Android P Beta Google Pay?

I've searched a bunch and haven't seen a solution, but has anyone downloaded the lastest Android P Beta and lost Google Pay functionality? I haven't unlocked my bootloader or rooted the device, but I get the following screen when trying to set up Google Pay. Any ideas? Does the beta automatically unlock your bootloader?
deleted
I have the same problem. Does anyone have solution?
by design - gPay doesnt work on official beta even with MAGISK.
When I dirty flash mine Google pay worked fine just my dialer didn't work. So I did a factory reset and now my Google pay doesn't work says that my device may be modified. I would like to know a solution also other than going back to stock os.

He is talking about Google tez app which has been renamed to Google pay in India. Its an app/wallet where you can re-register the bank or UPI address.
Google pay ,outside india, refers to payment through NFC. Which i think is not working and known issue. We should clear this before discussion about Google "pay".

Google pay is working on OPEN BETA pie.
but you must be unrooted for that if you previously rooted and dirty flashed the rom even though it will not work.
If you are rooted then go to magisk click uninstall and reboot and then unistall gpay reinstall it and now try it works.
But if you are first time installer of rom then first boot to bluespark twrp.
WIPE data then flash the downloaded. Zip of OB3.
Then reboot and. Then Install google play now configure it works.
But rooted user it doesn't work, i have tried every single method to use it on rooted devices it cant works there

Thanks mate! That makes sense.
I was going to leave the beta alone because I use Google Pay all the time, but this post encouraged me to install the beta, and now I have no G Pay

For GPay, if you are willing to use Magisk, you can try a module that I have been using Tezhider4magisk, Apologies if I confused you, just trying to help,
Forgot to read the posts above. Sorry about confusing with GPay in India.

I'd like to know more details about this. When I had my OP 3T in the Beta program I needed to root it to apply the DayDream hack (the DayDream demo went fine BTW). It took me several tries to bring back the Google Play to work. First I had multiple try with SuperSU + suhide, but couldn't get it to work. Then I went with Magisk, but that required multiple tries. So many tries were frustrating, but I finally got my device into a fragile equilibrium, which I immediately lost with the next Beta update.
Now I have a OP 6, and I resisted the rooting so far, partially because of Google Pay. At the same time since Magisk worked with OP3T beta + Google Pay, what's the reason it would not be able to hide itself for Google Pay on OP 6 beta program? In fact it'd be enough if a couple of non-Indian guys would confirm here that they are part of the beta and have Google Pay (non Indian - sorry -, because several folks are interested in not the Indian Tez or whatever but the legit Google Pay).
Cheers

But beta Android did not work with gpay by design
It was on an OS level, even if you were stock on bets/alpha it would've work it didn't matter if you have root or not

It's FRP locked. That means it's either stolen, a found phone that was lost, or the previous person didn't uncheck a box when they sold it. If you're not concerned with that part then just unlock it. Super easy. I'm not going to tell you how to do so since XDA would probably throw a fit, but you can Google the answer. I've done it on Samsungs, LGs, Huaweis, Sonys.

Google Pay Android Q Beta 3

Hey Folks. I'm currently on Q beta 3 on my pixel 3. And i cant add pay methods in google pay. It says i have rooted or otherwise changed the Device. Thats not the case. I dont have unlocked the bootloader or changed the device in any way.
Someone else has the same problems?
I asked the assistance and they told me that phones running beta version android are not allowed on Google pay.
Weird. It worked on beta 2 flawlessly.

I have used Google Pay daily on Q beta 1 and 2 for months. It works fine, and worked fine last night on Q beta 3 as well.
This is the exact quote from the email response they sent me:
This error message usually means that you've unlocked your bootloader, installed a custom ROM, or rooted your device. This could also occur if you've installed a developer version of the Android OS. I understand how this allows for greater customization of your device. However, the result is that the Google Pay app can't be used because Google can't verify the security of your device.

I have the same problem. Google Pay worked on beta 1 and 2 and it's no more the case. Play store says that my device is not certified for play protect !
Maybe my mistake was, that i changed my payment methods. So it had eventually worked with the old settings. Sucks big Time.

How to install old versions of Android app

I'm trying to get an ad-less version of YouTube that existed back in 2015. I figured it was as easy as finding the APK and once you have it all you must do is allow permissions if you haven't done so already (since almost all of my Android projects require this at some point or another), however I was proven wrong just now when I saw an exclamation mark followed by text that said App not installed. If someone gives a good answer I'll give 5 stars or best answer or whatever works on this site I'll make sure you get the credit you're owed.
Edit: My specs are Android 8.1 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab SM-T378V, if it helps to know.

If you want old version of YouTube then I will remind you that your older version of YouTube will tell you to update to new one in open screen and cannot access the old YouTube.

If you are using the custom rom or had rooted your device by unknown process then i am pretty sure this app is very buggy for you. Since i am using Youtube Vanced in custom rooted and stock rom i do have problem sign in. And this is surely because of rooting my device.
Even i also cannot signin to youtube in my rooted device.
But the app works perfectly on non rooted devices and pure stock fresh device.

You are correct. I did not realize this earlier but I did not in fact use the files you specifically sent to me. After trying them however, I got the same result. Technically, all I need is to access the watch later of my YouTube account. Since my watch later is set to private however and I don't know how to change that, I'm not sure how to do that without signing in somehow. If it's impossible to sign into Vanced, are you saying the only way for me to do this would be to somehow make my watch later public instead of private?

Look I don't really understood whether and how you were not able to sign in through YouTube Vanced.
But there is a way to enable watch later in youtube. If you have a pc or laptop or android
Follow these steps
On your Android phone or tablet, open your Google Settings app and then tap Manage your Google Account.
At the top, tap Data & personalization.
Under "Activity and timeline," tap My Activity.
there is a option to manage (watch later) or called "history" then you can enable the history.
Simply follow these guide.
Or if you want more help then do a private message. :good:
---------- Post added at 01:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:12 PM ----------
And one thing is that you cannot make a watch later public or private.
I you are confused then you should have told to make uploaded videos or playlist public or private.
Things in youtube that can be public and private
1)Your own videos
2)others videos liked by you
3)others videos added in your playlist
4)subscribers
Thats all :silly:

Question OnePlus 9 Andriod 12 updste

Hi. I have a OnePlus 9 T-Mobile version. I first got the notification to install Andriod 12 but after installing Andriod 12 it was still on andriod 11 and now there is no update available
Same here
I was on (11.2.2.2) and after the update I expected (LE2117_11_C.16) as it was shown in the update details, but instead it updated my build to (11.2.8.8). Still on Android 11..
Now it says no updates available. Any ideas why?

No clue man. This same thing happened with me. The only way is to update it using a computer which I think will cause my phone to lose all it's data
I've been having this exact same problem for about 3 weeks now. No OTAs have come through, there's no A12 MSM tools and OnePlus wants me to ship them my device to be updated instead of doing it over remote. So I can't even get mine done without weeks of downtime, let alone snag an MSM loader. :/
