Question No touch screen response after update / reboot. - Samsung Galaxy A32 5G

Have an a32 5g and it was working fine, it recieved the android 13 update OTA via tmobile and once rebooted the screen wouldn't respond.
I could plug in a mouse and use that, but no touch response.
Factory reset (using mouse) didn't fix, so I tried "repair apps" in recovery mode and it worked, but once you restart the phone, it goes through "app optimization" and the screen once again stop responding to touches.
I have used odin to reflash the update, and same behavior (good for initial boot, then stops)
Even If i reflash and see the welcome screen while it is in a working state and restart, once restarted it doesn't register touches so it isn't likely a third party app.
I even downgraded to android 12 via odin and same behavior.
I'm at a loss as to what is going on, clearly something software wise is goofed up from the update and is "fixed" by "repair apps" in recovery, but then gets "optimized" on the next boot and breaks again.
Any help would be appreciated.

[Q] Bootloop on stock 3.2

Is there any way out? TF boots, flashes locked screen for a second and reboots.
I can shut it down with holding Power+Volume Up for 10 sec, I tried to "cold boot" it with Power+Volume Down but no luck, it just goes into the loop again. Maybe I've done it wrong when there were two shapes on the screen - "Wipe data" and "Anrdoid", volume down seem to toggle them. I think I tried both.
Will this "Wipe data" lose ALL my downloaded apps etc? Will I have to reenter a million of passwords again?
Wifi sometimes shows "No internet connection", sometimes "SMC" - my home network, the icon is gray with occasional little symbols on it, too.
I tried turning the router off and starting TF with wifi tether on my phone and it should remember the settings but it just shows "No internet connection" and reboots.
I took the microSD out, too.
I once saw an Anrdoid Robot with a big orange exclamation mark but it didn't do anything for a while so I just shut it down again. Should I wait a bit longer? I can't find the combination that got me into that screen again, too.
It doesn't actually reboot per se, it shows the "Asus, perpetual perfection" with a running gear screen.
All other threads about boot loop here are about rooted Transformers, not surprisingly, and the solution is to flash a better Rom or to do it properly.
What about unrooted device? What is the proper way to recover the tablet?
Had to wipe in the end.
Yesterday it happened again, so I wiped it again.
This time I rooted and installed Titanium Backup, at least recovering will be easier.
So I guess that is the answer.
Pure, "one-click" root, as per
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1198303
still keeps OTAs coming in case Asus figures the solution

[Q] Galaxy S6 won't boot. Black Screen, Blue Pulsing LED

Ok. So 14 days ago my wife and I both got S6's for Verizon from a local big box store. (yes, 14. Today is the last day I have to take it back.)
We took the OTA to OE2 and I was able to root both phones with PingPong. Everything was fine until yesterday. Her phone wasn't responding when a call was coming in, so she restarted it by holding in the power button. Now, when it boots up it goes to a black screen after showing the initial "Samsung Galaxy S6" screen. Nothing changes. There is a teal/blue pulsing LED that doesn't go away.
I can enter the recovery and wipe cache, factory reset, safemode, etc. I've tried all of those many times. I can enter download mode and use Odin 3.10.6 to reflash OE2 and it says "Pass". After rebooting, it goes to the "Android is upgrading" dialog and goes through and updates about 248 apps, and then changes to read "Starting apps." It won't go past that screen. I left it on that from 10pm last night until 6am this morning with no change. The battery eventually went dead (from 100%). I've tried Odin many times, and it passes every time.
What are my options? When booting, the padlock is unlocked and says "Custom". I'd really like to get rid of that so I can return it to today without problems. When in Download mode, the system status says "custom".
Please help!!
I've also tried using SmartSwitch on the PC, and it doesn't detect the phone.
Update: I'm trying an Emergency Recovery with Smart Switch. It's at 52% right now. I got a serial number from another S6 so it would allow the download/recovery process to start. It's kind of ridiculous you can't get the serial number for your device from anywhere but the settings page on the phone. (Note: not the IMEI, the actual SN). It's not on the box or back of the phone.
Ok, another update. Emergency Recovery didn't work. It finished, and said that it was successful, but didn't fix the issue.
I took the phone back to the place of purchase and they tried about everything that I had already tried. They ended up just replacing the phone. They said that they never saw this issue before.
I have almost an identical issue except I have not roOted or installed any custom ROMs everything is stock . The fingerprint scanner quit working today and said it required a restart, when I restarted the phone I'm experiencing exactly what you are a black screen and a blue pulsing light. In the stock recovery screen I've tried booting to safe mode USB debugging everything except the factory restore yet I think that is my last resort.

Help: Superuser causing freeze on startup?

