A51 stuck in TWRP bootloop - Samsung Galaxy A51 Questions & Answers

Today, I flashed the latest firmware onto my phone, it had a few boot issues but I managed to finish.
Then I noticed that (I KNOW I AM DUMB) forgot to backup the data in my internal storage as well...
Now I tried flashing TWRP because I noticed the internal storage shows up as ~4GB, which is about as much as I had free space left before flashing.
Problem: my phone is now stuck in a TWRP splash screen bootloop and doesn't want to reboot anywhere else.
I used the exact same TWRP ROM I had previously used on Android 11 and it worked perfectly fine (ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-sm-a515f-one-ui-3-0-dub1-android-11.4231543/)
Now I can't get out of TWRP anymore (not even into download mode or anything) and all my hope is pretty much lost.
Do I need to wait for the battery to fully drain? Would it still be possible to recover the data from the internal storage (since it wasn't encrypted and appears to still be there?)
Thank you in advance to anyone willing to help!

For the record; I got it out. Still pretty stuck fixing the OS, I gave up on the data since it wasnt too important anyways

The same issue

Drain the battery than go to download mode with pc. Than flash it with firmware. You can find firmware on galaxyfirmware.com

The battery, let it drain or force restart to download mode and flash the whole firmware.

Yes, I let the battery fully drain - my trick to get into Download Mode was to hold Power + Volume Up once the battery drained and then connecting the charging cable connected to a computer while holding down the buttons
Then flash stock FW

More can not help
You can try Alcatel's own software, namely Mobile Upgrade Q (download here), which will reflash stock firmware onto your phone and is designed to recover bricked and/or bootloop phones. You will lose your data though.
Both solutions did not work and issue remain unresolved.
Any recommendation probably using adb commands to unbrick ?
\knowing that developer options are not enabled and there is no way to enable it because the phone is bootlooping

thank you so much for your help.somehow i got it back up and running
Had the same happen to me. It didn't want to go into recovery gave a message it failed. With some patience I manged to get the button combo to work for fastboot then did a flash-all of the factory image. I think the trick was it had to be plugged in to get to download mode and I think you may hit the power button slightly before the volume down. It was a bit tedious. I tried to recover the boot.img and that trashed things up worse, got no google loading logo or something odd. Anyhow flashing the full factory image fixed things!
Glad you got it resolved, maybe this helps someone else in the same spot.

I think I just totalled my H910...

So, I was trying to root my V20 I legit just purchased earlier today.
I followed the Dirty Santa guide, and it worked out great. I was in TWRP and I went to wipe the cache, and accidentally wiped the whole thing. While I was attempting to fix it, I was putting a MicroSD card back into the slot and knocked the battery out.
I know.
After messing with it for 5 hours, I finally got back to TWRP. In my state of exhaustion and frustration, I accidentally flashed an H918 ROM onto the phone in TWRP. It restarted, and now it's totally dead. Black screened. Won't turn on, can't use any button combinations to get it into fast boot nor recovery.
Any ideas?

nothing at all. and this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/v20/how-to/h918-twrp-flashable-stock-firmwares-t3619671
I guess the 918 and 910 look TOO similar on a 1440P screen
sometimes you gotta laugh to keep from crying.
Luckily, it was only 240 dollars.

Ouch unfortunately this is a complete rom that updates every partition on your device including bootloader... which killed your device..:crying: if you managed to get back into your device their maybe a chance.. sorry for that..
918 bootloader on 910=brick. no way round that.
If that were to happen to me i think i would be trying everything even if it doesnt make sense LOL! (Like..... puting the phone on the fridge, or disarming the whole phone and disconnecting the motherboard and then reconnecting it again and all) ... But... I've never flashed a rom not intended for my device. I've always been careful with that.
You're in luck, download your stock rom & try my method...

will this work even if i can't get a screen?
Yep, I restored a total brick (would only boot into firmware restore screen)
Just follow the thread about installing & setting LGUP, replace the files with the contents of the zip & off you go...

i DO hear windows detecting the USB connection, and in device manager i am getting QUSB_BULK
Different story then... You will need QPST tools to at least flash the aboot partition (which contains the download mode), then you should be able to restore with LGUP.

do you know how to do that stuff?
I'd probably be able to work it all out if it was my phone. Google is your friend. On the other hand it would be faster to go to a professional shop (with tools such as octoplus or z3x) to do it for you for a fee if warranty is not an option.
All phones SHOULD be covered LG's warranty. I'm not sure if they'lll ask for proof of a receipt, but i'm pretty sure they will considering they asked for it when I sent in my LG tone platinums. If that's the case, ask the og owner if they still have it. No one is really developing for the H910 model anyways so you saved yourself some frustration in the long-run.

OnePlus one only showing OnePlus logo and turning off

My OnePlus one is only showing OnePlus logo screen and turning off, I flashed stock ROM through my computer as I thought it got soft bricked, nothing worked, when I connect it to the battery charger it shows battery charging, I guess there's some hardware problem, any suggestions will be helpful, thank you

option 1 : Do a complete wipe in TWRP (system, data, cache, dalvik) and then flash the stock rom again.
option 2: use the "back to stock/restore soft bricked device" option on bacon root toolkit using your pc
If this dosen't work only then it could be a possible hardware issue.
i have the same problem, but it survived with a simple things.
Fully charged your phone, try installing twrp (i think the newest one) and try to full wipe data, and installing new rom.
I installed lineage os 14.1 everything work.
And if it still bootloop, try to replacement the battery, and fully charged. Then try flash twrp and new rom.
good luck

Tried everything what you said except replacing the battery, it still shows OnePlus logo and turns off, guess the problem is with the hardware (battery or motherboard)

good luck

Tried to restart S7, now it won't boot again. Stuck on Galaxy logo.

Hey,
for the past months my S7 worked as it should. I am using Lineage OS. Today - as I was using WhatsApp - I got "Not responding" errors. I tried to open the settings but even here I got the same error. So I tried to restart it. Held down the power button and selected "restart". But then it just reached the Samsung Galaxy Logo and started again. Over and over. Recovery mode does not work, but the Download mode does. Right now I am trying to stay in the Download mode to drain the battery (it was at 100% when the error occured) to get the S7 to shutdown completly so I can try to get into Recovery mode again. I want to backup my data. Does anybody know what could have caused that behaviour? Or maybe can tell me what to do?
Thank you very much in advance
€dit: After the battery was empty, I connected it to the power cable and it went straight back to the reboot loop.

Do you have twrp installed? If not flash twrp with Odin and reinstall the lineage you were using from the sd card (the exact same version). All your stuff should be saved.

TWRP is installed, but I am not able to get there. Just into Download mode. Should I try to reinstall it or could that create other errors?

Problem with lineage is it could be any number of errors. You have a slim chance of rescuing your phone if you can reinstall twrp then the version of lineage you were using.
If this doesn't work then it's back to the start I'm afraid.

Plug it in and leave it for at least 15 mins. It doesn't matter if the light doesn't come on just leave it. You need at least 50% charge before flashing and rebooting.
