and second one is just like netflix has, but there is no way to make it transparent
Any chance to add transparency option to the second backgroud, the smaller one

Unfortunately, that is currently not possible. But, don't worry! We have shared this with our relevant team for further review and will strive to make this possible in future if it is found to be feasible. Meanwhile, your patience is appreciated

Looks good but don't like the playlist, shuffle, repeat buttons. I think it would look better with the icons instead of the text
I agree with the above poster. I'm on Cm 5.0.2 and can't seem to get this to work either. It was showing up as my default music app and would only let me install or open it. Flashing it as a zip would be easier for me. But definitely change the words to icons and change it to a zip and it would be awesome!
I post an update later tonight. If i find some icons tho
You da man! If you can find me a green handcent icon let me know...lol
Sorry for the delay, but better late than never

Skinning ChompSMS Widget

So I use chompSMS all the time, tried everything else around and it allows me to reply quickly to txt when i need to. Recently I been working on creating some themes but haven't got things to where I want to release them. I Bought the extended controls on market and really loved the customization. More colors would be nice but I thought using the same idea or other apps such as chomp would be great. As of right now I skinned my widget and things are not perfect but, I will get it there soon enough. Maybe at some point I could build an app that would allow you to customize these widgets and apps.
Here is a screen shot of what I did to mine. If you understand how to edit png files and install apps then the process isnt too hard. PM me if you want the instructions other wise i found the widget backgroun in /res/drawable-port-hdpi. From what I can see most things in it could be customized.

as you can see I edited the status bar and made it completely transparent and so problems came in with apps such as Mms, People, and Contact
having white status bar, having white status bar and white icons(wifi, battery, signal etc) results in complete white status bar and its ugly
Dont my assignment already searches around here in XDA and with the help of our friend google, I cant seem to find a solution yet
which drawables(?) xml (?) smali(?) would I replace or edit in per apps? just need some guides and I'll do the rest
and Oh lasty where in SystemUI would change background of status bar expanded (done all the way to editing some stuffs)
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
rest assured you will be credited for the help after I finish my custom rom

Digital Face with simple date format - app notifications Q

I couldn't stand any of he digital faces in the store and the date format so i created 2 versions of my own. If anyone is wondering you can format the dates in multiple ways using the format arguments in the link below. There is still a lot of limitations and font sizes in the same argument so you can get creative by using multiple digital clocks with specific formats and use the hide feature to make it work.
I would love to figure out how to make the missed notification bubble show up on the email and messages app but no response from the developers who have created them and are selling them. Not even sure if the work but if anyone has any idea i would appreciate if you can share.

cheers
These are 2 different faces, i started with the white icons to save battery but the colored icons looked much better and i have the timeout set to 15 seconds so i does not waste that much more battery.

Widget that just makes an adjustable opaque black box...

Hello everyone, I was wondering if such a widget exists that essentially creates an adjustable black box that you can send behind widgets (send to back).
I use an old widget called "Advanced Clock Widget" that lets you hide the clock and data, essentially doing the same thing... but that's all I use it for.
Like this.

}
These are different widgets with transparent backgrounds and this helps create a uniform look.

(in case the picture isnt showing for some reason)
Maybe you can use KLWP (Kustom Live Wallpaper) app for this purpose. It also has a Widget version.
It basically allows you to create customized live wallpapers and widgets.
thanks ill give it a shot
