I would like to make a copy of the partition with OP11, but I have a problem.
To run "MSMDownload" in the directory must be a file with the "OPS" extension, so I place this file from the ROM for OP8Pro (I have).
After starting in the "msmdownload" administrator mode, I press F8, choose all partitions, enter the password. From the command line I enter "ADB Reboot EDL" and the device goes into this mode.
The status "Connected" appears in the "MSMDownload" window at the Port of COM. I press "Readback" and here is the problem here.
Several times it disconnects and changes the status, then stops and the only thing that helps to start op11 is pressing "vol+ vol-power" for a few seconds. It enters the recovery mode and turns off after selecting. Then I can start the device.
I have a question for you - how did she make a copy of her partitions?
In EDL mode, did you choose "Readback" or maybe "start"?
I am afraid of pressing the "start" because to start "MSMDownload" in its catalog there is a file from another device (from OP8Pro) and I'm afraid that Flash of the same will start after choosing "Start".
Thanks for the answer.

From what I understand, you need to have ops file for your model OP11; not OP8Pro. Even if you wanna take backup and not flash, you would need file for your device only. I haven't used MSM tool yet, so I'm not entirely sure. Someone else need to confirm if I'm right or not.

But QFIL is complex, isn't it? How does it know flashing which image to which partition? I think fastboot method is simpler and reliable, although a bit tedious.

He also said in the video that to flash the partitions, we need to use fastboot. That's what I thought too. MSM cannot flash individual partitions.
I backed up my partitions using dd method through Termux terminal. Then I tried flashing back through fastboot and fastbootd modes but my phone would not boot up. So I had to use MSM tool to recover through.ops firmware. The bottom line is even though I have the backup of partitions dumps, it is useless. Or am I missing something?
P.S. I did not backup though MSM. I used dd method. Would there be a difference in backup files from those methods?

People say use fastboot to flash the files obtained from MSM flash readback. Is there no other way to flash these files obtained from EDL mode?? Someone please clarify

So as of right now there's other ways to flash these files onto the phone fast boot is the fastest and easiest now other methods are more automated but it depends on which Qualcomm flash tool you're using do they have like 26 currently speaking and this is not including the one I just talked about qdl on the post I just made commenting on the other guy that links you to a GitHub if you click the emblem on the top left hand corner it will drop all of the suppositories they have quadcom has like 20 in there and 12 of them are command line flash tools the .h files or help files that tell you how to use them

Fastboot is fairly simple. Download the latest Chinese from from miui.com, unzip it, connect your device in fastboot mode, and run the flash_all.bat file. It will take a while and the command prompt window will close when it is finished and your device will reboot.

I am downloading the ROM.
Please can provide step by step instructions?
My understanding is to:
1. copy the rom in minimal fastboot directory
2. unzip all files in that same directory (or should I create new one?)
3. Execute the command below:
fastboot flash_all.bat
By the way, can I use fastboot with locked bootloader?
Thanks again

If you have ADB installed system wide, then it doesn't matter where you unzip the full image to. The best way to have ADB installed system wide is through this method.
You don't need to type anything. Just open the folder the ROM was decompressed in, right click the flash_all.bat, and run it as administrator with your device connected in fastboot mode. It will literally do everything else.

Did you install ADB 1.4.3 from the thread linked to? Do you have your device connected to a USB 3 port or USB 2 port? Are you using the cable that came with your device to flash it? Were you booted into the bootloader when trying to flash?
Edit: Read that post wrong. You need to download the fastboot version. You can't flash the TWRP image using fastboot.

Bootloop, only fastboot and EDL mode no system boot please help Axon 10 Pro

hi Guys
I'm in the forum for a very long time as an assistant helper now it has got me hard I have an Axon 10 Pro with curly boot loader and trying to flash a TWRP I have somehow the device or SotA and SlotB have shrunk. The Axon Bootet permanently in 0.5 second cycle and also a FULL Restot or FULL Flash with EDL Tool has not changed anything. Likewise, a new flash about fastboot with the command (fastboot flash boot_a boot.img) the same for boot_b then try with fastboot command (fastboot boot twrp.img) Recovery to start without success fastboot erase boot_a and boot_b has also flashing new but it does not start. Always bootloop:crying::crying::crying::crying:
the Axon 10 pro is back because he had no backup of all we had from my Axon 10 pro made a backup with the edl tool (Backup all) and have then copied his efs backup purely and then this with then on the Axon 10 flashed the Axon 10 pro is now back
Where did you get the twrp from?
From udev

