Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus (sm-n975f) stuck in Odin USERDATA>userdata.img - Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Questions & Answers

Yesterday evening, after downloading the official firmware from sammobile.com, installing the samsung driver, activating OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging mode, I started to flash the firmware with the latest version Odin. It gave md5 error while loading the AP file on Odin. When I searched on the net, it was said to just delete the md5 extension of this file and try again. So I did that and the firmware started to load normally. When the green line was near the end, it stayed there for about 10 minutes. I was in a hurry too. I disconnected the phone from the PC so I could reinstall it at home.
But the phone gave the warning "An erorr has occured while updating the device software". Neither download nor recovery mode was available.
Smart Switch did not see the phone. When I tried to reinstall with Odin, the green line under the Odin USERDATA text got stuck towards the end, although there was no line or movement on the phone. No movement for 15-20 minutes. What should I do and what is the outcome of this situation? I would appreciate it if experienced, expert people share information. Thank you in advance. I am waiting.

still waiting..

Firmware Upgrade Error Skyrocket??

So ODIN recognises my phone (Kies doesn't), but I can't seem to flash anything. I got stuck at the "Firmware upgrade encountered error" message. I'm just trying to use Konane's method of getting back to stock but my ODIN only shows "Initialization" then sits and does nothing else.
Please help me out here - I'd rather not have to take my phone to AT&T...
This is the method I was following: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1340526
Spoke too soon - it's my bum-a$$ computer at the house that didn't recognise my phone every time I connected via USB. Love XDA!

[Completed] M4 SS1060 Bricked / Help Please.

I guys I'm a noobie at this Stuff... But I make my Struggle, even trying it
I have a M4tel model SS1060 from Telcel, the phone was Ok, just one day it freezed , I removed the battery and when I put it back to the phone it get sttucked at M4 logo
So, I found at the web :cyclops: that with SPflashtool I could make it boot up correctly again, loading again the correct ROM or FIRMWARE with it:
I was making this procedure on a laptop with Windows 8.1pro 64bits.
1.- I get the firmware from MTK page I found
2.- I installed the mtk VCOM preloader drivers succesfully
3.- Extracted the RAR file of the Firmware.
4.- Opened Flashtool, I selected the respective scatter.txt file for my device, put the icon on "Donwload Only".
5.- I unpluged the battery, and conect it via USB, the program started to send the file . After a few secconds a error ocurred saying that the PMT was wrong. So i Try it again a few times, even with other version of SPflashtool, and different firmwares for the M4 ss1060 (diferent mobile operators ROMs) without good results.
At this point the phone was in the same condition... I could boot it into recovery normaly, but when triyng to boot it up it keeps stucked at M4's Logo.
I found that this issue was supposed to be fixed setting the program on "Firmware Upgrade" instead of "Download Only". So I make the same process changing it to Firmware Upgrade.....
7.- The progam started succesfully, and loaded the file completly with no errors, after eight minutes the "ok " icon" was shown :fingers-crossed: .
I unplugged the phone from the PC, insert the battery and nothing happened ANYTHING. I think that my mistake was to put "Firmware Upgrade".....
The phone keeps OFF I plug the Charger and it does not turns even the screen to Say "I'm Charging" :crying: I can't even get it into recovery mode, no logo screens. BUT.... When I plug the USB from the PC to the Phone I see that the Device Manager detects the phone with the Vcom Preloader of Mediatek.
So I tried to load the firmware again with SPflashtool on Download mode, the program send the file correctly, and it takes long as ten minutes showing the "OK" icon. But the phone keeps OFF, it makes nothing....
So I wonder If someone knows what to do, I was thinking on install a custom recovery, having on that the problem may be that I damaged the recovery of my phone making it unaviable to boot up. But I'm not shure, and I haven't found information about it.
I just knows that my phone has a MT6572 Chipset, I wonder if some one knows what to do.
Thanks.

Please Help! May have softbricked my Galaxy S6 when trying to unroot!

Ok. So I was attempting to unroot my phone earlier, so I downloaded a stock firmware and used odin to put it on my phone (don't know the technical term). When is was going through all of the things in odin, it said it failed and said 'Complete(Write) operation failed'. I then tried to download a stock firmware from another site, and the same error popped up. I kept retrying and sooner or later I realised that my phone was saying that there was an error updating and I need to use emergency recovery thing in smart switch. I tried this, and neither smart switch, or Kies recognised my device. I then tried to use odin to flash this TWRP thing I have from something I did a while ago. This worked somewhat as I can now access this thing call team win recovery project. I can also enter download mode. Does anyone know how to help me?
Thanks

G930T stuck in recovery after reboot

I rooted my my few weeks ago with snapdragon root, and yesterday I realized that some apps kept crashing, so I rebooted my phone, but it stucks at Tmobile logo. So I opened up smart switch on my pc, tries to restore my phone, but it said that : SM-G930T does not support initializing. It's confusing since I restore using smart switch before, but I downloaded stock firmware from xda forum, and flashed with odin. And it shows sw rev check fail device 4, binary 3. And it boots in to recovery mode everytime I forced to restart. btw, it says dm-verity verification failed. What can I do to fix this? Thanks for any suggesions.

I had the exact same problem with my phone which is the same model as yours, and after almost 2 days of surfing in the internet like crazy and trying all the diferent programs I found the solution.
1. first go to this video youtube,com/watch?v=RSZiVxJyFb4 (I cant post links so I will substitute the dot in "DOT COM" by a comma)
2.Download the firmware and Samsung drivers in the link in the video which is pangu.in/samsung_firmware.html skip thru the pages until you find your model(this link will download the drivers and a notepad with the link to the actual firmware download page which is sammobile,com/firmwares/
3. type the model number in the search bar (SM-G930T) and select the first one in the list and download it(note: you will need to create an account in this page in order to download the firmware but its only put your email and choose a password so it shouldn't be a problem. extract the firmware after downloaded.
4.Download the version of odin that is linked in the video link: pangu.in/odin_tool.html . Scroll down a lil bit and download the one that says "ODIN 3.11 (GALAXY S7)"HAS TO BE THIS ONE other versions wont work. extract it.
5.After you have downloaded everything(make sure you installed the drivers if you haven't done before) proceed to run ODIN with your phone unplugged from your pc and turned off
6.Load the AP file from the extracted firmware file into the AP tab you will see in ODIN(do all this with your phone UNPLUGED from the PC.
7.Now put your phone(which should be off and disconnected from the PC) into download mode[hold vol down+home+pwr button
then you will be aske to press button up to continue, do so(you probably know how to do this but I said in case other people don't)
8.connect your phone onto your pc and you should see your device show up in odin, now click start and you should be good to go
I hope it works for you since I know how frustrating it is to have such and expensive phone bricked.

odin keeps stuck at Initialization or says can't open serial(com) port

Hey guys, so I finally decided to post here after spending an embarrassing amount of time trying to fix my problem and getting nowhere. I have an Samsung galaxy s6 edge that gets stuck on the loading screen when booting, and won't go into recovery mode (download mode works fine). I have tried to flash the original firmware using Odin with no success...it keeps getting stuck on the "Initialization" step. Some times after waiting a very long time it gives the error message can't open the serial (com) port, but as i mentioned odin does detect my phone.I've tried 3 different cables, 2 different laptops with 5 usb ports in total, 3 different versions of Odin (3.07, 3.09, 3.10) all to no avail. I have downloaded the Samsung Mobile Drivers and my computer does recognize the device (though it thinks its a modem and not a phone). I'd appreciate some assistance in reviving my device, thanks!
