Help : Stuck on the animated Xperia logo. Apps say "This phone is locked" - Sony Xperia XA Questions & Answers

Hello, help request !
I recently tried to use my old Xperia XA again. I think the last thing I did to it was a factory reset, and store it away.
Now, when I start it, it boots past the logo, displays the flashy XPERIA animation and…does nothing else but the animation.
I connected both Sony Companion and Emma(aka FlashTool).
Sony Companion tells me the phone is locked and I should unlock it with a schema… but well, how could I draw a schema on the animated logo?
Emma when in the appropriate mode does see the phone on USB and reports its IMEI etc… but tells me "This phone is locked" and refuses to do anything.
How can I get my phone working back ?
Thanks for any advice, your help will be appreciated !

[Q] Cannot unbrick X10 Mini Pro. Tried everything i could find on the internet.

i have a x10 mini pro and it got bricked.
i tried out every single procedure i could find on the internet. But still, i could not unbrick the phone.
The current status of my phone is , when i start it, it briefly vibrates then a blank screen appears for 5seconds. Then nothing for another 5 seconds, then the blank screen again... its the blank screen loop.
I dont see any Sony Ericsson logo or NAA kernel Logo.
The phone was running of
1. Naa Kernel v10,
2. cm7 1.9
3. unlocked boot loader
Things i tried:
1. Flashing stock rom and all other roms using flash tool.
2. Flashing Naa kernel v11.
3. Repair my phone using Sony Ericsson PC Companion.
4. Hard Reset.
5. Disassembled the device and the screen cables are good.
The adb does not recognize my phone, the flash tool recognizes my phone, but the PC Companion does not. When i select the Support Tool in the PC Companion and repair my phone, the PC Companion re-installs the Stock ROM successfully.
But still, i am stuck in the blank screen loop.
I had PMed this scenario to some experienced devs here in XDA.... and got replies too.... that didnt help again....
Please do help.
Thanks in advance.
It seems to be a hardware problem and not a brick.....
thanks to @leajian for the advice....
Thats a relief..... will give the device to the service center and see.....

I've bricked my SGS2 loads of times just by flashing roms, I just flash a stock rom back and start again then use my jig - that resolves bricking
Yup...
i did the flashing like 100 times....
restored the phone with pc companion another 100 times...
still the same thing..... blank screen loop.....

I installed AOPK milestone(not sure which version) on my brothers Xperia X8. And after I did everything, it only had to boot. Restarted phone and it always stop at the black screen saying with white letters Sony Ericsson. I tried to restart it with Sony PC companion program, but my computer froze every time I put my phone in flash state.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