I had a bootloop issue as well and even though I reflashed using the EDL tool, it doesn't erase and the errors remained, but when I entered EDL mode and reflashed using the Xiaomi Flash Tool, storage was completely erased and the device was flashed cleanly and booted correctly.
I've encountered a similar issue with my Axon (2020U version). I can boot into EDL but nothing else (no fastboot, recovery, etc.). I previously had TWRP up and running successfully, not sure what happened.
Is there a full EDL zip or similar that I can flash to return everything to stock? I tried restoring with the EDL tool but with no success

The reason the EDL tool may not work is that is doesn't have the capability to erase. The boot loop that occurs is usually due a corrupt bootfile. Use the MiFlash fastboot recovery tool. Make sure to select the clean all button at the bottom. Place your phone in EDL mode. Hit refresh to make sure your phone is detected. Select the EDL file and then hit flash.

Ok I understand that and I've downloaded the ROM but there is this sentence "1. If Fastboot firmware. The ext. must be tgz. If not. Rename it from .gz to .tgz. Extract it by WinRAR" and also these sentences "ZIP. ZIP ROM using Update function in System or TWRP EU. EU ROM flash using TWRP".
I am just completely lost
To be simple : your flash went wrong probably with a bad rom download or a bad flash method.
If I were you I'd reread the post on installing Xiaomi.eu rom and redownload the whole.
Install OrangeFox recovery with the corresponding thread in the forum and ask if you're still lost

You should be able to reflash stock and recover your phone using the MiFlash tool.

And also the problem is, that my phone (Poco X3 NFC) isn't being shown in the MiFlash software. I can access the fastboot screen on my phone and yet it still won't show up

Do you have miflash?
It forces a reformat of Miui recovery rom an then you can start again. Just pay close attention to the bottom right hand corner an make sure it is off default. Default is 'relock bootloader'.

The problem is that my computer can't find my phone. Nothing happens when I plug in the USB-C Cable. It doesn't work on the Fastboot screen nor does it work on "the System has been destroyed" screen. I am pretty sure I downloaded the neeeden drivers. And also, the phone was being found/recognized in the working state.
You need to extract then extract again. You double extract with a fastboot image. Then in miflash you find where you extracted that image to. Then hit refresh in miflash an your device should show in miflash. Miflash can be a tricky beast till you have practiced using it a few times
Hi. If you haven't fixed it yet you can try this: Download stock ROM from here (make sure it's the right one for your device!), choose Recovery ROM download link. Put it in your ADB folder. Do the same with recovery. Download this version of recovery as well. Enter fastboot mode on your device and connect it to your PC. Make sure it's detected. If not, try a different USB port on your computer. Open ADB using Open CMD.bat file in ADB folder.
Type in:
fastboot flash recovery OrangeFox-R11.0_6_Alpha-Unofficial-surya.img (hit Enter)
Type in:
fastboot reboot recovery
You should now be able to access your device internal storage from your PC. Copy the downloaded ROM file and OrangeFox-R11-Unofficial-Beta-surya-10-01.zip to your phone (put them in "Download" folder so they're easy to find).
Using Orange Fox recovery file manager find OrangeFox-R11-Unofficial-Beta-surya-10-01.zip and flash it then REBOOT TO RECOVERY.
Using Orange Fox recovery file manager find your ROM file and flash it. Do not reboot! Hit BACK and choose WIPE in Orange Fox menu (Trashcan icon, second from the right) and switch to Format Data at the top. Read the instructions and follow them by typing YES. Reboot to system. You should now have a working device with a clean stock ROM and a custom recovery installed and keep messing around with it

Just two more question.
Where does one get the ADB folder? I may have downloaded a few but I don't know if those were good/correct for my device.
And what can I do when the device is not being detected by my computer? Like should I download and install some new drivers?
But can you reach the fastboot splash in your phone?

