Is it the phone or the Pixel Buds Pro that for the last month or so, after I take a call, the media volume slider is turned all the way down on my phone? Anyone else seeing this?
NO ONE else has this issue?

I tried calling my first Skype account in my Nexus S using my 2nd account from my PC, and the ringer sound in the Nexus is really really low. The volume is max already. I think it's sa bug or something, I'm not sure.
Anyone knows a fix? any options I'm missing? thanks!
I've no idea where this belongs so I thought I'd go as general as possible.
Is there a way to match my notification/ringer volume with my media volume whenever headphones are plugged in?
I'm constantly deafened when I'm listening to music on low volume and a notification goes off full bore because I've forgot to turn them down. If I remember to turn notifications/ringer down then I tend to forget to turn it back up and l end up with missed calls because I plug the phone into computer speakers to play music and can't hear it ring.
I know the easiest solution to this problem is a good memory but does anyone know of a more reliable option?
Phone details if anyone cares
If it matters I'm using a Telstra HTC one XL (same as the one X on ATT) fully stock, unrooted on 4.0.3. I figured it was more of a general android thing which is why I posted it here. I'd definitely root for a fix but I'd rather not flash a ROM until CM10 or AOKP are almost 100%
Thanks guys!

Hi guys!
It's well known that Microsoft increased the volume of the speakers with the new update.
But I noticed a pretty annoying problem:
If you set the volume to a low value and watch a movie for example and there's f.e. only a conversation ongoing the speakers turn off when they "think" that they don't have to play anything and don't turn on again quick enough (hard to describe ^^).
The outcome is that it just sounds weird and you have to turn up the volume to make them stay on.
Did anyone else notice that and possibly know how to fix that?

same for me. The only fix where found jet is volume up
Does anyone have an recommended apps to fix the in call volume? The sound currently is so low that I can barely tell if someone is on the line. I tried using Paranoid Android and Pacman rom, still no real improvement. I've cleaned out the speakers as well.
I had same issue. I did what you did and it didn't work. In call volume went down real low. I could never find a remedy. If you do,let us know.
For anyone else that finds this, a stop gap is hit volume down when you're on your call, then you can increase the volume with the volume up button. If I find a better solution I'll post here.
Hi guys. I'm wondering if anyone can do a basic check of what their Pixel phone speakers are putting out in Decibels?
Mine doesn't seem very loud. And when I turn it down onlg 2 presses, it seems so very quiet.
Anyway, with volume on full and playing music and using a sound test app, I'm getting a max of 82db. As seen in the attachment.
Just want to confirm what other's may be getting?
