I need to restore the operation of my Radio and WIFI for my EONON 2110F after a Firmware Update. Below are all the specifics that I thought would be helpful to anyone who could help.
I was told to update my firmware by the Manufacturer and now the Radio and the WIFI do not function. The Bluetooth and DVD function, but I can’t enable the Navigation without the WIFI, so the GPS is uncertain.
Any help would be appreciated

I purchased an EONON G2110F or G2110ZV Head Unit from EONON EBAY. There were a few issues I had with the Head Unit, some were my lack of understanding and 3 were the unit.
1-The Steering Wheel Control would not work reliably with my 2004 Honda Odyssey.
2-The Weather App was not finding the region I entered so it never updated.
3-I could not connect my music on my Apple iPod Touch to the Head Unit, the iPod is Model A1288 with IOS 4.2.1, although my iPhone 4 with IOS 7.2.1 music could be played.
These were minor issues compared what I am now dealing with the Head Unit.
Asking Support at EONON was very aggravating. They would not answer my questions correctly. Such as if I asked them about my problem connecting my iPod Music they would send me a video using an Android. If I asked them about the Weather App not working, they told me to perform an update without providing the files or instructions. If I asked them about wiring up the Remote Steering Wheel Control, they would send me a video showing someone with a phenolic perf board with buttons on it performing the remote control operations, with no wiring detail.
Any help would be appreciated
Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist,
you asked the same question in another thread:

Hello everyone, first of all the reason why I opened this thread is because I want to know what preparations need to be made before the firmware upgrade/flashing of the android head unit?
Based on my understanding, generally you must first understand the relative brand and relative modal before flashing the Android phone, and find the appropriate firmware for the corresponding hardware to flash the machine. But unlike Android phones, there are many brands of car radio players and the system information displayed in System> About is not detailed.
I changed my car's car player from accessories shop half a year ago, but the functions inside are slightly simpler and have some bugs (you can't play Messanger's voice message while playing YouTube after connecting to Bluetooth). I thought that maybe I could flash this into a new android version.
Therefore, I list the following questions and hope that everyone can answer my questions:
1. Can most car players flash? (For example, the ADAMS I am using)
2. How can I get more information about my Car player? Hardware information and more.
3. How to find suitable firnware? Based on MCU version?
4. How to check if your device is 1 + 16gb / 2 + 32gb? There is no information displayed in System> About.
5. Different brands have different ways to enter recovery. How do I start?
The following is the information of my ADAMS car player, I hope you guys can give me some opinions. Thanks in advance for your help
Hello,
First of all, I would like to let you know through this way that English is not my native language and therefore the sentences and words will not always be fluent.
Secondly, I don't know if I posted this question in the right subtopic. Moderators, please feel free to move this question.
I recently purchased a 2012 Volkswagen Polo. This, when purchased, already had an Android tablet built in. I have no idea what model tablet it is but I have the following information available:
Model:
px3 (1024x600 O)
Android version:
7.1.2
Level of Android security patch:
May 5, 2017
Kernel version:
3.0.101+
[email protected] #894
Thu Jan 25 18:26:25 CST 2018
Build number:
px3-usrdebug 7.1.2 NHG47L eng.hct.20180131.123949 test-keys
MCU version:
MTCE_GS_V2.83_3
Apr 13 2018 21:00:04
CPU:
ARM Coretex-A9 @1.6GHz (x4)
Memory:
2048 MB
I was curious if I can find a newer firmware version somewhere for this tablet incl. instructions on how to install it.
I have sporadic problems with the radio (it sometimes goes louder unwanted or forgets my set favorites). In addition, I see several videos passing by where the interface is just a bit more slick and updated.
Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance and apologies if I seem a bit stupid / ignorant (I am however an ICT-er so I understand somewhat how certain things work).
You might be better off replacing the unit.
You could replace the SOM with a PX6 board (4gb+ ram) and then upgrade to Android 11, but these MTCx units remain behind on what is offered by the FYT units with UIS7862 processors.

Manufacturer ID =116 already limits it to Mekede/NaviFly, Prelincar, Hencheng, Yiling, Hopod, prelincar, coho (and a few more) where some of them use the "YIN" identifier in the firmware. So you could use a Mekede firmware which is still regularly updated (latest update firmware 23 September 2022)
What do you mean with the MCU number? The MCU in all the 7862/8514a FYTs is identical. The MCU firmware inside that identical MCU might be slightly different dependent on the hardware, and that is determined exactly by the manufacturer id (displayed by the "vague HWInfo" , which lists much more info inside the zip, when that zip would have been shared).
Anyway, OP can flash a Mekede firmware with manufacture id 116, or a Joying with id 43 where he needs to update the AllAppUpdate.bin to put in the right manufacturer id (and/or bluetooth id). You can get that info all from the HWInfo.zip files.
The model number is completely irrelevant for a firmware flash. 9" 10" only differ in having 360 camera software or not.
Only difference make the Tesla style units as they use a different screen rotation and slightly differently built android apks.

Hey there, @surfer63 !
I just purchased this 2k resolution 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM model from “Nevegetor”. The unit seems to be a newer style with a nicer, fuller screen and such. My question is - can I flash a Mekede firmware, as the UI that comes from this distributor is a bit bland? The unit should arrive in January. I am also going to need to figure out his to use my OEM camera in my 2018 Hybrid RAV 4.
is it possible to remove old MCU and install another new MCU on the android head unit ? currently im using KSW-S and it seems pretty bad to use.
No one will know what the head unit is - are you sure it's an MTCD type head unit? Post Android system information including MCU version.
