Just download the full firmware from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1946456 and reflash it to your device.

I don't understand, once you boot into recovery, you see 4 icons right? rck, android, usb and wipedata, what happens when you select RCK? Also what version of android, what rom you'r using, is it rooted or unlocked?

rck will enter recovery mode
eg. if you have cwm or twrp installed it will boot into that
edit: lol i think i misunderstood your rhetorical question ==" i should have read more carefully
but fastboot mode is the usb icon...its very rare for even that to be busted
hey all
i did backup of system and i wanted reboot the phone now will show Motorola boot-animation and will reboot again and again with same place , i didn't touch anything .
Best Regards
Can you get into the fastboot menu (hold volume down and then power) or into the recovery (from the fastboot menu)? Also, have you unlocked the bootloader and/or flashed a rom?

Did you try flashing recovery from fastboot mode? If not, try following the instructions on the TWRP website (minus the "adb reboot bootloader" part, of course).

Did you try flashing the kernel? I can verify that the Optimus kernel and the TWRP from the Multirom thread work, so I'd recommend trying that combination.

The MultiROM TWRP itself doesn't install multirom, I just know it works, while some other recovery images don't. You will be able to flash a different recovery once you fix your problem.
I forgot that a kernel can't be readily flashed via fastboot... You should try downloading a stock firmware package and flashing at least boot and system.
I was trying to get the latest twrp '2.8.7.2'. I downloaded it and flashed the img to recovery and nothing seemed to happen so I tried flashing it to boot then I tried to reboot the system. Now when I try to turn it on I get stuck on the Google like it is turning but it just gets stuck. I tried Charging it now when I charge it I get stuck on the battery logo. When I try booting it Booting it into recovery(twrp) I get a black screen. I can tell the Screen is on because of the dim glow it gives off but it is not doing anything. Note: I am some what of a noob when it comes to this stuff, My nexus 5 was running Marshmallow, and I was running the Xtra smooth rom (it is very close to stock). Plz help. I have also just found out that the reason im getting the bootloop is I flashed the wrong version of TWRP need a fix PLZ HELP.
Did you try flashing stock recovery or twrp 2.8.7.1?

All you have to do is boot into your bootloader (Power + Volume Up + Volume Down at the same time) and flash the stock recovery.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Chances are you flashed an incorrect version of TWRP meant for another phone hence the boot loop.

Can you please explain to me exactly what to do. thank you. also my bootloader is unlocked. I also can get to fastboot so what is the diffrence between bootloader and fastboot.
Hold down the volume +, volume -, and power button. You'll be taken to a screen with the word START at the top. Now, connect the phone to your Windows computer using the USB cable, open a command prompt and type "fastboot flash recovery nameof twrpfile.img", press the enter key, use the volume button to select recovery, use the power button to enter recovery, press the power button, press volume + button, and you should enter TWRP.
Thank you but I do not own a windows computer
Then look up the respective commands. You flashed twrp over your kernel, you need to flash a proper boot.img (kernel) if you want the phone to boot. Fastboot is ran through bootloader. Flash the proper kernel in bootloader using fastboot.

It might not have been working because I did not enable USB Debuging. :crying:
USB debugging is required for adb commands. With fastboot mode, debugging isn't necessary.

What I meant was, flash the TWRP again( this time try 3.3.1-5), once flashed power off the device, now try booting into TWRP, now boot to system and check if it still gets replaced...

Hold the power button for long enough and I personally think flashing 3.3.1-5 would fix this as some people have reported issues like this only after flashing to 3.3.1-6

hello guys,
I wanted to do a clean flash of my poco f2 pro. Installed MiFlash, put the device in fastboot mode (it got recognized) and then klicked flash. the device immediately disappered from miflash and nothing was flashed. I can still boot into rom (Evolution X 4.7) but I have following symptoms:
1. Wifi does not work anymore
2. ADB, Fastboot and MiFlash do not recognize the device
3. TWRP (Chinese One) does not ask for unlock code and shows no sdcard contents (but Its there bc I can boot normally with data) --> DATA Partiton is not found.
4. TWRP Nandroid Backup is gone
I tried multiple Computers, Cables and ADB`s... What is the problem?
Could it be a faulty partition? Which one?
Please help me
