[Q] How can I get a stock rom from a backup?

I have made a backup of my ROM after I rooted my Acer Z110 (MT6575 based) and made it ready for a possible flash with SP Flash Tool. I wanted to extract only stock ROM (without any app, user data and IMEI info) so that it can be flashed on another Z110 from my same country (Italy, Acer does not provide italian rom) just like the official UK rom that can be downoaded from Acer website.
Additional info: original stock rom and backup have in common boot.img and recovery.img
OK, this might be lengthy, so hang on.
Is it a zip? Is it a rar? Is it something else? Tell me what it says after the dot (e.g. something.zip)
Now, if it is a zip, open it, and delete the data or user files/folders/images/archives.
Try flashing it and see if there is any data left over.
Let me know how it goes
It's a set of .img and .bin files just like the original rom
Code:
MT6575_Android_scatter.txt
DSP_BL
boot.img
cache.img
recovery.img
secro.img
system.img
userdata.img
userdata_nvram_only.img
logo.bin
preloader.bin
uboot.bin
Original ROM lacks cache.img and userdata_nvram_only.img while userdata.img is considerably smaller than the backupped one (6mb vs 171mb) just like system.img and secro.img (these two however are not so different in sizes).
I think that MTK Droid Root & Tools makes also a nandroid backup if necessary but it can't be flashed on the device as there is still no custom recovery for it.
Also it could be helpful to know that originl rom is for a dual-sim version of the device while mine is single-sim (they however are different only in software as someone flashed that rom and everything works, except they can't insert SIM2 as there s no space in our device).
Please, upload your ROM

Nexus 5 D821 (h) Soft Brick Fastboot Erro

Hey guys,
I need help!
A model LG Nexus 5 D821 (h) 16GB has bricked.
I downloaded 3 firmwares on https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#instructions for this device and execute the instructions folow:
1- extract adb minimal and fastboot on new paste
2- extract file compacted of firmware at same new paste
3- execute commands fastboot
(now is the problem)
when i execute "fastboot flash system system.img
an error appears:
REMOTE FAILED: (size too larger)
I think that file system.img it´s than larger. File´s size is 1961709KB. But a device information for max download size supported is 1073741824B, or aproximatted 1073741KB.
an others firmwares it was split a chunk files, exemple:
system.img_sparsechunk.0
system.img_sparsechunk.1
system.img_sparsechunk.3
etc etc
Its make file minors.
Please, any solution???
"I downloaded 3 firmwares" - which firmwares?
Which system.img are you trying to flash? Which tutorial are you following?
Did you check that the firmware was good by verifying the checksum? You can do this with a free Windows program called Checksum Utility - http://download.cnet.com/MD5-SHA-Checksum-Utility/3000-2092_4-10911445.html
Is your device bootloader unlocked? Did you have "Enable OEM unlock" ticked in developer options?
Did you manage to flash any partitions? Are you flashing manually or via a toolkit or flash-all.bat?
Too many questions - you need to provide more detail about exactly what you've done.

how to flash these

So yeah...
I've downloaded a full dump files for my firmware on my tablet.
After i've downloaded the files, i'd extracted it and .IMGs files
were extracted. These were: backup.img, boot.img, cache.img
kernel.img, kapanic.img, metadata.img, misc.img, recovery.img,
system.img, userdata.img and loader bins. How could i flash these
files for my tablet to work again since a firmware needed to
flash on it. Please tell me how or which should i do or which
tool should i use. I need it asap :crying:

Fastboot and Multiple <system_xx.img>

Within stock rom it has multiple system image files:
system_1.img
system_2.img
...
If i wanted to flash this to system do i simply:
fastboot flash system system_1.img
fastboot flash system system_2.img
fastboot flash system system_30.img
Or must i join them first?
Thanks
