I am proud to present the first dual boot project for Lenovo A6000. This will allow any number of ROMs to be installed at the same time. It works by patching the secondary ROM's installation scripts and boot image to load the ROM files from an alternate location (/system/multiboot, /cache/multiboot, and /data/multiboot). Because of the way this is implemented, no changes to the primary ROM are necessary
What is DualBootPatcher?DualBootPatcher is an open-source app that allows multiple ROMs to be installed on a single Android device. It does its best to work with existing code and does not require explicit support from ROMs. There are currently 200+ supported devices and their variations.
Information:I have managed to get Lenovo A6000 to the DualBootPatcher App's Official list, I am not the creator, just the supporter.
It's awesome and useful for testing out roms or if you want, switching ROMS.

Pterodon recovery is an android custom recovery developed by XDA member ATG Droid, this project is just another attempt in bringing another custom recovery in to the android development scene. This project is open source, so that the whole community can contribute and develop something awesome out of this.
Remember that this project is in alpha development stage, which means that only few things are actually working, for example the main features which you would expect from a custom recovery are not even implemented yet, so the builds are right now only for testing.

The phone is unlocked, it has an UBL
Upon trying to actually go to the recovery mode, The phone will cycle once and on the next cycle just go to the android home screen. I never see a recovery menu and as such I think the recovery partition is either Kaputt or completely gone. How screwed am I? I just want to flash Existenz to it. Not sure where to go from here.
Stock Recovery doesnt appear even after flashing a stock rom.
have you even read the last comments ?

That doesn't help explain why I no longer have a recovery partition... While that looks cool. If I want something else in the future I'm screwed
