My Chromebook (Acer CB3-532 series/Model N15Q9) does not detect my Pixel 7 Pro but it picks up and connects/links to my S22U right away for all the features you can run between phone and laptop even the Link to Windows and it's not even a Win OS...
The only way to connect the two is by USB cable, anyone know a way to change that, make it detect and connect via BT?

hey guys,
I'm having problems with my nexus s not being recognized by my laptop when connecting via USB. I even tried using the samsung cable from my wife's vibrant and nothing. Her phone seems to work with both her cord and mines. Also, when I plug in my phone to my xbox 360 USB port, I'm able to mount it there. Only when I connect the phone to my windows 7 laptop, the little android guy pops up in the notification bar for a split second then it disappears. Then the laptop gets a popup saying USB device not recognized. is it a phone problem or a laptop problem? I keep having to load files onto dropbox on my laptop and pull it from there on my phone.
Do you have USB debugging selected? Did you download the drivers for you device to your laptop?

hi.
i have a realy annoying problem.
i cant connect my device to computer. i tried every way.
just plugging the tf to pc. no success.
enabling usb debugging. no success.
by apx. "" ""
i cant even access recovery.
i got my tf today from lab. they replaced my mobo.
and now when itry to access recovery it's just giving me a big green android with a ! inside.
so i thought. is it possible that the problem is with my usb cable?
and that i'll have to buy a new one just to confirm it?
1.) What are your computer's specifications? (OS, hardware, etc.)
2.) When the Transformer is booted into Android and you connect the USB cale from the tablet to your computer, does your computer make any sort of indication that a new device has been plugged in? (In Windows, for example, you'll get the new hardware sound.)
Hi! I have any problem tooi cant connect my transformer to PC.
I have C4Q 9550 CPU 8GB RAM Gigabyte E45P MotherBoard Windows & ult x64
When i connect my device,i have a new "hardware sound" and see baloon unknow device or USB cant recognize! What is a problem?Help!!!

Try different USB slot, Try different cable (if you can get one). Try different PC with the same OS (Win7 64-bit).
Try to reinstall Asus Sync, and USB drivers.
If it won't work after you have tried all of these, then I have no idea.
My TF works for me out of the box.

Windows 7 would recognize the TF as a Media device and there in lies the problem. You would have to force the Asus Drivers to take precedence and that is the problem. I am also told you would need the '.Net' framework installed and configured properly - as I had installed this long ago I am not sure whether this is required or not as on my PC I did not face problems due to lack of '.Net'.
On Windows XP I was required to install Windows Media Player 11 and then do some more modifications etc and then install PC Sync software from Asus.
I now have my Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit working with the TF.
When you connect your Tablet using the Charger cable, does your Tablet say something like 'Searching for PC Sync Software on PC' in the notification area?
Only if it does the TF would even be trying to communicate with the PC - otherwise it would not even be doing that.
I connected my TF to my Windows machine with the sole purpose of rooting the device and I did succeed in doing that.
I know i should know how to do this but what's the trick to getting the TF300 to connect to my laptop over bluetooth?
When i connect the tablet i get "Windows was unable to install device driver" and in the device mangler it shows two entries for "bluetooth peripheral device" with a yellow exclamation mark.
My Acer A500 connects without any problems.
My TF300 is on .29 firmware and my laptop is running Windows 7 64-bit
i have 3 bluetooth headsets and none of them work with my windows 7 laptop,
it does recognize the headsets but just say that error (bluetooth peripheral device). never able to install driver
while the headsets work fine on my sister's ipod touch, my brother's ipad, but never work for windows 7
if anyone knows how to fix this issue please let me know
but how does your acer a500 connect with windows 7?
I just paired my transformer with my Windows 7 64 bit laptop via bluetooth without issues. Windows 7 also supports headphones (old Jabra 620's) and a
Creative 200 speaker. My laptop devices under bluetooth list my laptops. Radio BCM2046 and a Microsoft bluetooth enumerator.
You might check out the various Win 7 support areas/forums.

Same here. No issues pairing Windows 7 64-bit. Of course I made sure my laptop had an internet connection so it could download and install the necessary drivers.

I have an internet connection and everything else i pair with it works... (headsets, my Photon, my A500) ..
Not something i NEED...just wondering if anyone had any ideas
Wasn't trying to be snarky before. Sometimes just have to start from beginning. Lenovo laptop, Win7/64-bit/SP1 current with all updates when I got the TF300. Literally just turned on BT and paired. Think I made tablet discoverable and found it on laptop.
I do run into problems from time to time with both wifi and BT configs. When things fail for whatever reason I end up deleting, rebooting and recreating. It is Microsoft afterall...
Is there an app/program or is it otherwise possible to share a usb device plugged into an android phone with a desktop computer, or vice versa over wifi or bluetooth. For example plugging a DSLR into my android phone and having it show up on the desktop computer as if it were connected via usb. There would be a ton of uses for this if it is possible. It would change your phone into a sort of wireless USB port.
there is software USB Network Gate with Win and Linux versions which probably could help you, but I don't know if it will work with Android...
I had run into USB Network Gate in my search for something similar for android. Seems like a great tool. If only it were able to run on android and was a bit cheaper.
Anyone know of something like this that will run on android?
I can't get the notebook (windows 10) to recognize the zenfone 6 and even my car's Android Auto doesn't recognize it. I believe it is a problem with reconfiguring the device. Can anyone help?
