How do I prevent
Wake up alarm getting enabled by itself

Go to modes and routines. Select modes, then sleep, it may be the (turn on automatically). Try to disable it, it may solve your issue.

[Q] Alarm Clock not working.

I tried to use my g-tablet as my alarm clock and it seems like I need to keep it awake for it to ring. Allowing to go to sleep or putting it to sleep, will not ring the alarm until I wake it. I suspect this is a similar problem with the sleep problem of the device. Is there a work around beside keeping the device awake throughout the night?
Bump. Had a similar issue this morning and the alarm didn't go off until I woke the device. Anyone else experiencing this issue and have a solution?
I disabled the screen timeout in the settings and that resulted in the device remaining active and playing the alarm on time this morning. Of course that means that the screen is always on so it's probably worth looking into apps that display either no image at all or one that does not harm the display.

how to disable auto sleep

I want to completely disable auto sleep, but I can only set for when device is charging to not sleep with the developer options, but even with that option enabled, the device will always auto sleep if you face down the device (proximity sensor?)
Are there any program or anything that can do that? I mean disable it completely, setting it as manual (only power button)
Please help I need it for an app, thanks! :highfive:

try App Settings if you're rooted and have xposed, set your app to "keep screen on"

If your not rooted or you don't want to, There's a app that your looking for.
Smart applock
I have given the play store link below:
- Just navigate to screen lock and add apps that you want to keep active without sleeping.

Alarms not working after MM update?

Not sure if I need to change some setting somewhere or if something is broken. I woke up a little early this morning and had the phone on when the alarm would normally sound. It just immediately gave me a missed alarm notification instead of ringing. As a test I set the alarm for one minute in the future and turned the screen off. The alarm screen appeared for about a second and then turned off. No sound. I'm not sure if it's something I have set incorrectly. The alarm volume was up. Do not disturb wasn't turned on. Any thoughts?
Quick update, I've been using the Google Clock app for the last year. I found some suggestions to try turning off the battery optimization for the alarm app. Tried that with no success. However, if I set an alarm with the default Alcatel Time app it appears to work. For now I'll just switch back to that.

Phone keeps silent mode after 'Do Not Disturb' is turned off

Hi there,
the last coupe of weeks I have the following problem.
At night I have a scheduled 'Do Not Disturb' from 00 am to 6 am. When DND is to disabled at 6 am it stays in Silent Mode , the speaker icon is greyed out and has a diagonal line over it.
I completely disabled DND and re-enabled it, the first night everything went well but this morning, once again, the phone stays muted after DND is turned off automatically.
Anybody else with such a problem and/or a solution?
I know I can try safe mode and some other things but first of all I want o reach out for other user having or knowing this problem.
Well, DND is not the problem. The phone keeps going to a mute state randomly.
I can start removing apps (I removed the ones that can do something on the volume and the mute state but no help).
Are there no apps that can monitor the phone's behavior so I can find out on that way which app is causing the troubles.
Or is there another way to find the culprit without resetting the phone or uninstall apps one-by-one?
Confirmed: after DND the phone keeps in mute state randomly. G965FXXU8DTC5 firmware.
I use my phone with medium power save mode. I will try to use with optimized power save mode.
I manage DND with Bixby Routines. I will try to magage DND with Samsung Routines.

Question Sleep Mode - Turns on an Alarm in the Morning? Can't Turn off?

I noticed this on my S22U XSA updated to one UI5.1. Sleep mode (designed to turn off notifications, etc) turns on an alarm at the end of sleep mode.
Even if I change sleep mode to tell it not turn on an alarm, the next day, it is back with an alarm on.
Does anyone else use sleep mode who has seen this?
Does anyone know how to provide feedback to Samsung?
Well...I experienced the same and this on both the S21 ultra and the S22 ultra since the update to UI5.1
Been playing around with it and it seems that the sleep mode triggers it.
I have now do not disturb activated and sleep deactivated.
So in effect do not disturb does the same as sleep mode that all notifications, calls etc are blocked unless you allowed different. At the end do not disturb goes off without an alarm. I have it set for the full week including weekend,
I have not really understood the idea of this sleep mode except that it has more options than a simple alarm.
I couldn't turn off the alarm today ... Pressed so many times and nothing happened.
Had to unlock and exit the app.
I discovered this by accident the other day, super irritating "feature" imo - I already have an alarm set (which, through the magic of Tasker and intents, triggers my Home Assistant server to do a bunch of other stuff) and I figured "sleep mode" would be more like DND, but nope. Sleep Mode got disabled reeaaall quick.
