Various speed tweaks.
Usable on any Android 13 ROM.Download:Download platform-tools.zip and DarkKernel.img from here

June 24 2023 - Updated platform tools to the latest version.
June 22 2023 - Added a root kernel version that has everything except confidentiality mode enabled.
June 22 2023 - Improved internal system HZ to 1000hz for battery life and user experience. Removed old encryption methods that are insecure (only newer better algorithms).
April 30 2023 - Improved the compression algorithm for ZRAM (multitasking cache). It's faster. Now it's zstd.
April 16 2023 - Changed the CPU scheduler to on demand, a better battery life scheduler because... this phone is already insanely fast.
Mar 26 2023 - Added in the NOOP scheduler and updated the kernel to the latest Google build with all changes. Upon networking testing it is about ~25% faster on the same connection on LineageOS 20.0.
Mar 3 2023 - Changed the page to be Kernel only for Android 13.
Feb 14 2023 - Updated the build to the latest February security patch system images and kernel.
Feb 4 2023 - Simplified the source code building process, made a new build, and updated the Github source code.
Jan 18 2023 - Reduced kernel size and eliminated some bloat, changed the kernel compression algorithm.
Jan 15 2023 - First build with stock system images and modified kernel for speed and security.

It's stock android with a custom AOSP kernel.
Added a WiFi speed test image, it came back so fast!!!
Uploaded a rooted magiskboot.img for those that want root! Instructions are in the post
UPON REVIEW ROOT DOES NOT WORK WITH LOCKDOWN MODE ON THE KERNEL ENABLED. In order to not sacrifice any security, the normal build will not be rootable. I will supply a rooted kernel that will work with it but it's just stock in the same build so you're basically running stock if you want root. Otherwise, lockdown mode is enabled and always will be in the normal build for security and privacy. Don't worry about it.
Simplified the source code building process, made a new build, and updated the Github source code.
Another official build for Bluejay! Thank you dev, will try this Rom soon
Happy Valentine's day!
Updated the build to the latest February security patch system images and kernel.
Updated screenshots for the February build.

LineageOS for Nokia 7.1
About LineageOS
LineageOS is a free and open-source operating system for set-top boxes, smartphones and tablet computers, based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Since Cyanogen Inc. retained the rights to the Cyanogen name, the project rebranded its fork as LineageOS.
LineageOS was officially launched on December 24, 2016, with the source code available on GitHub. Since that time, LineageOS development builds now cover more than 185 phone models with over 1.9 million active installs,having doubled its user base in the month February–March 2017 And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Hm.. intresting
Main reason behind the bugs is
Recently Nokia 7.1 Snapdragon 636 handset received Android Q update named with 4.08B & i used the vendor from that . So my job is only system & boot so blame Nokia to fix that mic bug which is related to vendor.img
Hi, this looks great! I haven't used a custom rim for a while, mostly as I was looking for something more stable and with the best possible camera quality. However, I'm struggling with stability of the stock rom after android 10 update.
Is camera quality in lineage the same as stock rom?
Is this stable enough to be day to day phone?
Is this unrooted by default? Or easy to unroot? Worried about app compatibility.
Thanks for your help and development!
Works great, only no bluetooth audio
Just flashed the latest version to my 7.1.
First try many things didn't work (wifi, sim, etc.). I think this was connected to twrp not installing correctly or something. After installing again, it works great.
Screenshot on imgur /dAiYMl0 (i can't post links)
One (I think) bug: bluetooth audio doesn't seem to work. The device connects, but there's no sound. Tried with different headphones.
One other issue: wired headphones don't seem to work for calls. They do work for music etc.
Changelog - 25-01-2020
Note - clean flash recommended
* January security patch
* Disabled force encryption
* Compiled using legacy
* Linux version 4.4.194 ( Black caps edition ) based on Official stock kernel sources 4.10C & compiled using clang 9.0.3
* Fixed mic bug during calls via headphones
* Comes with 410C vendor.img
* Added OTA Support
@Raghu varma awesome work, thank you! Shame the bootloader unlock procedure is not yet straight-forward enough so more people can enjoy it.
NFC issue
Hello, everything looks good, but NFC is not working on my Nokia 7.1 device anymore. Is there any way on how to resurrect it?

