Google play has out dated paypal account - General Questions and Answers

Hi I tried to pay Canary mail using paypal account. I got a splash screen from google play saying paypal failed to go through. I changed my email address with paypal over 2 years ago. Do I have to delete my paypal account with google play and add a new one.
P.S. I have never paid for anything on google play, the bank detailds have changed and their is no way on Canary mail to update my new card only update the espiire date and the CVC
This means I can't pay for canary mail using my out dated card and I can't pay using paypal because google play has an out dated email address.
Tried add a new card on Canary mail. When adding an address and post code. the post code section only acepts numbers. I live in the UK and post codes use both numbers and letters.
Provinice drop down box only has american states. Maybe Canary mail only works in America?

If your PayPal account was changed, you need to add that account to Google Play.

[Q] Someone used my google developer account

Hello,
Someone have used my google developer account to upload a fake dating app which may contain malware. I contacted google from here and I asked them to cancel my account because it was comprised. They told me that, in order to cancel my old account I have to register a new one, so I registered a new account and they canceled the old one, but they also transferred the fake app from the old account to the new one and I told them not to transfer any apps to my new account. I asked them to remove this app from my account and they told me that they do not support the deletion of apps in Google Play.
Who should I contact to get the app deleted from my account?
Thanks in advance

Linking Google Wallet to bank account - Possible right now?

So in light of yesterday's Google wallet announcement that you can attach money to an email, I had a question about whether it's currently possible to link a bank account to Google Wallet.
They say that credit/debit card money transfers will be charged a 2.9 percent fee, but transfers directly from a bank account will be free. It also shows in the help page how to link your bank account.
The problem for me is that the method doesn't exist yet for me. When I go to my payment method page, the only option is to add another card. Does anyone else not have the ability to add a bank account, or is it just me?
I'm wondering because I just tried to verify my identity, and it didn't work. It wants me to send in pictures of photo ids and stuff now, so I thought that might have something to do with why it doesn't work for me. Maybe your identity has to be verified first. The other possibility is that maybe they just haven't rolled out the feature yet, and nobody has it yet. Thanks for any input.

[Q]Transfer Google Play Balance&Purchases To Other Google Account

HI,
I have a google account with google play where i redeemed a gift card i won sometime ago. However, that is not the account for google play and email that i use the most and that i want to use, so i was wondering if its possible to transfer the play store balance to other account and purshaced apps also?
I have been using 2 accounts on my phone, but i have to switch it up sometimes and poweramp is one of the apps i bought and it gives me a validation of purschase error sometimes and i think it might be because the account that i used to purshace it with (the one with the gift card balance) is not always selected as main account on the play. So i just wanted to have everything in one account.
Is this possible?
Thank you!

[Q] How to switch between two Google accounts with payment methods.

Hi,
Have a Galaxy S4 with a standard Android 5.0 build on it. All working well.
I have a Google Play store account with a credit card assigned.
I also have another Google Play store account which I have added a $30.00 Google play store voucher to.
When I want to purchase a Google play resource, it always selects the primary Google account with the credit card assigned to it.
Is there any way to select the 'second' account with the $30.00 Google Play voucher for payment of app/purchase?
I'm thinking I could remove the Google Play account with the credit card, leaving only the second account with the voucher, but wondering if there is a cleaner way of accessing the $30.00 voucher card account., without having to delete accounts.
Thanks for any thoughts/help.

I believe you must sign out of the first from settings>accounts>Google. Then sign in with your other account.

Hmm.. that's what I was thinking too. But was hoping you could "magically" switch between accounts without having to "remove" the primary credit card account. and then add it again later. It would/could seriously trash an Android device if the primary account has purchased many apps like Titanium Backup, Droidmail, Business Calendar and etc.
If lucky, at best those apps will just not work during the switch, at worst.....
Before I really thought about this, I thought is was a good/easy way for "significant other" to buy stuff on the voucher card and not have to concern myself about using the credit card account.
I believe, without ever having done it, a primary account can have multiple payment options.
Thus the primary account could have both the credit card and the voucher.
BUT, the voucher was just for one person and not the other little monkeys that use the 'primary' account for all there 'generic/common' paid applications.

You could try to just add the other account to your device. Settings>accounts>add account>Google.
Then see if you get the option to switch between the two.

Paypal and Play store insecure?

Have you seen this?
https://www.reddit.com/r/paypal/com...thenticate/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x
Quoting from the link:
"WARNING: Google Play store does not authenticate Paypal accounts.
I discovered this: I was using Paypal as payment method in Google Play store. A friend of mine also added Paypal as payment method in Play store, but entered my email address and my phone number (with my blessing). My friend was then able to make purchases without entering any Paypal password...!
So basically: If you are using Paypal in Google Play, anyone who knows your email address and phone number can use YOUR Paypal account to buy stuff in Google Play.
You should log in to Paypal and disconnect Google from your Paypal account."
Has anyone tested if this is true?
