Launch google voice (for me long press on the home button) at the top right, your logo/account,press it.
Lock screen/enable responses on the lock screen.
It's already on, that's why I thought it was a MIUI issue.

We have gone around the question, maybe a bug, wait for the update.
Try to select the language in French and not by default on the output of the voice synthesis.

Voice Match while screen is off is not possible on devices that don't have a Global model.

It's working as expected. It "trains" you for a while, and then gets out of your way once it knows you know how to use it.

Google has not enabled the feature for every account. The feature is rolling our per-account basis. If you want to make the options show up, try following the method on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2799678
Unfortunately I don't have KitKat, and Google hasn't pushed this to my account.
There is an app OpenMic+ that basically allows the same thing, and it works pretty well so far.
One thing I did notice is that you have to turn on audio history if you want the option of allowing now everywhere to even pop up.

Google Assistant stuck in dark mode after Android 13 stable update
Some Google Pixel owners on Android 13 are reporting an issue where Google Assistant is stuck in dark mode even when using the light theme.

I've started getting this notification saying "free games. Hot popular games! Play now for free!" When I long press for more info on the notification, it disappeared and a message pops up saying the app isn't on the list of installed apps. It is a pretty new phone purchased from Poco direct and I only have a hand full of apps installed all big name apps. Any thoughts?

It should be crapware in the miui, not really a malware.

I could not find this setting. Could you confirm exactly where in settings this option is.
Sure, in my miui 13.0.3 is in:
Settings --> Password & security --> Authorization & revocation
Here screenshots grabbed from my mobile, sorry it's in italian language, but should give you an idea.

Perfect, just performed these steps and the notification disappeared. Thanks for the quick response.
I used a Xiaomi phone for quite a while and got used to a feature that's part of the Mi security app called Video Toolbox which lets you to turn of the screen while using a certain app and many more. I used it for YouTube while commuting to listen to podcasts while my screen would be turned off. Now I'm on a Pixel 2 XL, and I miss my old feature. Is there any app that'd meet my need?
Are you sure that it is a feature of MIUI system?
It seems that it should be a function of some stream video or podcast apps.

Yes it's a MIUI feature and by default it's enabled just for Mi video app and you can add it to any app you want. It's found in settings>special features>Video Toolbox

Idk, when I used it mine was running MIUI 12. So guess they have removed it afterwards. I believe you have newer version of MIUI.
Yes, my MIUI is v14.
