Use a Bluetooth mouse is scroll wheel and buttons to control media playback on the ph

hey guys I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. Here's the scenario I'm trying to set up:
a bluetooth mouse is connected to my phone. Hey video or music is playing on my phone, which is lying on the table and connected to a pair of speakers.
I'd like to know use a Bluetooth mouse and have the scroll wheel fast forward and rewind and another button on a mouse to play and pause the media.
Of course this is possible on a computer with all the key remapping software and media player software with hotkey support.
I haven't been able to find a way to do this in Android
Anyone know if my scenario is possible to set up?

Possible to have the Volume keys always control a home-theater amp?

So there are a couple of apps that let you do so such as Unified Remote and AnyMote, but the problem is that it only works when that remote is open on the screen.
I tried button remapper but only got as far as opening the remote that controls the volume. If anyone knows of a workaround to do so that would be great. In worst case, possible to have them always controlling the PC volume?

Bluetooth music controller broken when USB audio is being used

I bought a Bluetooth controller https://www.amazon.ca/images/I/51rPNr9NjcL._AC_SL1000_.jpg to use on my bicycle so I don't need to unlock the phone and mess with the screen to skip songs, and it works fine when using a regular headset in the 3.5mm port. But when I use my Dragonfly USB DAC all that works is volume up/down and the play/pause button. The previous track button acts like volume up, and the next track buttons acts like volume down.
It works fine on my Galaxy S8. And this is not an issue with a certain app because I tested it on many music apps. It seems to be the phone itself.
Can anyone think of why it would be doing this, or any way to remedy the issue? Or is this just an unfixable bug?

Your is a rare specific use which i don't think xiaomi did ever test their phone in this condition, the only way to get it fixed is trying to report using their channels (feedback app, mi community etc..), or you can try switching to custom roms to see if it works fine there

Any android apps to play an mp3 sound on controller input?

Hi, I want to make some sort of sampler pad using an old generic controller connected to an old android phone, and I was wondering if there are any apps that you can press a button on the controller and it'll play a sound from an mp3 file you select.
Thanks
