On m'y case it can't je an alarm cause i haven't anyone set.
I'm using two clock app, the google clock pre installed and sleep as a droid, but none of this app have alarm set actually.
Moreother like you van see in this screenshot the second clock is really close to the actual jour, and when jour Come ti this it automatically set to 5 or 10 minutes after.....
Can't understand what is it and how i can diable it.....
Try to restart the phone in secure mode but this second clock is still here on thé lockscreen.....

That's letting you know about an upcoming alarm. It's not a second clock. You have to go into the Google at a glance settings to disable it

Disabling this setting shown should remove that

Yes seems to be an alarm but I have no alarms for this moment.
The screen you pention seems to be the one I scearch but I don't know where to find it in parameters....

It's in the Google assistant settings. Either through the Google app or through your phone settings if you don't have that installed. You could try searching settings for at a glance and see if it will take you right there.

Moreover I have not all this settings in my country, but this one seems have no effect.
Don't really understand what it can be cause I have no alarm set and this 'time alarm' change many time in the day (everytime the time come to this alarm the alarm will change to 15 or 10 minutes.....) really don't know what can it be.....
try to disable all the feature on this screen but this 'alarm' still there.....
Try something else but without more result, i disable google clock app and set an alarm on sleep as android, but the 'alarm' on my lockscreen don't look like sleep as android alarm but always a 10 minutes after the actual hour.....
Just try to un install sleep as android and this "alarm" still here in my lockscreen, really don't know what can it be..
Made me crasy for a so little thing....

That is bizarre. I totally get it though. It would annoy me too

So is the problem solved or not?? If not, I'd bet a dollar its Tasker....Preferences - Monitor - set Use Reliable Alarms to Never. And I think you need to restart Tasker
That should do the trick.

And if its not that, try to delete storage for the Clock app.

I had the same problem, and it was tasker, and setting "use reliable alarms" to "never" as posted above solved it.

Yeah Facebook authors suck.
It works on and off for me.
What I hate is, when I do get a push notification and I tap it, it goes to the notifications bar of facebook and I have to wait till THAT refreshes and shows me the actual notification... since the push notification only shows a few words... sigh.

That's weird. I have two copies of the Facebook app installed (Facebook and Facebook Pink); each uses a different account on Facebook, and neither one generates any kind of notification to me.

[Q] How do you disable S Planner?

It's weird.. I can't disable it from my s6 Application Management, the option to "Disable" is greyed out. When I go into the S Planner app > Settings > Manage Calendars to switch off all the calendars it's grabbing from my google account.. something turns the calendars back on. Force stop, clear cache, clear data just re-enables S Planner again.
I prefer Google's Calendar app as my main calendar and because I can't disable S Planner I get double event notifications. Has anyone been able to turn it off? I'm not rooted.

Use debloater program for pc (use search on this forum). Install it, then connect your phone, wait a bit and scan packages. Look for S-planner and click the box next to it and click apply (this will disable the app). You can do this without root.
I simply disabled notifications
Thanks Juzh, I'll look into that.
In regards to the last post. Can you post where to disable that?
Sent from my SM-G920I using XDA Free mobile app
Go to application manager ... In settings. You can disable notifications for many apps (which stops them running in background as well as solving your s planner problem)
OK however my S Planner notification option is checked but greyed out to disable. Does yours toggle? Could be something wrong with my phone. Anyone else can disable like the last post mentioned?
Sent from my SM-G920I using XDA Free mobile app
Just go into the Samsung calendar app and turn off the notifications in the settings
There are a few ways to do this it seems. There is a setting called App notifications. Find S Planner. Click on the cog wheel for settings.
Turn notifications off.
This happened to me too!
I tried to switch over to google Calendar, but got double notifications. I wanted to uninstall it, but that was not possible. So I went into the permissions of the S-planner app and turned off all permissions.
From that point on, it kept sending me notifications that I had to give S-planner permission to read the calendar and other items. I couldn't even go into the app itself and tell the app to stop making these notifications because it would keep popping up a message that I had to set permissions to read calendar and then it would return to the main screen of the app.
In the end, I resigned to allowing it to read my calendar and then from the app itself turn off notifications.
So I still have the app, but i no longer have double notifications.
@Mainow, I have this too, it bothers me greatly. Did you get this fixed?
jjust use titanium backup and disable it their without truning off notification or something its called freeze in titanium back up
Package Disabler Pro
I use Package Disabler Pro. I used the free version for a bit but do like being able to kill S Planner, S Voice and all those other little hard to kill apps that come on the S6 (and S7). In the end I bought the app, but it was pretty cheap. Oh, also does not need root.
Hope this helps.

