Hi All.

How do I improve it further?

I doubt there is anything you can do. The reality is that root can be sniffed out in MANY ways and it's just a matter of how much work the app dev wants to put into discovering it. I have a credit union, Security Service Federal Credit Union, that their app detects root no matter what I have tried. You can't even get to the login page, the app throws up a security error and won't continue. I just don't use their app anymore.

Me too. How were you able to circumvent "moe.shizuku.redirectstorage" in 'Libc File Detection' and 'Syscall File Detection'?

I guess by hiding those apps from the detecting app in the hide my applist lsposed module.
But your PM Intent Queries all cleared, how?

Well, Storage Isolation is added to the Template, and, thus, is hidden from Applist Detector. What does your Template look like?

I don't know how I achieved that. But you can read my setup at the bottom of this post of mine.

You don't have to perfectly hide it. You can treat it app by app i think,
for example, my bank app only detect developer option state, so i hide it using IAmNotDeveloper modules,
other app scan for root app, so i hide it using HideMyAppList,
for the rest, Shamiko and DenyList do the job for me already.

I use Magisk Delta (not canary/beta) by HuskyDG which is a modded version of original Magisk.
I had a banking app which with frequent updates deteta most of the ways. Finally i used shamiko + airfrozen + other normal steps to hide magisk. With magisk delta it has the old magisk hide implemented along with zygisk and its very easy to hide apps now in single denylist. No further steps or apps required. You can try out this if you wish.
Where is this?

Banking PNC App Requesting SUPERUSER!?

So I have the PNC smart access (for PNC's prepaid card) app and it requests SUPERUSER.. *gasp*
App here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monitise.mmb.client.android.pncSmartAccess
I've done some tests and apk break downs and I've found out this.
1. Using root cloak on it will not allow me to login and will throw some error. (on a unsupported xposed lollipop device now so I can't show screenshots)
2. Lucky Patcher doesn't show any ACCESS_SUPERUSER modules in the apk. Wat? yet......
3. SuperSU has a record of PNC Smart Access of requesting superuser in its log. Speaking of SuperSU...
4. Denying it access will allow me to login but only after I have to send a email verification. EVERY TIME I WANT TO LOGON IT NEEDS TO VERIFY MY EMAIL.
5. I spoke to PNC tech support and they didn't know jack what I was talking about.....
6. I have not given the app superuser permissions so I can't see the effect of it being allowed.
Maybe someone can look at the APK and solve this mystery??

That's strange.
There's some enterprise email clients who won't allow their email on a rooted device....
@Newyork!
Yeah... And more so that their isn't any trace of superuser access request permissions in the app... Wtf?? Yet supersu generates a "toast notification" about superuser access being denied
I'll supply screenshots when I get home. XDA app won't let me upload photos...

Also PNC SmartAccess dodges SuperSU logger. It just shows "exit" in the logger after setting both app and option as FULL ACCESS. (with allowing it SuperUser of course >_<)
I'm going to logcat and see if anything else turns up

Hi !
My name is Sylvain, I'm french and with some friends we created an application to help you when you have a big phone : One Thumb Control.
At first this was a school project at our university but we decided to finish it and to publish it in the playstore to see if people like it.
The app works a little bit like pie control. You can open it from anywhere and you navigate in the app with only one thumb.
It works with different modules that you can activate or not and customize. We have several modules :
_a file explorer
_a quick app launcher
_a quick settings module
_a music player
_a communication module (send Sms...)
_and a contact module.
The app is still in beta so it can be laggy or crash sometimes but we are still working on it to make it better.
Just some screenshot :
If you have any suggestion (new modules, new options...) we are open to everything
And the link to the PlayStore : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nf28.aotc
Nice work :good:
Thank you
The app looks great but the permissions, specifically internet access have me a little concerned. I understand the need for most of those permission but when tied to the full network access it can be worrisome. Would it be possible to remove that permission (seeing as there are no ads)?
As I remember, I needed this permission for the WiFi toggle in the quick communication module. I need to check that but I'm not sure I can remove it.
I know that the app require a lot of permission due to all the modules. It would be better after I change the target to Marshmallow and update the permission system.

AdZHosts
This HOSTS file is available on all operating systems. It has been used worldwide since 2009. It has already proven itself and is used as a source by many other projects. It is even by default in Blokada.
Its goal is to offer you a very precise and effective advertising block. Plus it helps preserve your privacy by blocking spy trackers and unhealthy addresses. It's all in one.
Website | Telegram | XDA-Labs
In addition to offering a HOSTS file for your Android, Windows, MAC and Linux, AdZHosts also comes in pre-settings for your browser extensions. NandoAdblocker and uBlolck.
There are also presets for AdGuard and DNS66 extensions.
Blokada already offering AdZHosts by default.
Very good. ?
Hi! May I use your work for add it into keweonDNS?
working good with adaway+adzhost+magisk adsblock.
AdZHosts is down I'm sad.
Yeah, their main site says they are shutting down did anyone by chance make a backup of their android-hosts.txt? PM or post it. I would really appreciate it.
update: Energized Basic is identical
update 2: Energized is blocking my cable company login on ther History APP, when I disable blokada, I'm logged in, when I enable blockada, I'm logged out. Adzhosts seemed to have a fine balance. Anyone have a backup list?
update 3: whitelisting sp.auth.adobe.com getting some success

Remove persistent notifications?

Does anyone know how to remove annoying persistent notifications that you can't disable through settings? I have some apps set to not auto update ON PURPOSE, so this notification is annoying! Pic attached.
EDIT: My phone is rooted, so that's very much an option.

Tried that first, it says these notifications can't be turned off. It's like, a system level thing for some reason. I'm thinking there might be a terminal command or maybe something I have to freeze in my system, but not sure what it is and don't wanna start "trying stuff" lol
Why don't you just update the apps?

You could always disable YouTube under System then Apps. That's what I've always done. I stopped using YouTube Vanced though since Google updated their ToS to where if you're caught using YouTube Vanced, you could get your whole Google account blocked.

I second that. Elaborate? I'd hate to lose my Google account o.o I use the Magisk module version of Vanced personally.

Question LSposed annoying notifications

after the last update (1.8.6) LSposed, I am very disturbed by notifications. I turn them off and after a short time they turn on again.
Does anyone have the same problem?

I have the shortcut in a folder on my desktop but disabling the persistent notification is grayed out in the settings...
thx!
Remove parasitic manager. It's so hidden that it doesn't have shortcut on the app list. And notification is a way for user to open the manager.
One way is to go to Lsposed Manager settings and create shortcut (on home screen). Than there will be (below short it creation option) a switch for the notification.
Another way I believe is to install Lsposed Manager. It should take place of the parasitic one. You can download it, but it should be already available (APK file) in /data/adb/lspd/
Thank you, installing Lsposed Manager fixed the problem!

Same for me, installation of Lsposed Manager did not bring any change.
I removed this one by installing Lsposed app from the playstore and in its settings disabled "Status Notification"

I managed to fix it last night, and today, I was unable to pay for lunch via google pay

Right. I created the short cut and can now turn off the LSposed notification.
Thanks!
