If you are on EU model, I don't suggest you to flash it. It would mess up your phone and China EMUI has no Google Play Services installed.

Did you try it on EU-Model?
I need to restore my smartphone but can't find any EU-Firmware...
When I open bat.img it first displays some weird signs. When pressing enter the program starts the operation however, it doesn't recognise my phone. I tried it when it is locked as well when it was unlocked. I tried flashing the BOOT patch, but it this one also did not recognise my phone, I get the error: device not found.
Anyone know how to solve this?

You can try this guide https://xiaomifirmware.com/guides-and-tips/how-unlock-bootloader-and-skip-360-hours-waiting/
But it might not work and reset your wait time.

The ARB level of POCOPHONE F1 was increased from 0 to 1 with MIUI 11. I wrote that because ARB could be further upgraded and activated with this ROM.

You can install the update via ADB or SD Card. I've linked the guides and linked th back to this page.
can't sideload or flash through TWRP, adb says it can't read the zip

You need to flash the original INS firmware(security update must end with BVI2) and then to sideload the update. TWRP is the problem.

Well ins firmware is only for f variant and odin wont let you flash it on m variant phone. You now have a compatibility issue. The beta also cannot be flashed over non INS firmware, so you cannot try the beta on m version of the phone. If you really want android 13 you can try lineage or Pixel Experience.