[APP][XPOSED] Custom Alert Slider for OnePlus 2/X/3 [2.1]

Hi guys,
Aside from VibrateMode, I made another app which customizes the slider to make it more useful. You can change action for each slider position. And it needs Xposed framework.
List of actions will be updated here:
- All
- Interruption
- None
- Airplane mode
- Flashlight
- Vibrate
- Mobile data toggle
- Do nothing
- Remove toast when changing mode
- Remove ringer icons or change interruption icon to vibrate icon
- Tasker support (event plugin)
If you have suggestion for custom action. Please post it here and I will put it on the app's checklist.
Hope you like it

There are several reasons:
This new app focuses only on customizing the alert slider on Oneplus 2/X devices
VibrateMode works for all CM-like devices and not just Oneplus devices
Do you want more fancy features for your alert slider? Then combining the two only creates the mess.
The app has its own plan and for now it looks like it's a good idea to combine them but when I add more features to the combination, I would actually destroy the focus.
I hope you understand.
The app doesn't even run, keeps crashing when I open it. On OOS 2.1.1 with v75 xposed ver. with gavinhungry's xposed mods.
I'm with mnhs on this one. I'd like to see these features wrapped in with the other app that is already available. I understand why it's not, but an all in one solution for users would be more beneficial than having to install several apps to accomplish the same thing.
All this said, I can not get the app to work as described. I enabled the module but the app immediately crashes every time I try to open it.
I really want to fix the problem. Can you see the log and check where it crashed?
would this app work for Hydrogen OS on OnepLus 2?

The problem could be the conflict with MinMinGuard if you have them. MinMinGuard tries to block ads and causes so many crashes and hence the app is terminated. New version will be updated soon.

I have not tested the app yet. But in my opinion it will not work correctly with HydrogenOS.
Nice app...works perfectly for me. It would be better if vibrate was included in it. But still I loved the app.
Adding a vibrate mode option really kick it up a notch. You don't have to discontinue your vibratemode app as such because of its support for cm devices. But adding it here would really add to sensible functionality.
Anyway great work already! Cheers
Awesome, Man!! I just installed it and it works like a charm!

I think you said you were already working on this but the ability to assign our own shortcuts would be perfect, then I could just make tasker tasks and do anything else I want through that!

App Optimization notification is annoying!

It pops up once every couple days and just won't stop, even after adjusting the app optimization settings. Just keeps informing me of a feature I'm fully aware of. Anyway to stop this?
You can go to app notification option by pull down your notification bar and long press on the apps and turn on "block notifications"
What does it want from me?! Is there a setting, besides shutting it off, to disable that?
Oh nice!
I always forget about that feature, thanks!

No, I want the optimization feature active. I DON'T want the notification every 2 days. It keeps reminding me about the optimization feature as if I've never touched it. That on off you're talking about turns the whole feature on and off.
Briankbl is right, long pressing the notification does not give the option to disable the notification like most other apps. I've also been wanting to know a way to disable the notifications without disabling the feature. It's annoying for me too!
You can only hide the lockscreen notifications. Hopefully, at receiving Taskbar notifications every other day, it'll only be 10 or 20 more notifications before we OTA to 6.0 and don't have to deal with it anymore lol.
Any idea if this *beeping* notification is actually still active in 6.0? Or are we just hoping it goes away...because it's aggravating. So very, very aggravating...

I take it, the notifications cannot be disabled without disabling the entire process.

hmmmm what do you think I was responding too because your answer to me makes no sense. but OK... Have a good day
It's been pissing me off as well, along with the daily volume notification that leaves me on my motorcycle every day wondering why my bluetooth headset is silent. So is this Samsung's meddling again, or is it Google this time?
I have the same issue. Since the last update on my Galaxy S4 (GT-I9515). The notification every few days is annoying as hell.
So annoying!!!
I threw my phone against the wall and smashed it because of that stupid annoying notification.
(Well not really but I feel like it)
I finally just turned that stupid feature off. It's not worth the annoyance.

Can't snooze alarm on stock clock app

I don't know why they still don't add this option in their app. Anyone have any recommendations for an alarm app with such a feature?
It's in the stock app, I use it every morning. You can toggle it on or off in each alarm you set up, make sure it's on.
Never seen or used a Samsung phone without a snooze function, going all the way back to the SGS. Not sure what you're (not) looking at??
If the stock app is not working well for you, you can change the default alarm app on the S8/S8+ (or any other Android phone that has a manufacturer's clock app pre-installed) as follows.
It's just slightly convoluted, but once you do, then you can seamlessly use the Google Assistant to set your alarms and timers with the standard Google Clock app instead of the stock Samsung Clock app which won't let you change any of its defaults, and has some really annoying features (like Bixby Briefing that is the default "sound" unless you change it manually every time you set up an alarm):
1) Download and install the Google Clock App
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.deskclock
2) Load up Google Now (not Google Assistant - the older version of Google Now that shows you news, weather, etc cards, along with the old standard Google search bar at the top that has a microphone icon on the right)
3) Launch the Google Now Voice Command with the blue microphone icon at the right of the search bar at the top of the Google Now page
4) Tell the Now assistant to "Set Alarm for 1 Minute From Now"
5) When it starts telling you that it is setting the alarm, you have about 1-2 seconds of time to tap the 3-dots at the top right and select the blue icon for the standard Google Clock app that you installed in step 1 as the default clock app. If you miss it, rinse and repeat until you get it.
That's it, from now on, both Google Now and the newer Google Assistant that you can launch from your home screen with "Ok Google" will set alarms with the Google Clock and not use the pre-installed Samsung (or LG, or Sony, etc) clock.
And I know for sure that the Google Clock has a working snooze mode.
As an added bonus, now you can also change the default alarm sound by using ES File Explorer to set a new sound file to the default.
Cheers -TRJB