Has anyone flashed this successfully?
any bugs? i flashed crdroid. it's too buggy
Hi everybody,
Still mad at myself for buying this phone (with MediaTek SOC) because of the lack of custom ROM support. Never had this issue before with any of my phones. If only i knew this before. The hardware of the phone is great, but the software makes it really frustrating to work with.
So i've tried a lot of things to either mod the original (Chinese) ROM so it's at least functional. And i have also tried multiple of these GSI ROM install methods. Everytime without succes.
I've tried your previous method with the 'GSI installer' and the one from this guide. Neither of them worked. (Boot loop). I have a feeling i run into trouble because (if i'm correct) the original ROM uses a 'super' partition and not a 'system' partition.
If i remember correctly the GSI installer couldn't continue because it couldn't find the system partition.
In this guide (for corvus) i figured i'd flash the system.img to my super partition. Of cource that doesn't work either. If only it was that simple.
Everytime it fails i have to flash back to a standard xiaomi ROM and start all over again. Because for some reason the TWRP backups also dont work for me.
So maybe i'm missing a step in the guide or i've already tried so much to mod my phone i've changed settings/partitions that shouldn't have been changed for this guide to work.
My bootloader is unlocked, i have/had TWRP 3.41 installed.
After a fail i flash back to the original ROM using Xiaomi ABD/Fastboot Tools (xiaomiABDFastbootTools.jar)
Any help would be appreciated!
I never had issue when I flashed the GSI from the crdroid guide did you make sure that you put the GSI installer.zip and the image file rename to system.img to the root internal storage??
Yes i did. It could also find the system.img file, but just wasn't able to flash it.
Can you tell mw what ROM you were flashing from?

First I flashed crdroid. but did not like it. then I flashed blissrom using the same guide for crdroid. i just downloaded the rom posted on the guide. while for the bliss rom the arm64-bgN
Did you wipe data first before flashing?

Question Noob who bricked phone trying to root here. Need help.

I didn't know what I was doing and now I'm paying the price (tbf the guides I found weren't very beginner friendly).
I tried installing Magisk on my device. The guides online told me to use a .img file patched by the app and flash it. I did that and now I'm stuck in fastboot mode.
Sorry if I need stuff explained. A lot of this goes over my head and evidence shows that I'm dumb, so bare with me.
You don't flash the boot image or you risk a brick, use fastboot boot boot.img instead. When it boots, open Magisk and do the direct install.
To fix it you'll need to get a stock copy of your boot image and try flashing that or just use the MSM Tool for your device.

Index of /list/Unbrick_Tools
You can also find the variant for your particular device and MSM the device back to stock. Easy to do. This is how a OnePlus tech remotely fixes a device without being sent in.

I have the MSM downloader but it says I need a username and password?
EDIT: Nevermind I figured it out.
What does EDL mode look like btw? Is it just a black screen or does it tell you?

It's a black screen.
Power off device. Hold vol +/- while inserting usb cable. Should be in EDL mode. PC will make a sound or MSM will say "connected".
First off you could always extract the ROM that you're using by downloading ROM and payload.bin dumper, extract pay load takes a long time please wait till the window closes by itself. Make sure your bootloader is unlocked.
reflash the boot.img over your device through fastboot mode with the extracted boot.img.
Make sure you open command prompt inside the folder that contains the fastboot files and adb files to run fastboot in command prompt. Connect your phone in fastboot mode.
/Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Boot.img has to be located within your fastboot files that you have downloaded. Or if you internally installed with platform-tools then use that specified folder and insert your boot.img there. If you do not command prompt won't be able to locate the file and will fail.
If it does not boot after successfully flashing stock boot.img you will have to follow a tutorial to use MSMtool for OnePlus 9. Depending on what firmware you need download appropriate files,. Make a space on your computer for your files because there will be a lot. Or you could also format data and see if that was the problem before considering MSM tool
You need the correct drivers for EDL mode to function correctly, you also may want to install OnePlus drivers from there website.,
For EDL mode to be detected with OnePlus 9 you must download a driver called
Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008
Anymore questions feel free to PM me I may be able to help and same with some of the other guys on here that have also commented above.
