SO Yesterday i just had unlocked bootloader of my new oneplus nord 2t bcz i wanted to try new android 13 on itt ...!!
but later i found that there is no custom rom for it and later i found that i have got android 13 beta update on my nord 2t so in a hurry of this i just
directly tried relock bootloader due to which now i am getting that boot/recovery is corrupt pls flash new or go to customer care..
now in this i am not even able to go into fastboot ..
and recovery is there but no options and when i try to go into brom mode and try to bypass it I am not able to do it..!!
Now the main reason why bootrom or brom is not bypassed it is due to mediatek chipset ..
My mediatek chipset is MT6893Z which is not in payloads...!!!
Pl help me !!!
I am attaching photos!!

Dear Sir/ Madam.
I am also same case, please help
You can't fix. You must bring it to service centre.
You used to be able to fix this by flashing stock ROM but now this is patched (yes patching apparently means making it worse for users according to OnePlus/Oppo)
The only way of fixing this issue now is by bringing it to a service centre, sorry for your troubles
I'm in the same situation after re-locking the bootloader from rooted device. Yesterday spent all day trying to fix it with flash tools. Got the A09,11 and 16 rom with proper scatter files, but phone won't stay on brom/edl so msm/sp flash tools will not detect it. Today I posted on oneplus forums, maybe you can reply with your problem too and then perhaps oneplus will provide a proper unbrick tool like for the rest of their phones. Here is the thread:
OnePlus Community
Introducing our new OnePlus Community experience, with a completely revamped structure, built from the ground-up.
community.oneplus.com
As garylawwd metioned, there is no fix as the mtk method was patched out on A.14 or A.15.
I guess it is very unlikely that OnePlus will provide an unbrick tool (;
Gents. Could you please elaborate more on what the OP did wrong in this case? How the bricking could be avoided in this particular case?
Does that mean that any re-lock of the bootloader and further OTA official update will lead into the bricking as of now?
Newbie here, still planning to root my phone (due to i need to enable auto-calls recording feature so badly), but according to many "bricking" forum topics, not sure if it is safe to go this way nowadays
You have to change the patched boot.img against the stock boot.img before re-locking your bootloader. Otherwise your device will be bricked and there is no way to unbrick it for now.

he messed with his phone i some strange way. recovery says the kernel (boot.img) is wrong / broken...
i would advice him (as he gets into the bootloader) to: unlock the bootloader 1st (so he can load a new boot & rom on this) he can do this via this bootloader & moto website
when he is unlocked he should flash a stock firmware via bootloader BUT he need to LOKK THAT THE FW matches HIS MODEL!!! instructions & downloads of the firmware can be found here in the moto g hread.
good luck!

I have the Moto G 1st Gen (XT1028) for Verizon Prepaid. I've had it for about 2 1/2 years and I really want to downgrade it to it's original operating system. I usually check here every couple of months to see if there's yet a way to unlock the bootloader, but no luck. I know there's the sunshine unlocker, but that isn't compatible with my 5.1 operating system. Is there any way to downgrade my phone back to 4.3 without unlocking the bootloader? Thanks for any help, I greatly appreciate it.

Hi,
Don't want to be rude, but answer is "no way".
Without unlocking, nothing to do... By the way, seems to be a bad idea to downgrade, risks of bricking your phone...

i have unlocked bootloader

The error is Fastboot attempting to prevent you bricking your phone by downgrading to an unsupported operating system.

This is not possible for you - even if you could flash the firmware image. The only way to boot the Jelly Bean Stock 4.3 Kernel (and ROM) is to never update your phone's Bootloader. Once Bootloader has been upgraded, you can never go back. Stock Kitkat is the earliest option available.

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. Does anybody know of how to bypass settings keys for adb. I have a OnePlus 8t T-Mobile that I had unlocked by T-Mobile but still converted to global and since then has been nothing but problems.
Currently I have lineage installed and phone boots fine. The problem is that even though it boots I think it's still bricked. I have no touch once lineage boots... On top of that I have no recovery, I have no fastboot and no edl and adb needs the keys set to do anything with adb.
I've had numerous other OnePlus phones and never experienced issues like this. My guess is converting to the 9r lemonade broke something. Since porting that rom I have been unable to convert back to TMobile. I know my drivers are installed correctly. I not only know how to check drivers but I also tested drivers since I have 2 computers and also a 6t and a 7t to test. Msm tool fails since converting device.
Any ideas or leads on where to look and read is much appreciated. Thanks Sam

Hello all.
I have a Oneplus 9 T Mobile variant that my son and his friend tried to install a Global Rom and I would like to return it back to stock. Problem is they lost track of what they did and now I do not know which way to go. I've read many threads and tried to educate my old ass before reaching out to you all. I used to be tech savvy but have been out of the game for far too long to remember most of the tricks. I would really appreciate it if someone can patiently guide me. I like to thank you in advance.
What I got out of them is they used THIS thread as a guide and magisk to root. They never backed up the stock rom and may have only flashed Slot_a. They uninstalled root to see if that helped. The phone works but can't update due to the unlocked bootloader that is greyed out. This is some info

Just would like to get it back to stock just where it was when I received it new. Thank you again.

Find the msm tool for your variant. It's here. Hold all 3 buttons, vol+& vol - plus power . This reboots edl and allows you to start msm tool. It restores to factory condition and locks the bootloader. Google msm tool for op9 to find out how to use properly.

This the one bud. And good luck
It worked! That was way too easy.
Thank you so very much my friend. I really do appreciate it.

And btw the device will update properly with just the bl unlocked. It's when you get into rooting and patching partitions that Google -ota runs a checksum on the partitions ,detects tampered and update fails. Enjoy your device
I'm getting desperate now.
MSM tools (EU/Global) get stuck at waiting for devices.
No ADB (unauthorised) or fastboot. In Windows device manager after holding power and both volume buttons for fastboot it's shows as this:

I'm at a loss. Had to buy a new laptop and everything to fix it.
Please help, someone. It's getting depressing now.
Drivers are fine by the way. All upto date. Only ones I couldn't find were the official OnePlus ones, but those should be automatically downloaded after plugging in right?
! is a driver issue.

Also, since your device is this far gone, it likely won't be recognized by the EU or global MSM Tools. Grab the Indian one for the 9 Pro.

After you flash that, grab 11.2.4.4 here and follow the instructions in the thread.

If this doesn't work for you (make sure you try it with Sha256 checked and lite firehose unchecked), you will have to grab the downgrade package from the pinned post and either use the local upgrade tool or TWRP to flash it.
Thanks again for yesterday, mate. My hero for the day!
