My Sony PC companion said 7.5 is the newest one and my phone is uptodate 0.o

The generic FW for sim free phones might be out but it will take a while longer for network carriers to fill it with even more bloatware before its released

My phone is branded Vodafone and is already out.

their is also a another update on the way 11.0.A.7.10....

I got 11.0.A.7.5, generic central europe (non-branded) and I'm not receiving any updates, is it carrier based or is it something that Sony pushes on their servers?

New firmware 11.0.A.7.8
I have upgraded to the new firmware 11.0.A.7.8
straight to the Xperia J
I have not used PC companion

sorry, the failure
seek is FTF 11.0.A.7.8
So have available at the moment
ST26i_11.0.A.3.18_Global.ftf
ST26i_11.0.A.3.28_WE.ftf
ST26i_11.0.A.7.5_CE.ftf
I even dowgrade to 7.5
because I'm testing the new CWM of srl3gx
after the dowgrade not appear able to upgrade to 7.8
not checked using the PC Companion
Portugal vodafone network.

still no ota update for me and no FTF file to be found

I've tried disable my Antivirus and My Firewall, I'm using Windows 8.

This error is come from your Sony mobile update engine. Try to reinstall sony mobile update engine or download latest sony mobile update engine and install it. After that try to close sony pc companion from task manager. And reboot your pc and try it again

Thank you but I've tried your suggestion and stil get the same error.

Anybody has a link for stock Kitkat for Xperia Z3 D6653? Been looking everywhere can't seem to fin any. Thanks in advance guys.

were can you see this?
if I go to devices on flashtool, choose my phone, I can see only latest software, which is 5.1.1 and do not see kitekat?

My M2 Had A Bootlop And From TWRP Recovery I Delete OS. I Try To Flash Firmware But It Shows Me "Error- , Error Flash Abprted" Can Anyone Help Me How To Flash Firmware In My Phone Or Is It Break? I Have Installed Driver From Flashtools Folder, Download Drivers Other Forum For M2 But Still Same Also I Try From Sony Companion But Program Cannot See What Mobile Is Connected. When I Turn On My Phone It Shows SONY And Nothing More.... Sorry For My Bad English And Thanks.

If you have looked bootloader,
Disconnect your phone,
open pc companion ->support zone->phone/tablet software update->press repair my phone/tablet, choose m2 if it's listed or press another phone and find it than follow instructions.

I Did It But It Shows Me "There Is No Available Software In Your Device: WHat Can I Do?

I Did It I Flashed Kit Kat And I Would Update VIA Ota To Lolipop. I Don't Know Why I Can't Flash Lolipop Firmware But No Problem In Safe My Smartphone Is Health. Thanks For Your Trying To Help Me

so what can i do any help plz

i installed it on my pc but i don't know what to do as my smartphone is branded to wind italy so i have to debrand it
IS The CDA will creat problems if it's different from the original one
note: my z5 is lock sim free

You can use other ftf no problem. mine is uk sim free and i used singapore ftf

Then don't select any wipe option .there is a slight chance of bootloop but you can always flash again with wiping everything clean if that happnes. try to exclude TA partition if it's present and don't worry the risks are really small
Don't forget to use latest version of flashtool
