Lineage Os is always preferred over any other GSI. Because once there is lineage os there will be other roms too as most of them are based on Lineage OS. So, I'm waiting for lineage os 17 for VIOLET..

Guys, Pixel Experience for Redmi note 7 Pro based on Android 10 is here. It is still in beta form but actually its quite stable and far better than any other GSI. Everything is working fine except some minor bugs. So, if you want to enjoy the Pure Pixel Experience of Android 10 go ahead and install the Pixel experience. Green flag from my side.

Yes, PE comes with GApps in built,you don't have to download any. Some reasons to use them include:
1)Better Battery Backup
2) Custom Kernel Support
3) Performance
4) Features
5) Exclusive functions from other phones
6) And a lot more..

PE, come like L.Os, after flashing LOs, I flash, (dont flash) GAps, Or GAps are allredy inside, and have no solution to remove, like in stock rom?

No, you cannot install it without GApps. You don't get an option to do that in Pixel Experience.
Pixel Experience for Redmi note 7 Pro (Violet) just got an update. It's still in beta but many bugs have been fixed and now I don't find any bug. Using since 1 day (power user) and haven't encountered any bugs yet. Cheers

Why aren't other Android 10 ROMS coming for the redmi note 7 Pro violet.. Its just Pixel Experience that is available for the device?

I am a long time Lineage User and I was heartbroken to see this. Even if the last build was stable enough I would had stayed on LOS but alas with voice calls, wifi display and many other bugs in daily usage apps I had to abandon it.
I couldn't go back to MIUI it's horrible in terms of keeping the apps I want active.
So I went to Pixel Experience and not the Beta 10 Version, I will update to it once stable, Currently on Pixel Experience 9. It fixed all the issues with the last Lineage build.

I noticed that an update to TWRP (3.3.1-0) was released way back in May of 2019 that has never been be posted on the download page for the Pixel 2. Is TWRP no longer being supported for the Pixel 2?
I see the update has been provided for the original Pixel and for the Pixel 3A, but not for the Pixel 2 or 3.

You can't flash ROMs with this version. You have to downgrade before

GSI rom is not a good idea. Try lineageos 17 for pure Q or look for the "Mi mix2s Arsenal" in telegram groups. There you will find new Pixel style roms

LOS 17 is stable and smooth or it's alpha/beta ?
It's beta but I have no problems with it - I use on a daily. For installation, I recommend using the newest OrangeFox recovery and 9.6.27 firmware.

Smooth like Miui ? Have always little scratch when i tried Android 10 rom.. (Pixel Experience and Arrow OS)
I found Android 9 roms was more smooth than Android 10 rom (on Mix 2s) or it's me ?

These ROMs are widely popular and I have used these two in my previous devices and would like to use them in OnePlus 7 as well. The Lineage ROM thread seems dead and no one has started work on Pixel Experience.

It looks like they are working on a version for the OnePlus7 as there's a repo on their github org, that has the codename for the OnePlus7 in it (guacamoleb).

Right now there is no xda thread for pixel experience (guacamoleb) but you can join their telegram group if to report issues.
It seems we got the last major update with EMUI 10. My Phone still looks like new after 2 years and i'd like to check my options. Since there is almost no custom ROM development i'm trying to find out, if there are any GSI Systems working well with the P20.
Has someone tested Lineage OS or even Android 11 as GSI on the P20 L29?

I was told the gsis wont work on android 10. I think you'll need android 9 vendor
Thanks for your replies. I'll have a look at the treble roms and might track the progress around CAOS 11. That looks promising too!
Has anyone been able to install any GSI of android 11? any help with android 10 gsi? any rom gsi recommended?
