Hello.
Can anybody told me how i can Boot in recovery Mode Erisin ES8711M PX5 Android 11.0 ?
I have just installed the unit in my car and after updating some "factory settings" and doing a device reboot, I get a "black screen" !
I can not find any information in Erisin documentation...
Thanks for your help.
Is it an MTCD device post Android system information including MCU version

Hello - I have an Rk3188 Xtrons double-din unit (MTCD GS) - I foolishly flashed a non GS DCU image and I can't get into recovery anymore. After some time it boots to a screen with a triangle with an exclamation in the middle.
I know I can upgrade this with a Witson PX5 board, my question is will that be enough to get it up and running? I assume the DCU image is stored on the board that will be replaced? Or will it still be bricked with the new PX5 board?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

False alarm... Turns out the newMCU just messed with the config and I could only see the screen when I was going in reverse (very pleasant surprise when I backed my car up!!)
Disabled the reverse camera option in firmware settings and all is well!
Hello, i have a problem with my px5. I think that apanend when i change the factory setting. Can i reset that setings? Tanks
Last year I had upgraded my Stock Erisin PX5 with version 6 , to version 8.0 (Hal9K ) using the RockChip update tool . I also updated the relevant MCU version . It had been working fine with the HAL9K upgrade , until the end of last year the unit started slowing down . I remember clearing the cache from the recovery menu thinking this would help but ,since doing so the unit has been practically bricked . It has not been working since . Upon turning it on , I just see a shell/cmd menu flash for a fraction of a second , then nothing - see below

I have since attempted re-flashing the 8.0 HAL9K and a 6.0 stock image , sent to me courtesy of HAL9K via email . I fruitlessly created several bootable upgrade SD cards , using the Rockchip tool (1.56), writing the system image files to the SD card . Upon inserting the upgrade SD cards , into the GPS slot I just get a 'Upgrade card' or generic 'Navigation system' splash menu and nothing else, I waited 10 - 20 minutes each time . As shown below

This PX5 I think does not have a reset switch, though it does have physical buttons and a power button ( see images above - the two holes are mics? ) , holding the power button for around 10-15 seconds , 'resets' the device , the lights flash twice after doing so , I think this ' long press power' also is supposed to open the recovery menu
I have contacted Erisin for some support , I am hoping they can send me some instructions to flash a stock ROM . Below is the system information with the stock rom and MCU for reference purposes , obviously these are not the current MCU or ROM version but , the images should give some indication of the intricacies of the device .

If anyone has some information on how to flash stock firmware , please reply . Many thanks . I understand all PX5 firmware should be interchangeable between manufacturers but the MCU version is unique .
problem resolved
now it works.
i tryed to resolve it with this link from hal9k post nr. 3116

Hello,
I Have a Big Problem with my Xtrons Pqs7146b. I Tryd to Flash a Other Firmware(Hal9k) This was Successful but i Got a Problem that i dont get a no GPS Signal.
So i Flashed back to A11 with ModInstaller Pro3 and Tryd this Firmware https://xtrons.ibus-app.de/index.ph...roid_11.0_Hexacore_Xtrons_ROM_PQS-Serie_[PX6] but After This Succesful Flash i Only Get a Blackscreen - NO Boot Logo or Something.
I can Enter the Recovery Mode but nothing more ...
Anyone have a Idea ?
Could you solved this problem? I have the same….. i used modeinstaller pro to flash back to android 9. Since that i have only a black screen.
I did not come to the recovery mode, the screen is black anytime. I have the same hardware pqs7139b.

@marchnz thank you for support. But in your signature is the fix für PX5 boards. Work this fix also for the PX6 Version? Sorry, my english is not good, it is very difficultly to read for me.
Yes - Specifically MTCD and subtype boards, they are all the same.
Today i would try it. But my board is completely different. I think, there is no canche to fix it!?