Hi, i have a rooted Samsung galaxy prevail 2, and just recently my phone has appeared to stop working. when i reboot it, the message 'shell has been given superuser permissions' is displayed and the screen is frozen. in this state none of the hardware buttons work except the power button except it only works to reboot, not turn the screen off. the low memory icon is also displayed in the top left. i should mention that this has happened before a while ago but my phone returned to normal after three days and i did nothing to fix it. this time its on day seven of freezing on every reboot. i have tried to factory reset using the hardware buttons but once it gets to the second logo and displays the message at the top left, it doesnt continue to the recovery menu and instead shuts back off. i have also tried to connect it to my computer to look through the files but it will not accept the driver the computers trying to install. i even downloaded the correct driver from the samsung website. any help? thanks.

S7 crashes on boot. No response to input. Drain to 0% to power on again.

It started a few days ago, I was testing a cardboard/gear vr unity game and the screen would turn black but the buttons were responsive and I could get it to hard reboot or make it come back again after plugging it back into the gear. I looked around but couldn't find anything that resembles my issue.
Now as soon as it boots it goes into a black screen after samsung and carrier logos show, i sometimes get a glimpse of the lock screen and respond to some input.
The phone is still on, I can feel the battery warm.
-No response to any input. Not even pwr+vol down.
-PC won't detect it when plugged.
-No lights on charging.
-I need to let it fully drain for it to shut down and try anything again.
-Did a factory reset from recovery mode, wipe cache. Still the same.
-No root.
-There was an update that may have installed overnight but can't confirm because can't access system info.
EDIT: New find! when booting to recovery, goes into "Installing Update" and then "No command".
Any thoughts??
Is there some pc software that i can use to try to reinstall firmware? Something like SEUS for sony phones back in the day?
Is odin safe or should i look into a samsung official tool? I've never used odin so i'm not sure of it's capabilities (this is my first sammy phone, I had it to get to test gear vr apps)
Sorry for the long post but wanted to get all the info out there.
Thanks!
Can you enter "Download Mode"? (By rebooting and pressing HOME + VOLUME DOWN)
If yes, I suggest that you try, as you suggested, reinstalling your firmware.
You will have to know your carrier, or specific phone model (G930X, where X represents carrier letter (Example: T for T-Mobile) )
Modified Odin (by PrinceComsy): https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591023225177749
Then I suggest downloading firmware from https://SamsungBay.com as all other sources restrict download speed (So it takes a minimum of 13 hours).
https://samsungbay.com/download-firmware/?device=&model=sm-G930&firmware=
Once you have Odin and Firmware, load the correct files.
(AP_G930X), (BL_G930X), (CP_G930X), and (CSC_G930X) into Odin.
Power off phone, and boot into download mode (Pressing HOME + VOLUME DOWN)
N.B/ You will lose all your phone data, sadly, but it seems you've already wiped it.

Another Black Screen, Another New Problem

So I was just doing some hardware tuning using Kernel Adiutor to save battery, restarted, and it booted up (I was using apply on boot obviously) and was running very slowly. I tried to change the settings, but the phone froze. "No problem", I thought as I rebooted via adb command. It reboots and I cancel the apply on boot, and it freezes after five minutes. I reboot again, freezes again. Reboot, freeze. This happens about 6 or 7 times , each time freezing sooner than the last. Then, it freezes one last time, then the screen goes black. I try reboot and reboot to bootloader/recovery with hardware buttons with no success. So I assume it powered off, but I should check adb first. I ran the devices command and it showed up as active. I ran all basic reboot commands and those just sit there and never complete (I sat here for 20 minutes waiting for it).
I also thought it may be stuck in Android with no display, which I've had happen before on another S7, but it doesn't respond to touch or hardware buttons, and doesn't show up in file explorer (I have screen lock off so it shows up even when off normally).
So then I thought it may be stuck in bootloader with no display. I open up Odin and it recognizes the device, but won't flash anything at all.
Also, this device has never been dropped to my knowledge, and has no cracks, so I doubt it's hardware damage.
I've tried everything I can think of, and Google yielded no results thus far
TL;DR
Messed up with Kernel Adiutor and the screen went black after multiple reboots and freezes
Tried hardware reboots and adb reboots
The device shows up in adb and Odin, but not in file explorer (no screen lock, usually shows up even with screen off)
Odin cannot flash anything, so it's not in bootloader
Other Info:
It's obviously a Galaxy S7
It was originally a Sprint phone (G930P)
It now has Unlocked firmware (G930U)
It is also running engboot for root permissions
I have some previous experience with engboot with my other S7 and have had no problems after 2 years rooted
Any help at all is appreciated
Edit:I'm an actual idiot and didn't know about force reboot (power and vol. down for 10 sec.) and that worked :/
