[SOLVED] HarmonyOS Install on P50 Pro Global
steps for back to emui 12
This is how it worked for me:
download the last rom from google drive :
Huawei_P50_Pro_JAD-LX9_102.0.1.288C10E1R9P1_Dload.zip
Place this folder in a USB drive.
Use an OTG cable to connect the USB drive to the P50 Pro.
Dial *#*#2846579#*#* from the dial pad.
Select option 4, and then option 1, press ok. The phone will restart and the upgrade will start.
Or choose to turn it off. After that, restart (using the 2-button method) in recovery mode, and in the Clear menu, only "wipe cache". After that, Update menu. Then "OTG" updtate... eRecovery recognized the ROM.
Automatically Downloaded what was needed, updated the system.
and successfully return back to emui 12

When I select option 1 , phone reboots 3 times and comes to this screen again.
When I select option 2 , it connects to wifi, download a package and at the end says verification failed.
How can I make this phone work again?
Thanks for any help.

HI,
My phone just restarted and came to this loop. I didn't do an update or anything before it happened.
Model : BLN-L21
I looked for a solution for my problem.
And it looks like i have to install the official firmware again . So far i understood that I can download the full firmware to a sd card and install it.
Is this the correct way to do this?
I've got the android 10 beta update, but i need to downgrade back to 9, because an app, which i use for work isn't working under the new system. I've downloaded, the oficial android 9 build from oneplus's site, and was about to use the local upgrade function, but it shows this message.

. I'd like to avoid to install custom recovery and custom rom, if possible.
Thanks!
So it shows this

the fastest way back with data loss is to msm the phone back to 9.
Go in the oneplus community beta thread and you will find the correct rom to downgrade.
you can but i twill wiped all of ur data. go to the oxygenos android q beta's thread on oneplus community. there's an instruction there.
It is basically a downgrade package which is installed using local upgrade.
Doesnt Format everything on TWRP and then the PIE works?
Whats the difficulty?
Hi All,
Hope this is the right forum...
I have a Pixel 4a (5G). I've tried flashing Android 12 about 10 different ways, but no matter what I do settings shows Android 11. I've tried using the dev flash tools website ( https://flash.android.com/preview/dp1.1) , I've tried the manual download / install from https://developer.android.com/about/versions/12/download .... No matter what, I'm still on Android 11. Am I missing something obvious?
Thanks

All you have to do is to download the device factory image for bramble from HERE and flash it using flash-all.bat, having your device in fastbtoot mode.
If you want to retain your user data, remove the "-w" from the bat script on the line you see the "update instruction".
I did that, just using flash-all. All data was lost, but still says Android 11 (S). I'll try it again with the -w....
S is developer preview of Android 12 but it's still marked as 11 on some places. So if it was that what made you doubt, forget it, it's normal.
OH. LOL.. Thanks. Well, that explains it!
Hi,
My Mate 9 MHA-L29 4GB / 64GB was ruining perfectly until it suddenly crashed and entered into erecovery. I downloaded the latest version system (9.1.0.275) through erecovery with wifi, the phone boots,, then goes through, lets call it "INFERNAL CYCLE" : Goes through the initial setting wizard ( Language, region, ..etc) until the last step i got locked to this screen with no much thing to do.:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I have tried :
1-Backup -> finishes backup->INFERNAL CYCLE
2-Reset - >INFERNAL CYCLE
3-Restart->INFERNAL CYCLE
4-Shutdown->INFERNAL CYCLE
I tried to circumvent this screen by clicking "here" after choosing "backup" and managing to get chrome and downloading setting.apk, , there i see that my storage is only 32 GB, then 16 GB only.
I tried :
1-Factory Reset-> INFERNAL CYCLE
2-Low level format ->INFERNAL CYCLE
The phone just suddenly crashes, now i cannot access erecovery through Volume up +Power button, i just got black screen with the red led on.
Bootloader Locked.
Hi Suite does support my model for system recovery.
Hi everyone.
I would like to get some help (i'll try to describe with my bad english xD)
I bought it less than a year and i downgrade it because i installed the GMS, some apps didn't worked and i format my phone and use it without GMS (everything good at this time), i was waiting for the EMUI11 Update but I have not received the update yet. I've read some post and they said that i have to downgrade to my base firmware to get the "normal" updates but how do i know what's my base firmware version?
This is a little information of my device:
Huawei P40 Pro
Base Software Version: ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.131
Cust Software V: ELS-N04-CUST 10.1.0.7 (C605)
I hope somebody can help me with this
Regards.

Thank you very much @popoyaya I'll try, with that way and see what happens.
This appeared when I enter to the eRecovery and then put my WiFi password.

I guess you will need to download and flash another firmware then. Are you sure you flashed the correct version for your region before?
