Convert kb2007 (NA, T-Mobile) to kb2005 (NA, OnePlus) for dual sim dual volte/vowifi, possible?
I read some xda/reddit posts on this topic. It seems: - OOS 11 is the only option to stably run kb2005 (oneplus dual sim) firmware on kb2007 (tmobile single sim). And a dual sim card tray can be used so that the second sim works for volte/vowifi...

t-mobile version

Is this the latest version for my device? I see people on 11 stables or betas but haven't seen anything for my device. Any help would be appreciated. I included a pic of my latest software.
This is t-mobiles latest stable. Global model has android 11. If you follow the threads to convert to global, just be aware that the global android 11 doesnt pick up sprint bands yet.
T-mobile is slow on its updates...
TMO too damn slow for me so I've been running global since June 2020! Happy modding

I'm wondering if the OP8 tmo has the hardware for dual sim as did the previous tmobile variants. Can you let us know if you see two IMEIs or have tried a dual sim tray on the converted phone?

IN2010 Bands Questions

Can someone enlighten me please has I got today a OnePlus 8 and it is version IN2010, I have read on different sites and some say that it is compatible with band 66 and 71.
I used Shortcut master to access band menu but they are greyed out. Well this is a used OnePlus so how do I know that it's running on International rom? If I flash international bands can I use USA bands? Since it has 865 SD? Right?

Hi,
Bands cannot be activated/deactivated through software and ROMs. If you bought an IN2010 you'll get the chinese bands. And you can check if you're on the global ROM by going into settings then about phone and look at the Oxygen OS build number. If it ends with IN21AA it's global. A simpler way to check if you're not on chinese software is that they use Hydrogen OS, which is Oxygen OS, but complying with the Chinese gov's policy. So you'll see a difference.
Hope that helped

Which is the most supported variant of OnePlus 8 ?

hi
Which is the most supported variant of OP8 ?
I am looking a upgrade my OP A5010, looking for a dual sim Onyx Black 256GB model, I want good XDA support for the phone, been a Lineage OS user for a very long time (my daily driver). I am in the US
iN2010 seems to be a chinese variant, easily available on ebay.
Ref:
iN2017 (T-mobile which I believe one should avoid for various reasons. )
iN2020 (China),
iN2021 (India),
iN2023 (Europe/Asia),
iN2025 (NA/USA/google)
G
PS looks like I mixed up OP8 and OP8Pro numbers
It is sugguested to check your sim card vendor's band lists
Here is a list may help

unfortunatlly, by now there is no enough stable / official lineage version for OnePlus8.
and after upgraded to A11, TWRP is no longer supported, neither does EdXposed.

Flash T-Mobile to Global OS

Hi expert here,
I just purchased a Oneplus 8T KB2007 (T-Mobile variant) with KB09CB OS. It doesn't seem to be carrier locked as I can use other carriers with it. Anyone can link me a guide how to flash the firmware to KB05AA version?
Thanks in advance.

How to Install ColorOS (Any Android Version) on Oneplus 8T+ 5G (T-Mobile Carrier Version)?

I was given Oneplus 8T+ 5G (version of T-Mobile carrier). I converted to EU platform after reading Craznazn's post. But now I want Rom ColorOS on this device. Is there any way? I also hope Craznazn can make MSM Tool with ColorOS. How can I contact and donate to him? Take it as a support to motivate him to work for everyone. Thank you everyone for your attention.
You can upgrade and install the full package of hydrogen OS locally after converting to the EU version, and then download the full package of ColorOS12 for local upgrade again, but it seems that there will be a problem with charging, and the 65W warp charging full package cannot be activated. You can go here to download https:/ /yun.daxiaamu.com/
