Hi everybody!
My Redmi 6 w/ China ROM is coming in a few weeks - I have a few questions because I'm so excited!
My understanding is that even the official TWRP has many bugs, but will it still allow me to root MIUI 10? Seems that Xiaomi.eu is even having issues with the Redmi 6 and I can't even install that. So I'm only left with Rooting MIUI 10.
I have scoured the internet but found no sources. Can TWRP at least flash Magisk to MIUI official Stable? Surely there is aw ay to root MIUI
You can try this recovery.
It has magisk built into it.
So you can flash it from there.

Hi,
I have found android 10 GSI flashing method for our note 10 lite in Mi note 10 forum. I want to know using that methode can we flash oos for our note 10 lite. Because I came from oneplus 6 and I think oos is better than miui.
And also there has few touch freezing issue in this device I think that is software issue. And also if we flash another rom it will be fix. ?

I met a devoloper who does the Oxygen OS port for the Mi 9T Pro and he said if I have 3-4 testers that have a Mi Note10 Lite, he would try to build an Oxygen OS for the Mi Note10 Lite.

Coincidentally recently my Note 10 Lite arrived in mail so I'm willing to give it a try, if I can get the hands on a working port I can give it a try and report back issues and bugs.
I have unlocked phone and can test rom.

I found bunch of OxygenOS GSI's ready to download, sadly they don't boot fully and end up in loops.

Hey everyone
sorry for my bad english.
i am using my redmi note 8 with havoc os for quite a while now.. but recently when i tried to flash arrow os 11 which is one of my favorite roms.. no matter what i do.. i was stuck in a bootloop.. so i flashed havoc again.. but today i saw on arrow os post that we need to have android 10 or 11 kernal.. but when i flashed my havoc first time i was on android 9 stock.. now i think that is why it was bootlooping and freezing while booting. now i don't understand how to flash a android kernal in redmi.. and also i couldn't find android 11 kernal for redmi note 8 .. all i was seeing that android 11 was only available for china varients (idk if that makes a difference). still i have some questions. can someone provide me a link for redmi note 8 android 11 kernal? and can i flash it via recovery? or i need flash it with some software while in fastboot mode? Any kind of help will be appreciated.

hey i cant seem to find any answers about this on the internet and i have no idea on which forum should i post this on my choices were the xiaomi.eu, orangefox but i have choose to reffer to you guys and i hope to meet some nice people. Im using a redmi note 9 pro (joyeuse) with the latest xiaomi eu rom
running android 11 with OrangeFox recovery. and this phone is about to get (its not out yet) its android 12 update. i need help updating it because i don't want to brick my phone. Also the reason why im not posting this in my phone's dedicated forum is becase the story should be the same for all the other people updating from android 11 to 12
So i have no idea if the version of orangefox recovery that i have supports android 12 (im running R11.1_2 STABLE) the website mentions nothing about either android support. there is also a BETA version of OrangeFox for my phone which is R11.1_3_4_A12_FBEv2 in the notes of this BETA version it says "This is an (FBEv2) Android 12 (and higher) only release. Do NOT use with Android 11 or earlier"
now lets say that the miui 13 update with android 12 is out. what do i do then if i want to update? more specificly in which order should i update the phone? should i first update my recovery and then the rom? or in reverse? or is there a way to update them both at the same time? there is also a possibility that by the time the miui 13 update comes out OrangeFox might come out with a new stable version that will support both android 11 and 12 at the same time so that will completely eliminate my problem.
Moving from Android 11 to Android 12 is UPGRADING, not updating what simply patches existing Android 11.
