Image jerks appear when scrolling pages slowly - General Topics

Hi all. I replaced the smart display module with the Chinese amoled version. Everything is fine, but with slow scrolling of pages, image jerks appear (video attached), and if you just swipe, then the image fades smoothly. Any ideas how to fix it? In developer mode, I displayed the refresh rate value on the screen, writes 60 both with slow scrolling and with fast scrolling.

Video recording in HTC Touch

Clicking still photos is fine, but the record video screen has a miserably small viewing area in the center of the screen (about 1/4th of the screens size).
In regular photo mode, the display is full screen. How do I fix this? Any tweaks or other programs etc?

[Q] why dont pictures load while scrolling?

When im scrolling through web pages images don't load until i take my finger off the screen creating a slight lag where there won't be anything on the screen for a few seconds theb the images will pop in. This happens with the stocl browser and dolphin HD. Anyway to fix this?
I'm pretty sure this is just the nature of current android devices. One of their main weaknesses is their ability to smoothly manipulate the screen (scrolling, transforming, scaling, etc.). There is also always a slight delay between touching the screen and when the screen starts to scroll. I am running a 1.7 ghz power house and I still notice this effect, although ever so slightly.
its weird though because if I scroll, stop scrolling, but still leave my finger on the screen the images won't load, however as soon as I take my finger off the screen the images load. Its as if the tablet isn't even trying to load them as I'm scrolling but instead waits for me to finish
PS you're lucky to get yours running at 1.7 ghz, mine is stable at 1.6 but crashes at 1.7

WQHD W/ DEV Mode Animation scales @ "0" VS Adaptive Display Movement

Has anyone checked this out closely.
I don't sense much better fluidity with Adapted Motion and FHD.
JUST ME?
I think it is just you.....
Set display to 120hz adaptive, load up a big web page or an app which has some scrolling room. Scroll up and down notice how fluid it is.
Then change display to regular standard 60hz and switch back to that web page or app and scroll up and down.
You will notice the difference.
Personally now I don't think I can go back to a 60hz panel on a phone.....

flickering display areas

Hi, I am on latest 11.0.1.1 global. I actually don't remember that I had these issues on v10.x, but definitely since v11. I use 120Hz, FHD+ with all color optimizations turned off and with standard OP launcher.
I experience some flickering of the whole display or just parts of it in many situations. It starts to get annoying.
Examples:
1) open the hidden app menu. Right before it opens the whole(!) display flickers white once. Good visible since the top bar next to the camera hole flickers once.
2) Go here and try to type in any number. The moment the GBoard comes up at the open, it flickers just the bottom part.
3) Lock your phone. When you fire it up and the Lockscreen gets unlocked, if flickers once.
There are so many more situations but the depend on some apps.
Is this normal behavior? How to fix this, if it is not?

Scrolling works ok only on the right edge of the screen?

Hi, i just bought from aliexpress a Lenovo xioxin plus tablet (the Chinese p11 plus) with a global rom ( TB-J607F_S160068_210722_ROW) running android 11. It has a really weird issue - the scrolling seems to work properly only when swiping on the right edge of the screen, there it is fast, responsive and controllable. in some apps like facebook the scrolling on any other part of the screen is slow and unresponsive, and i need to use fast large strong swiping motions to move the screen at a decent speed. On chrome for example the be scrolling is slow when normal strokes are being used but it pick up speed suddenly, and i cant learn how to control the speed. but on the developers settings menu i WAS able to control the speed but it was still slow and i needed to use strong big strokes. In all cases scrolling worked fine only on the right edge (although i cant completely control the scrolling on it enters high speed)
Any ideas on what is the problem and if it's solvable without replacing the firmware?