You have installed only the rom nothing else (magisk, gapps, ...)?

Installation Steps
Hello,
I want to know what are the installation steps to install custom ROM on Redmi Note 6 Pro.
I have installed pixel rom on Moto G5s plus, but no idea about Redmi Note 6 Pro.
Please help.
Excellent ROM. I have one small bug which isn't vital but slightly annoying. When you launch Google assistant the microphone works the first time and after that stopped responding. It then seems to lock the mic for everything else. E.g. Recorder, Camera, etc.
Any thoughts?
Ps. Mic still works on calls. It was a clean install.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Spoiler: Personal Note
LineageOS still keeps old builds updated right? No. Updates are cut off for 16.0 branch over a year ago. Android security patches are still being backported but you have to pick them yourself and that's essentially what I did. While I was at it I also enabled signature spoofing in case anyone wants to use microg. It wasn't as easy as using the patch from lineageos4microg repo. It fails the build for some reason so I picked a commit for it then edited it to make it system apps only. Then there was the case of kernel issue. I skipped building it and used TureX's Phenix Kernel. Why re-invent the wheel right? Since this is an unofficial build webview issue is gone as well. Included webview is based on Chromium version 100. Anyway the whole thing happened because I complained at Darkjoker360 about how long it would take to apply the security patches from gerrit. He's the OG for doing device trees and teaching me repopick (how could i've missed it the whole time?). I signed the build with my own keys so that lineage would stop pestering about public keys. That means you have to factory reset if you're running official or another unofficial build. There is a migration zip going around but I didn't bother creating that considering the userbase. Depending on requests I could do a build every few months with newer security patches. -given that they will keep on getting backported-
TL;DR
-2023 January Security Patch
-Phenix Kernel included, no need for specific emui version
-Webview included, no need for bromite
-Signature Spoofing enabled for MicroG
-Signed with my own keys, you need to factory reset if you're switching from official or another unofficial build
What's not working :
VoLTE & WoWiFi
Offline charging (?)
Instructions :
Download the latest build and microg/gapps
Reboot to TWRP recovery
Sideload latest build
Wipe > Swipe "Factory reset"
[Optional] To disable encryption mount /vendor then type : adb shell "sed -i 's/,fileencryption=aes-256-xts:aes-256-cts,reservedsize=20M//' /vendor/etc/fstab.hi6250"
Sideload microg/gapps
Reboot

I noticed it as well but I forgot to add it to thread afterwards. Thanks for reminding. It could be fixed i think (?). I tried iceow's offline charging fix but it wasn't working. I'll test some stuff and return my findings.

Lol, it's just charging pngs. I messed with android 13 too much that I forgot it was the only problem back in the day. I tried multiple binaries and created multiple services while trying to fix something that's not broken in the first place. Good catch.
and i was doing the same ..... wanted to modify the loader file for android 12...... Now it works. And do you know how this can be achieved for Android 10? So far with neither of the two paths I have been successful.

i just pushed up new update sync between kernel and rom. update latest fw 58.2.A.10.126 before flashing rom
I downloaded the newly released rom and flashed in the boot, but still can't boot. I guess it has something to do with the fuji kernel. When I use other roms, I can't boot with this kernel.

I don't want to stay official for some reason. but with xperia 5ii it is the same official or unofficial maintenance because the device tree is already working stably. the rest is in the source rom so I still update regularly when there are new modifications

Hi
I flashed this rom on my device and boot successfully.Later, I flashed the KernelSU-boot.img you provided, and installed the KernelSU app, but I couldn't grant permission, it's still unroot.
How should I do?
