Reaching out for help on said topic. I am receiving notifications from blocked numbers. I'm particularly speaking about SMS messages. The messages appear in the blocked and spam folder, but in my notifications panel I still receive a blank text showing I received a message from the blocked number. I recently upgraded my phone from galaxy S20+ to S22+, and on the S20+, this was not an issue. Is there any way to not receive that notification. Nothing I'm doing seems to be working. I even tried uploading my saved settings from my S20+ but that did not resolve the issue.
Thank you!

Hello,
The last days I'm having problems to send long SMS text messages. Messages which contains 3 SMS messages ends up in a notification that the message cannot be send - and it's dropped in de concept folder. First I thought it could be the number of messages stored on my phone - so i cleared all folders. But the problem remained. Sometimes it works well and sometimes only after a few tries... my friends told me they received partly messages when it gives an error on my phone. Maybe it's a problem with my provider (Mobistar in Belgium) but before it seemed to work well with my Sony Ericson. Does someone have an idea what can cause this issue?
Thanks!
Good Day Everyone,
First I have to say I am really enjoying this phone and works great for the most part.
I am having 1 issue that just baffles me. I am currently with Sprint and running 6.0 and sometimes when I receive a text message I will not receive a pop up or a sound alert. I will not know if I got a text message unless I go into the text message app and notice I have 1 new message. Also when I receive a MMS message it will stay in pending download unless I send another MMS message to someone else or receive another MMS message then it will force the old message to download. I have updated my profile and checked settings in case I missed something.
Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a solution or something I am missing?
Thank you all
I all,
With my previous Nexus 5, when I got a voice message, I recieved an SMS notification (and with Marshmallow I had the visual voicemail). But with my new S7, I have absolutely no notification when I recieve a voice message. Yesterday I directly dialed my voicemail number and I found 5 "unread" messages !!! That's pretty annoying... :/
I have entered my voicemail number in the phone application, but nothing happens...
How can I be notified ?
Thanx
Hi all,
My Mate 9 (MHA-L29C432B138 bought in Germany) works perfectly with regards to notifications from my daily apps, like Emails (Standard Huawei app and Nine) and WhatsApp.
But I noticed the following:
I checked the automatic screen activation for emails and WhatsApp and it works only partially. For email it works always, even when only one email had arrived but for Whatsapp the screen will only be activated when there are at least two messages. In other words, when someone sends one message, the sound appears but the screen remains black, and when someone (the same or somebody else) sends a second message, the screen will be activated with both messages...
Does anybody have the same problem?
Best,
Lars
Yes, I have exactly the same problem. A workaround is to use popup notifications in WhatsApp. Then the screen will be activated always when you receive a message. But another solution to this problem would make me happier...
Gone since the 190 update!
I keep getting notifications of Can't get MMS so I turn on Data and click the message on the notification screen. Nothing happens. I have received MMS recently so I think this is just one of those new advertisers sending me a MMS with no phone number. I'm using Textra as a messaging app and I have notification dots turned on. So the Textra Icon is showing a Dot but when I go into the app none of the entries in the history list has a dot. I don't know who is trying to send me MMS. This has to be fixed because it's like screening your phone calls. If you don't recognize the number I don't want to download the MMS. There seems to be no cancel option. This must be added. It can't be blocked because you don't know the number. Wouldn't it be great if you where able to block MMS or SMS with blank recipient phone number. Wouldn't it be great if robo callers where not allowed to set their phone number as blank. Wouldn't it be great if Robo callers were required to set a code that a phone app could read and bypass the call.
