi4 that has unofficial treble support. Maybe i need to buy a new phone? But my phone is still in good condition with no problem so far... :crying::crying::crying:
Yeah, sad but true. I also gave up on new rom, so i still use the 15.1 LineageOS one (20180810). Good rom, no problems here, but wouldnt mind some security updates.
The phone works nicely though and apart from battery lasting a day, i dont see any problems. I guess we will have to move to new phone if we want to see some updates rom.
I resized device partition table in order to support android treble.
I will make custom recovery image which is support android treble.
Maybe our device is ready to support android treble by then
added
I made treble-enabled recovery image now and it works well.
I will release the solution soon.

Is that the one without vibration support?
https://gitlab.e.foundation/e/wiki/en/wikis/device/libra/install
it's a fork of LineageOS, still being updated
haven't tested it yet
This is update of lineage-16.0.

/e/ is a fork of lineage and based on lineage 14.1 for our phone, with microg pre installed. They use a different default launcher, bliss
It works well and is easy to tweak if we dont like the launcher or default apps.
Anyway since our phone is no longer maintained i've decided to build lineage 14.1 for myself.
I'll do it once or twice a month when there are updates.
If anyone need it check here :

Mokee have a good android 9 ROM, been using it for months and no issues:
https://download.mokeedev.com/libra.html
Also WJXXBSH recently published new Lineage 16 and even 17! https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=299149
I have not tried it yet, but at least WJXXBSH is keeping our device live.
how about lineage 16 from havoic 3.1 (https://sourceforge.net/projects/havoc-os/files/libra/)
At least it work fine for me on mi4c
Actually this question for developers will this miracle happens again?
Any news or work in progress
I haven't seen a single bacon-related commit in LOS17 gerrit so far.
We just got to wait until see either official or unofficial LineageOS 17
Someone around here said: "...started having a look at Android 10".
Of course ... the work has begun.
any AOSP release?! unfortunately it seem opo developers are not active as much as 4 years ago :'(
Yup, there is bootable and somewhat working Android 10 build for OPO. Long live the bacon indeed. But yeah our device is getting old and developers have moved to the other devices.
in my opinion our device working like charm and it's has as much as worth to support it for more several years.

I'm Lineage OS with microG user. I did install it temporary and it seem good Rom. Please support developer to guaranty better device support.
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Getting support for s10e definitely sounds great, thanks a lot fot the work! What is the typical timeline of merging new devices into the upstream lineageos source? I'd like to go degoogled with microg which is only available for phones that lineageos officially supports. I guess I could compile them both from source myself but then there go the automatic updates.

I decided not to bother with official on 17.1 since official Android 11 release from samsung just came out. I'm only waiting on kernel source so as soon as that is released I can work on 18.1. Once everything is stable I can then push to official.
Hi, where is the link for magisk?
and can I install without it?
thanks
Hey there friend ! Good work on bringing Lineage to the last great Compact phone!
May I ask, do you have plans enabling VoLTE ? In a lot of countries VoLTE is a must, otherwise you cannot call.
In my country for example, by end of March all phones without VOLTE won't be able to place calls anymore.
Thanks ahead.
Whenever I flash this, TWRP says its successful but I can only boot into download mode afterwards. Has anyone else had this problem?

I had a lot of difficulty, but eventually got it running. Try downloading and flashing the Android 10 firmware, let it boot up, and then re-flash the Android 10 firmware this time with the TWRP image. Let it do it's thing and reboot system, and then boot into recovery and flash LOS.
To be honest, I'm interested in LOS 18, but running Android 11 firmware with Magisk and a few EdXposed modules is better than LOS 17.
is this a going concern ?
i just almost bought a qualcomm based version but cancelled thinking lineage was a no-go in the american/chinese stock

Where's a stable LOS 19 for SM-G970U?
I'd like to donate towards a fully working LOS 19 (and later), for beyond0qlte.

We are very excited to announce the beta of Paranoid Android Topaz, based on Android 13.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with beautiful wallpapers from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app from the PlayStore.
Our builds are based on the Code Linaro Organization Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.
Starting from Beta 3, we are unifying the zip for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro to avoid any confusion and easier development!

Rename zip to pa.zip. reboot into bootloader "fastboot update pa.zip" let it install, when it returns to bl, factory reset . Boot into aospa. And if there is 2 files lemonade is for reg op9. Lemonadep would of course be the pro model.
Current OOs has to be on both slots prior to installation.
when i click on download link from paranoid website, i see 2 files on gdrive, both for op9, but one is 2.2 gb and the other is 1.67 gb, both are dated 17/10 , so which one to download

nvm i got it. i enabled the settings below when extracting the boot.img and flashed magisk with 24.1 and then upgraded in the OS. basically kitchen sinked the troubleshooting because im so late for work lol.
thank you for the link/info as always.
Edit: Vishalcj17: this is, by far the stablest A13 ive experienced on OP9 ROMs. Everyones been doing great, but it's clear you have a deeper grasp on this whole process than the average maintainer. Loving the support, thank you for bringing PA to OP9
All I will beg and ask for is OOSCAM native support and Google dial AI call screening without the need for separate moduals. Neither are Important, its just honestly the only "issues" i seem to be left with after coming back to A13 again.

I'm tired. I've spent so much effort and time, and this crap doesn't want to work. None of the versions work, all crash right after launch. Magisk 25.2 does not accept any of the fixes (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/aosp-11-gcam-fix.4347811/), (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oss-11-gcam-fix.4353645/)
Maybe someone has a solution? Maybe someone also has alternatives (only with configs, because I don't know how to configure)?
Help please...
